CITIGROUP FOUNDATION INCREASES SUPPORT

The Citigroup Foundation awarded Graham Windham an additional $100,000 grant to support the expansion of our literacy program for children across the Agency! Poul Jensen, Graham Windham President and CEO stated, “Graham Windham is extremely grateful for this additional generous grant from the Citigroup Foundation. We plan to use these funds along with Citigroup’s previous $50,000 grant to enhance the reading and literacy skills of all young children enrolled in Graham Windham programs and to train parents, child care providers, and foster parents to support their child’s literacy development.” TIGER FOUNDATION SUPPORTS PARENT-CHILD HOME PROGRAM Graham Windham gratefully acknowledges the first time, one-year renewable grant of $100,000 from the Tiger Foundation! Whereas: One of our city’s and nation’s oldest and most acclaimed child welfare agencies, Graham Windham Services to Families and Children has provided 200 years of vital service to the most vulnerable residents of New York City. Since its founding in lower Manhattan in 1806, this dynamic organization has evolved to meet the diverse needs of at-risk children, families, and communities. The group’s focus on literacy as its signature mission has helped ensure both personal and academic success for the 6,000 students who are currently benefiting from its services.
