Jamie Prakhine led the team to 4 Gold medals as Captain from 2012-2017
Our temple has raced in the Colorado Dragon Boat Festival since 2002. The CDBF is the largest dragon boat festival in the United States. Jamie raced in a total of 11 festivals and was captain of the team from 2012-2017. The temple has won a total of 12 gold medals between our youth team, our adult team, and our team today. 2017 marked the 11th & 12th gold medals rounding out a total of 21 medals.

I am honored and grateful for the opportunity to captain our team. I want to thank each and every teammate for the trust given to me as a leader. I am very proud of our team for the relentless performance and heightened commitment this year. The experience as captain has opened up many doors for my career as it allowed me to grow personally and professionally. I would like to thank our supporters and sponsors for making our success a possibility.
