Silbert James Williams OBITUARY

Silbert James Williams was one of seven children born to Dalton and Imogene Williams. Silbert arrived on the scene in May Pen, Clarendon, on August 10, 1949. He grew up in Smithville, Clarendon where he received his early education. Later, he settled in the Trench Town/Varma Road area of Kingston where he established a career as a postman with the Jamaica Postal Service.

Silbert fathered seven children who, along with numerous family members and friends, remain to celebrate his life and mourn his loss.

Children: Wayne Williams (Wife - Arlene); Dwayne Williams; Tashaine Williams (Husband - Shawn Flowers); Kashaine Williams; Odeth Washington; Wade Williams, and Sally-Kay Williams.

Sisters: Jennifer Williams (Husband - Arthur), Nezzle Saunders (Husband James), and Addie Williams-Silver (deceased).

Brothers: George Williams (Wife - Velma), Percival Williams, and John Williams.

Nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.

Death is but a door, time is but a window. I’ll be back!

In life I stand at a door looking out Not knowing what lies beyond the horizon Dreams, hopes, fears, the stuff life is about Decisions, choices…how to make the right connection Questions abound – what of the hereafter?

Personal choices to make – between my Saviour and I The choice is for now - definitely not after The door will be closed after the last goodbye

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. (Revelation 3:20)
