Dear Community Member, It is my pleasure to invite you to participate in the It Takes The Community Scholarship Fund’s 2nd

annual Golf Classic by donating goods or services and/or being a hole sponsor. We are in need of hole sponsorship and silent auction items.

On Monday, April 26, golfers from, Phoenix, Tucson, Sahuarita, and the Green Valley areas will participate in a scramble golf tournament at Desert Hills Private Golf Club in Green Valley. Our goal for this big event is to raise funds for the It Takes The Community Scholarship Fund. We raised $28,000 for the Scholarship Fund in 2020. This year it is our goal to raise even more to benefit our community families in need of child care.

It Takes The Community Scholarship Fund is about empowering parents and children by providing financial means for childcare. We believe that childcare plays an important role in raising the next

generation in our community. We know that many parents need to work to provide for their family. Children need a high quality learning environment. This scholarship will help working parents afford the best childcare in Sahuarita, AZ. Bringing community together to golf is one way of supporting this very important scholarship fund.

Hole Sponsorship, Tournament Sponsorship or Tournament Gifts for our hole prizes, raffles, giveaways,

and/or player gifts is a great way for you to support families who work and want their children to have excellent child care. Please consider this powerful opportunity for exposure and support.

It Takes The Community Contest Holes #1 Old Club Challenge (Raffle)

Everyone must tee off with old club of choice. If you keep your ball in the fairway, put your name on

the clipboard. Best old club shot of the group will be used in the scramble.

#3 50/50 On Green Ticket (Raffle)

Everyone who entered in the 50/50 raffle can win another ticket by landing on the green. Put your

name on the clipboard and claim an extra ticket in the clubhouse.

#6 Hole-in-One

Hit a Hole-in-One and win a Club Car golf cart

#10 Long Drive Men

Sign name on place holder if longer than previous drive.

#11 Closest to Pin Men/Women

Sign name on place holder if closer than previous shot

#14 Beat Pastor (Raffle)

Any ball on the green closer to the hole than Pastor’s shot can put your name on the clip board.

#18 Long Drive Women

Sign name on place holder if longer than previous drive.

Men tee off from White

Women tee off from Silver Scramble format:

All shots are taken from the best previous spot within 1 club length of the same lie (on green within 1 foot no closer to the hole) Everyone doesn’t have to hit

Highest score per hole is a double bogey

4 mulligans per team can be used for any shot (except contest shots) Must hole out (no gimmies) 1 team score per hole
