December 30, 2019 Dear members of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Southern Arizona, I would like to thank you for being the Lord’s servants and working faithfully to proclaim his Word at the congregation he has blessed you with at Grace, Southern Arizona. I would like to thank you for being the voice of the Lord Jesus in extending a call to me to serve on the Pastoral staff of Grace, and to serve specifically as Pastor at Grace’s sites in Vail and in Benson. I gratefully accept the call to serve as Pastor at Grace. I accept this call with joy and anticipation of the Lord Jesus’ continued presence and blessing among his people at Grace. I consider it a privilege to look forward to proclaiming God’s Word as your shepherd. I am excited to meet the members of Grace, and to work together in proclaiming God’s saving message and serving with Christian love the members of the Vail and Benson communities. The past weeks of prayerfully considering the call to serve at Grace has been a blessing to myself, my family, and also the members of Zion, Kingston and St. John’s Salemville. I thank God for the opportunity to learn about Grace. I thank God that he has led myself and my family to the certain decision that Grace is the place where we will serve our Lord’s great kingdom at this time.
