Human Resources: New Provider Hires

We would like to welcome Dr. Jacquelyn Wentworth to our team! Dr. Wentworth graduated from John Hopkins University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology. She then attended Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine in Roanoke, VA, where she earned her Doctor of Medicine in 2015. Dr. Wentworth also completed her residency in Roanoke, VA at Virginia Tech Carilion Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency in July of 2019. We are so excited to add Dr. Wentworth to our Women's Care team!

Whitney has recently joined our staff at the Mountain View Clinic. She began her education at Eastern Kentucky University and then transferred to the University of Kentucky where she finished with her Doctorate of Nursing Practice - Family Nurse Practitioner in May, 2015. She went on to earn a post graduate certification as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner in 2019.

Throughout her education, she served as a NICU nurse and Nurse Practitioner around Kentucky. She has worked most recently in London, KY and is joining our London clinic at the Mountain View location.

We are happy to have Whitney Hoskins and her expertise as a part of our team!

The Falls Highway Clinic recently was blessed with another great provider! Edith Hensley joins our team as a nurse practitioner after being the APRN-Medical Director at the Laurel County Correctional Center, and a nurse manager/director and hospitalist at several locations.

Edith's experience and professionalism are the perfect addition to our entire organization!

Jerry Kunkel has recently joined our team as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Jerry has been working in London as a PMHNP since August 2016 and has joined our team at the Levi Center Clinic! Prior to becoming a PMHNP, Jerry obtained multiple degrees from Somerset Community College and Eastern Kentucky University. He has served our country in the Army National Guard for 7 years, where he was deployed to Iraq from July 2006 - October 2007. Since his time in the service, Jerry diligently worked his way through school, certifications, and other medical-related positions in our area.

We are very proud to have an amazing veteran and experienced medical professional as a part of our team.

We want to welcome Caroline Akers, PA-C to our Mountain View Clinic team. She graduated from Francis Marion University in December, 2020 with her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies.

Caroline entered the medical profession as a Certified Pharmacy Technician and has completed endless rotations and education to be with us today as a Physician Assistant. Welcome to our team Caroline!
