We offer a wide variety of camps for all ages in order to keep your child engaged and excited about learning throughout the summer. In the unlikely event that GCA cancels a camp, for any reason, registrants will receive a full refund and advance notice. There are no refunds after May 1 (with the exception of a cancelled camp.) In the unusual case where refunds are appropriate, there is a $25 processing fee.
ACT Boot Camp Jen Neilson
design, evaluate, and construct complex structures and objects in this engineering-focused camp. Use the Engineering Design Process to explore the Laws of Physics that impact our everyday lives and complete these exciting challenges. Parents are invited to observe the final testing of our week-long challenge on Friday afternoon.

They will learn to “cast their cares on Him” rather than allowing fear, worry or anxiety to grip their hearts. We will have devotions, pray together and learn wonderful truths about who we are in Christ. Immerse yourself in the world of Minecraft, Star Wars, Angry Birds, create your own NBA game and more. This camp is designed to inspire learning through creativity, problemsolving and persistence. Campers will develop their own games while learning core programming concepts and developing independent coding skills. Our virtual reality experience will take you on a rollercoaster to the top of New York City. You will help prevent an alien invasion, train with Spider-Man, team up with Blue in Jurassic World and more. No experience needed.
Driver’s Ed with Brentwood Driver Training Dates: July 27-31 Ages: 14 1/2 years and older Time: Mon.-Thurs. 8:30 AM-4:30 PM; Friday 8:30 AM-2:30 PM Location: GCA HS Price: $450 ($495 to take the class at BDT—no discounts apply) GCA is offering Driver’s Education through Brentwood Driver Training. The course consists of 30 hours of classroom time and 6 hours behind the wheel. Both the classroom and driving time will be completed during the week of the course. Every student who completes the course will receive a certificate for insurance purposes. Students may also test for their permit/license instead of at the state DMV.
You can test with BDT for your license if you’ve held a permit for at least 180 days. If you are not eligible to test at the time of the class, you can return to do a quick road test with BDT after you are eligible. This course is good for insurance reduction. Students must know their social security number to complete paperwork when testing for a license. Two hours of behind the wheel training will be done on a simulator to learn driving in bad weather, emergencies, etc. Please bring a pen and non-spiral bound notebook.

The GCA Girls Advanced Soccer Camp provides an excellent opportunity for the Middle School aged players to develop their skills in a competitive environment. This camp is designed to prepare 5th-8th grade girls for our Middle School Soccer Seasons, as well as give them insight into our High School Programs.
Over the last 23 years, Coach Myers led his former team to Volleyball eight region championships, three state finals and one Coaches Nicole Smith and Jenn Grant state championship in 2012. This is a non-contact camp. This camp is designed to introduce football to our youngest players in a fun and safe environment. For our older campers, it is designed to help players reach maximum potential with specialized drills. Both camps will conclude with a flag football tournament on the game field on Friday.

The camp will cover the fundamentals of golf, putting, chipping, pitching, full swing and on-course experience. All students will receive video analysis that will be emailed to your inbox. Coach Tony McLeod, Varsity Girls Coach, will put on a Shooting/Competition Camp for rising 5th-8th Grade girls. This camp is geared for girls who have some basketball experience. During his time at Cumberland University, Coach McLeod served as the Women’s Basketball Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator. During his time at Cumberland, the team reached the NAIA National Tournament each season, including a National Championship appearance in 2007, where the team finished as the National Runner-Up. Coach McLeod has a passion for integrating his faith in the game of basketball. He serves as the Director of Girls Programming and Special Projects for Upward StarsNashville. In 2016, his team won the USSSA Division 1 National Championship. Coach McLeod was an assistant coach for four seasons at Ravenwood High School. Before that, he was the Head Boys Varsity Basketball Coach at McClain Christian Academy in Lebanon, TN.

Coach McKnatt graduated from Christian Brothers University with a BS in Business and received his teacher licensure from the University of Memphis. Coach McKnatt played basketball and baseball at C.B.U. and has been coaching for over twenty years. He led the 2013-2014 BGA boys basketball team to the state title. He is passionate about being a Christian role model to his players/students and providing servant leadership through athletics.

During the week, you will work on preparing a solo and group song to showcase what you’ve learned in a final performance at the end of the week!
