Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 Sometimes, just like the sea, our lives can be unpredictable with many avenues to explore and choices to make. The tide of life ebbs and flows, moves and stretches, throughout our varied experiences. I saw our production like this too, constantly moving and changing and flowing together like the sea, working towards a common goal, to glorify the Lord with our talents and work together in UNITY! I ask that you allow your imagination to lead you through this story about a father who is blinded by his love for his daughter and a daughter who will risk everything to pursue her dream and find true love! The love he has for his daughter is so great that he would do anything, even giving his own life for her. However, no matter how much we love someone, we can’t always protect them. Sometimes, we have to let them go and remember that God is in control and that He loves us!

Ariel is surrounded by people who help and support her. Without her team, she would have never recovered in the end. In the same way, this musical has been a team effort. The wonder of this production would not have been possible without every single person on the Production Team and Parent Volunteers. A big thank you to Ashley Clarke for being the glue that holds us all together and makes this run so smoothly. Thank you to Maggie Richardson for your beautiful choreography and attention to details in all production areas to help make this show excellent. Also, thank you to my husband Jason for being “super dad” at home!

Last, but not least, thank you to my loving students who have worked so hard and remind me daily why I love to do what I do, inspiring me as a person and helping me continually grow creatively.

I hope tonight you get swept away to another world in another time and go on this journey with us under the sea, and I pray you see the light of Jesus shine from the cast tonight as they give Him the glory for this performance.
