ADMINISTRATION

Mr. Robbie Mason is a graduate of Memphis State University with a B.S. in English. He also has a master’s degree from Trevecca University in Administration and Supervision, and his Educational Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from Union University. He and his wife, Dabney, have seven children.

Mr. Mason has taught subjects in every discipline, as well as serving as a High School Principal, Athletic Director, and Coach. For over fourteen years, he has served as Headmaster at Christian schools with enrollment of up to 900 students. A product of Christian education himself, Mr. Mason sees Biblically saturated education as not only a ministry, but as his passion.

ROBBIE MASON Head of School

Mr. Richard B. Anderson is a graduate of Tennessee Tech University, with a B.S. degree in English, and an M.A. degree in Educational Psychology and Guidance Counseling. He is also a graduate of Trevecca Nazarene University, with an M.Ed. degree in Administration and Supervision. He and his wife, Cindy, have three grown daughters and eight grandchildren.

Mr. Anderson has taught every grade from ďŹ fth grade through college psychology in public, private, and Christian schools. He has served as an Elementary Principal, a High School Principal, and a Headmaster. Mr. Anderson's love is to see current students, as well as alumni, walking in the Truth - III John 4.

RICHARD ANDERSON High School Principal

Mr. Len McKnatt graduated from Christian Brothers University with a B.S. in Business and received his teacher licensure from the University of Memphis. He and his wife, Haley, have two children, Mason and Maclaine, who both attend GCA. Len taught Accounting, Economics, and Personal Finance for nineteen years at Battle Ground Academy before joining GCA. Len has been at GCA since the 2014-2015 school year.

Len played basketball and baseball at C.B.U. and has been coaching for over twenty years. He led the 2013-2014 BGA boys basketball team to the state title and was an assistant coach on the 2012 baseball state title team. He is passionate about being a Christian role model to his playersstudents and providing servant leadership through athletics.

BEHIND THE SCENES

Dana has been a part of the GCA family for seven years. She has three children: Ansley in seventh grade, Ellie in fifth, and Mason in pre-k.

Dana coordinates volunteers for concessions and the ticket gate for home athletic events. She enjoys helping people plug in to GCA Athletics, as it is a great way to meet students and families while supporting our athletes! We are thankful for Dana and her service to ensure that our game days run smoothly.

The Valdez family has five children, with four at GCA (their youngest daughter Dianna, a junior, and their three boys: Grayeson in third grade, Jayden in second, and Caiden in kindergarten). This is their third year at GCA. Though none of their children are in the Athletics program at GCA, Shar wanted to get more involved in the school, and willingly jumped in when the Concessions job became available. Among her responsibilities, Shar manages our concessions inventory, purchasing, and menu. She loves the opportunity to meet so many parents, serve our school, have fun, become more familiar with the students, and work with the GCA Athletics staff. We are so thankful for her work and preparation behind the scenes to serve our GCA family in this way.
