Sophie et Sasha étaient amies. Elles partageaient le secret d’avoir trouvé une carte au trésor que Sasha avait trouvé dans la Tour Eiffel. Elles avaient pris le premier avion pour

Paris et elles étaient montées tout en haut de la Tour Eiffel.

Sophie and Sasha were friends. They shared a secret: Sasha had once found a treasure map in the Eiffel Tower. The girls had taken the first flight to Paris and climbed to the top of the Eiffel Tower.

La carte dit: «Tout en haut de Paris, un trésor tu trouveras.

Mais, tu devras trouver un ver de terre doré!» lut Sophie à haute voix.

The map says: "At the top of Paris, a treasure you will find. But, you will have to find a golden worm!" read Sophie out loud.

Le projecteur de la tour illumina la plate-forme et Sasha sursauta.

The tower's projector illuminated the plat-form and Sasha jumped aside.

- Le ver de terre doré!

- Beurk! s’exclama Sophie.

- Prends-le! dit Sasha.

“The golden worm!”

“Ewwww!” screamed Sophie.

“Take it!” said Sasha.

- Oui, mais voyons où il va, comme ça on pourra peut-être découvrir le trésor!

- C'est quand même bizarre, pas vrai, de trouver un ver de terre tout en haut de la Tour Eiffel, dit Sasha.

Sasha dirige Sophie vers une cabine, tout près du projecteur.

“Yes, but first let's see where it's going, then we'll maybe discover the treasure!”

“Isn't it weird that there's a worm at the very top of the Eiffel Tower?” asked Sasha.

Sasha guides Sophie towards a cabin, close to the projector.

Tout d’un coup, il se transforma en

un énorme serpent. La tour trembla.

Sophie prêta son couteau à Sasha, qui menaça le serpent.

- Prends mon couteau, je vais

chercher le trésor! hurla Sophie.

Suddenly, it transforms itself into a giant serpent. The tower shakes.

Sophie lends her knife to Sasha, who threatens the snake.

“Grab my knife, I'll go find the treasure!” shouted Sophie.

Sophie entra dans la cabine et vit un panneau qui disait: «Mon trésor tu trouveras sous la chaise.»

Sophie entered the cabin and saw a sign that said: “My treasure you will find underneath the chair.”

Sophie se dissimula sous la chaise et tomba dans une trappe

juste dessous. Quelques minutes plus tard, elle vit que Sasha

Êtait elle aussi tombÊe dans la trappe. Une lumière l'illumina et ...

Sophie crawled discretely under the chair and fell through a trap door just under it. A few minutes later, she saw that Sasha had also fallen through the trap. A light illuminated it and...

Les filles virent un panneau et des bijoux: «4000 tonnes d’or, de bijoux et de diamants.»

The girls saw another sign and jewels: 4000 tons of gold, jewels and diamonds.”

La semaine d’après, elles avaient déjà rédigé un article de deux pages pour le journal L’ Express.

A week later, the girls had already written a 2-page article for the newspaper L Express.

Je m’appelle Sasha, j’ai 11 ans.

Les couleurs sur ma photo sont le violet (le français), le bleu (l’anglais), le bleu foncé (l’espagnol), le rose (l’anglais 2), et l’hébreu en jaune.

Sophie a 10 ans et elle vit à Toronto. Elle aime voyager et parle français, anglais et apprend l’hébreu.
