EXCHANGE OF EXPERIENCES |

During their sophomore year, senior Mars Roberts hosted an exchange student. The two both ran cross country and Roberts reflects on a specific meet. “It was my best performance at a race and my exchange student (Lara) was able to be there,” Roberts said. “Everyone on the team did amazing at that race.”

One memorable moment for the group was the ninth grade orchestra trip to Nashville. “The cellos have been a second family the past four years,” Cosio said. “Some of my best memories from high school were with them.”

OWNING THE FIELD | Along with teamwork as a standout memory from the girls varsity soccer team, senior Ryleigh Ward recalls the team beating North’s rival, South, during her junior year. “It was an exciting moment winning against South and we worked hard,” Ward said. “It was the last North/South game for those seniors, and it was a moment to remember for them, as well as me.”

AN ANCIENT BEGINNING | With Toga Day being one of the most significant senior year traditions, senior Jenna McSkimming reminisces on the event. “This memory is important to me because it was one of our first senior memories for homecoming to start off the year,” McSkimming said. “We were all together as a class running the hallways.”

QUEEN BEE | During her final homecoming football game, senior Eleanor Bernas recived the honor of homecoming queen. “Winning homecoming queen was one of the best feelings I’ve ever experienced,” Bernas said. “North is so special to me, and I will always feel like a Norsewoman.”

INFINITE BONDS | As varsity sports held their senior nights, senior Ada Johnson elaborates on their significance. “[Senior night] was largely significant [to me] because it was my first time doing cheer at North,” Johnson said. “It was sad to leave, but I’ll forever have that bond with the team.”

HARD WORK DOESN’T STOP | Despite the obstacles that the senior class faced during float building, senior Andrew Sliwinski is proud of their finished product. “It showed how we worked hard for our float even [though] we didn’t win.” Sliwinski said.
