The glass is not fixed; DO NOT tip your product without securing the glass first.
The glass contained in your furniture is toughened glass, similar to the glass contained in your car windows and shower screens.
The instance of the glass shattering is extremely unlikely; however, toughened glass is actually designed to shatter into granular pieces when under stress. This is a safety feature to reduce the risk of injury, as it doesn’t shatter in large jagged pieces like normal glass. To significantly reduce the risk of the glass becoming damaged please follow the instructions below.
If you need to remove the glass for any reason e.g. cleaning, DO NOT lay the glass on hard or rough urfaces. Lay the glass on cardboard or a blanket. It is advised to remove the glass from the table when cleaning to ensure no cleaning products come into contact with the fabric.
When lifting or moving the tables ensure this is performed by two people.
DO NOT use the furniture if any parts are missing or broken - contact your retailer immediately.
DO NOT place very hot or cold items directly onto the glass, ensure you use appropriate mats and coasters. Extreme temperature differences can cause the glass to shatter.
DO NOT sit or stand on the glass suface.
DO NOT strike the glass with hard or pointed items.
Use place mats or coasters to protect the glass from scratches and accidentally dropped items.
DO NOT drag rough or heavy items across the glass surface.
Ensure glass is regularly cleaned to remove all traces of grit; which could cause the glass to become scratched.
The glass should only be cleaned using appropriate glass cleaner, DO NOT use washing powder or any other substances containing abrasives.
If the glass becomes damaged, it must not be used - please contact your retailer.
