Death certificates are one of the most important documents to have after the death of a loved one. Death certificates are provided by the local government office that registers deaths. Survivors will need official death certificates – simple photocopies are usually not adequate for most purposes – when applying for various death benefits such as veteran or union benefits. Death certificates are also needed when applying for pension and life insurance benefits, and other survivor benefits. Your attorney or funeral director can help you determine how many certificates you may need.
The cost varies from municipality to municipality, but is usually in the range of $12 per certificate. Usually it is less expensive to request all you need at one time. A funeral director can obtain the certificates for you, or you can obtain them directly yourself. Your funeral director can also assist you in filing for the various death benefits.

Russell Stadium at 6:30 p.m. Alumni not wanting to play but who would like to be a part of the band can meet in front of the stadium track at 6:40 p.m. The current and alumni members will be performing the THS Fight Song prior to the game. THS Band Director Tim Gilham said there will be some instruments available for use by alumni, including marching snare, a set of tenors, bass drums, tubas, concert baritones and a mellophone. Gilham can be contacted at the school by alumni to reserve those instruments.
