GETTING STARTED Download and set up your GPCC Phone App DOWNLOAD YOUR GPCC PHONE APP

MANAGING YOUR SUBSCRIPTIONS

To download the GPCC Phone App:

For some information that comes to the GPCC Phone App, you have the option to choose what Notifications you receive, depending on what your child is involved in.

1. Search 'GPCC' in your preferred App store, or click on the relevant button below.

2. Follow the prompts to download the GPCC Phone App. 3. Allow Notifications.

4. Once installed, open the App on your phone (look for the GPCC logo/icon).

5. Go into Settings to set up Subscriptions (see instructions on the right).

We recommend viewing all Subscription options and selecting all of the categories that are relevant to your child/ren. If categories are already selected, just deselect the ones that are not relevant to you.

Please ensure that you have selected either 'Primary', 'Secondary', or both depending on what year level your children are in.

To choose or change your Subscriptions: 1. Tap the 'Settings' icon in the bottom right corner of the App Home Page.

2. Click on ‘Subscriptions’.

3. Click into the relevant category.

4. View all Subscriptions and select any that your child is involved in.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Answers to common questions 1. HOW DO I LOG INTO THE PARENT LOUNGE MODULES? Use the same log in details as you normally would when logging into Parent Lounge online. This is a number specified by the College and your chosen password.

Contact us if you have forgotten your username number.

2. HOW OFTEN DO I NEED TO LOG IN TO PARENT LOUNGE?

The Parent Lounge modules (Parent Lounge, Absences, Events/Payments) will prompt you to log in every 90 days (approximately once a term).

The Parent Lounge website (via Helpful Links) requires you to log in every time. You can log out of the Parent Lounge modules whenever you like by clicking on 'Account Settings' from the App settings icon, then 'Sign Out'.

4. HOW SECURE IS THE APP? The GPCC Phone App has two parts, enabling us to send 3 varied types of information to different parts of the App: General and Co-Curricular Notices: These sections are used for general, whole-school notices and only include details that would also be published online. No private or sensitive information is sent to these parts of the App. Parent Lounge Section: Information that is sensitive or child-specific, or we would not otherwise publish online, appears in the Parent Lounge Notifications. You can only access this section of the app and receive these notifications if you are logged in using your personal Parent Lounge log in details.

3. HOW DO I VIEW A PAST EDITION OF THE NEWSLETTER? 1. Click on the ‘Newsletter’ icon from the App Home Page.

2. Click on the 3 lines in the top left corner of the screen.

3. Click on ‘Newsletter Archive’ and then browse to the Newsletter edition you wish to view.
