The transition into Secondary School is a significant milestone in a young person’s life. It is hard to fully quantify Green Point Christian College’s impact on myself and my life but it, no doubt, has been immense as I was there from Kindergarten until Year 12. Completing K–12 at Green Point Christian College was a pleasure, graduating as Dux and Prefect in 2019. GPCC’s caring, Christ-centred community made school feel like a second home. My pursuits were supported by excellent facilities and compassionate teachers who helped me excel. The wider school and church community also fostered a sense of belonging I feel lucky to have experienced. GPCC provided the foundation for me to complete a Doctor of Medicine at Macquarie University. I am optimistic that future students will take their valuable learnings from the College and shoot for the stars upon their own graduation.

A core understanding for us at Green Point Christian College is that lots of important learning happens outside the classroom and over the horizon. We therefore seek to provide a range of co-curricular opportunities for our students. These opportunities enrich and deepen the learning of our students and include our educational camps and excursions. They also include events like Model UN, debating, DaVinci decathlon, chess competitions and other co-curricular events.
The Arts
The College offers a range of opportunities for students interested in the arts. Students can access individual music tuition. We also have several bands and small
group ensembles. The College also hosts regular musical productions and participates in statewide events such as Wakakirri.
Sport
The College has a vibrant sporting program. Students participate in regular carnivals and other sporting activities. The College offers a range of representative opportunities through our membership of both the Christian Schools Sports Association (CSSA) and Combined independent Schools (CIS)
Service
A part of developing socially engaged students means providing opportunities to serve. This occurs in small but important ways within
the classroom and across the college. GPCC also have some structured partnerships with organisations across our Central Coast community. There are expansive service opportunities available for students to participate in, such as service trips to Brewarrina in outback NSW and internationally to Bali to partner with local Christian outreach organisations. INTERVIEW, TOUR & OFFER
For those eligible to begin school in the coming year an interview with the Head of School will be arranged prior to a letter of offer. At the Interview stage we will also offer you a College Tour so you can see our facilities and ask any questions you may have.
ORIENTATION & TRANSITION
In the months prior to your student starting school both parents and students are invited into a staged orientation and transition program. This is specially designed to support both students and parents, and to ease any nerves for those new to our College. For students starting in Years other than Kindergarten or Year 7 you will be invited into a tailored program to suit your needs.

CONNECTING YOU TO GREEN POINT
Students travel to Green Point Christian College from across the Central Coast with Bus Services connecting suburbs from as far north as Tuggerah and The Entrance, and Bus and Ferry Services connecting students from the Peninsula including
Umina, Ettalong and Woy Woy.
Timetables are available on the College website for Red Bus Services and Busways. Central Coast Ferries run regular morning and afternoon services from Woy Woy to Davistown.
The College is conveniently located between Gosford and the coastal communities, making our school a very popular choice for many families on the Central Coast.
