3D VIRTUAL WALKING TOURS OFFER UNIQUE VIEWS OF HISTORICALLY & CULTURALLY SIGNIFICANT GEORGIA LOCATIONS

GPB Education recently launched a new collection of 3D Virtual Walking Tours to enhance our existing robust collection of virtual field trips. Using cutting-edge technology, GPB has recreated the experience of walking through some of Georgia’s most historically and culturally significant locations, including the Little White House in Warm Springs, the Owens-Thomas House and Slave Quarters in Savannah, the National Prisoner of War Museum in Andersonville, New Echota, the Governor’s Mansion and more. Each tour offers a 360-degree view of the space and clickable hotspots to learn more about specific items.

“These 3D walking tours offer students a unique learning experience. The tours give students (and adults!) an opportunity to look around a museum or historical site from every angle without leaving their classroom or home. It’s the next best thing to actually being there – which we know is not always possible.”
