CELEBRATE PBS KIDS WRITERS CONTEST WINNERS
GPB Education celebrated the winners of this year’s PBS KIDS Writers Contest with a virtual ceremony held in late June. Winners were selected from hundreds of Georgia K-3 students who submitted original, illustrated stories for the chance to win great prizes and be featured on GPB’s website. This year’s celebration included special guest authors Laurel Snyder and Markette Sheppard.
A first, second and third place winner was selected for each grade. Each grade level also honored a STEAM winner in recognition of stories that best incorporate science, technology, engineering, arts, or mathematics.
