Day 1 | Fly to Fairbanks

We begin our adventure as we board our flight to Alaska. Arrive in Fairbanks where we’ll enjoy a delicious welcome dinner at the scenic and inviting Bear Lodge, our home for the next two nights. Meals: D

Day 2 | Fairbanks

Experience Alaska Native art, music, stories, and dance at the Morris Thompson Cultural Center. Alaska mining history comes alive as we tour the Tanana Valley gold fields. Feel the magic of the North Pole as we explore the Santa Claus house and visit Santa’s reindeer. Learn about Alaskan Huskies and the tradition of dog mushing at a husky training facility. Our evening concludes with an Alaskan salmon bake with fresh-caught seafood roasted over an open fire and served with delicious sides. Meals: B, D

Day 3 | Denali National Park

Today we travel to Denali National Park, a six-million-acre wild land boasting snowy mountaintops and wild animals. We’ll embark on the Denali Natural History Tour, focusing on the rich natural and cultural history of the park. This four-hour tour includes the Denali Bus Depot, the historic Savage Cabin, and finally ending at the rolling hills of Primrose Ridge. We’ll check into the Denali Bluffs Hotel, surrounded by wilderness splendor. Enjoy the evening on your own. Meals: B, L

Day 4 | Denali / Anchorage

Our first stop today includes the Denali Visitor Center, where we can explore exhibits, watch the park films, and talk with a park ranger. Just a few miles inside Denali National Park, we’ll make a stop at the quaint McKinley View Lodge with spectacular views of Mt. McKinley. Moving on, we head to the Musk Ox Farm. Enjoy a close-up experience with musk ox, a once-endangered animal that produces the finest wool in the world. Travel to Anchorage and spend the evening exploring on your own. Meals: B, L

Day 5 | Anchorage

We start exploring the “gateway to Alaskan adventure” with a city tour of Anchorage with highlights including the Balto statue, Mt. Susitna, Eisenhower Statehood monument, Resolution Park, and Ship Creek. The remainder of the day is yours to discover all that Anchorage has to offer. Meals: B

Day 6 | Seward / Train / Glacier Cruise

Climb aboard the Coastal Classic Train as we travel from Anchorage to Seward, winding along the steep mountains of the Chugach Range, with views of the scenic backcountry wilderness

and stunning glaciers. We’ll cruise through the glacier-carved fjords and view the abundant wildlife of Resurrection Bay and Kenai Fjords National Park, offering some of the best glacier viewing and whale watching opportunities in Alaska. Arrive at our hotel and spend the evening exploring Seward on your own. Meals: B, L

Day 7 | Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center / Alyeska

Immerse ourselves in the wildlife of Alaska at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. Savor a farewell lunch at the Alyeska Resort at the base of the Chugach Mountains. Climb aboard the Mt. Alyeska aerial tram to witness frosty views of the Turnagain Arm, hanging glaciers, and endless peaks deep into the Chugach Mountain range. Day 1 | Fly to Fairbanks

Today, we travel to Fairbanks, Alaska for the start of an incredible vacation. Upon arrival, we will transfer to the Bear Lodge, our home for the next two nights. Get acquainted as we gather together for an authentic Alaskan salmon bake. Meals: D

Day 2 | Fairbanks

Our day will begin with a trip down Discovery Lane to the riverboat landing for the famed MV Discovery III. From here, we will cruise the waters of the Chena River while enjoying stories of local legends like Felix Pedro and E.T. Barnett. The tour will also highlight a float plane demonstration and a visit to a recreated Athabaskan Village. This afternoon, we will enjoy lunch and a very exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the Trail Breaker Kennels, home of the late dog mushing champion, Susan Butcher. After meeting the dogs of the Iditarod, we’ll visit the Morris Thompson Cultural Center to experience Alaska Native art, music, and dance. Meals: B, L

Day 3 | Denali National Park

This morning we'll travel to Denali National Park and board the Tundra Wilderness for a 42-mile narrated tour. As we travel deep into Denali, keep your eyes open for bears, moose, caribou, Dall sheep, and the occasional sighting of a wolf. Enjoy some free time to explore the Denali Visitor Center. Meals: B, L

Day 4 | Talkeetna

We start our day at the Denali Rail Depot where we board the domed rail cars for breakfast and a scenic rail journey south to Talkeetna. Along the way, your rail host will provide history of the rail, insight to the mining projects, and information on the different ecosystems of Alaska. We will continue to enjoy the view of North America’s highest point while in the charming community of Talkeetna this evening. Meals: B, L

Day 5 | Anchorage / Seward

After a leisurely morning at the hotel, we will embark on a journey through the Matanuska & Susitna Valleys. We will arrive in Anchorage, Alaska’s largest city, for some time to stroll the many shops and museums on your own. This afternoon, we will travel south along the beautiful Cook Inlet & Turnagain Arm before setting course onto the Kenai Peninsula. After a visit to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, we’ll continue to Seward, Alaska to check into our hotel and enjoy our final night on land. Meals: B

Day 6 | Kenai Fjords Wildlife Cruise

After breakfast this morning, we’ll board a glacier and wildlife cruise into Kenai Fjords National Park. Explore the face of a glacier and enjoy opportunities to view seals, sea lions, whales, eagles, puffins, and more! Late this afternoon, our small sightseeing vessel will return to the dock, and we’ll transfer to the Celebrity Summit to begin our journey through Alaska’s Inside Passage. Meals: B, L, D

Day 7 | Hubbard Glacier

Today’s voyage takes us into Yakutat Bay and alongside the Tongass National Forest, followed by Disenchantment Bay and the impressive ice wall of Hubbard Glacier. The largest tidewater glacier in Alaska has a face that extends over 6.5 miles in length. Stand in awe as glacier ice may come crashing down into the ice-choked waters below at any moment. Meals: B, L, D

Day 8 | Juneau

Maneuver into the Gastineau Channel and dock in Alaska’s capital city, Juneau. Take advantage of the included Juneau walking tour highlighting Alaska's early days, mining and drilling history, and State Capitol Building. Other optional excursions include a tour of the Mendenhall Glacier, helicopter tour, or a trip to the top of Mt. Roberts on the aerial tram. Meals: B, L, D

Day 9 | Skagway

Visit the “Gateway to the Klondike Gold Rush”! This historic community still feels like an 1898 boom town. The voices coming from the saloons still echo in the air, while the legend of outlaw “Soapy Smith” lives on in stories. There’s an option to take the White Pass and Yukon Route Railway on an incredible climb 2,500 feet to the top of the renowned “Dead Horse Trail.” Meals: B, L, D

Day 10 | Icy Strait Point

Take a short walk from the ship’s dock to Hoonah, the largest Tlingit village in Alaska. Discover the locally carved totems and learn about Tlingit history, culture, arts, and dance. Icy Strait Point is centered around the restored salmon cannery, which now houses a museum, local arts and crafts shops, and restaurants offering freshly caught seafood. The beauty, grandeur, history, and people of the Icy Strait Point region offer a glimpse into the real Alaska. Meals: B, L, D

Day 11 | Ketchikan

Known as the “Salmon Capital of the World” and “Alaska’s First City”, Ketchikan is a vibrant seaside community. Today’s walking tour features stops at the Totems of Whale Park, historic Creek Street, and the Salmon Ladder. Optional flight-seeing tours of Misty Fjords are popular, as are the totem tours of Saxman Native Village. Meals: B, L, D

Day 12 | Inside Passage

Our final day on board will include views of the stunning British Columbia and Alaskan coast. Be on the lookout for humpback whales, orca, and dolphin. Meals: B, L, D

Day 13 | Travel Home

As dawn breaks, we’ll dock at Canada Place Pier. After the disembarkation process is complete, pass through Canadian customs before being transferred to the airport for our flight home. Meals: B

Day 1 | Fly to Las Vegas

We begin our American West journey where we’ll fly into Las Vegas, Nevada, and take in the views of the grand hotels as we cruise down the Strip. Learn about the history and impact of organized crime as we visit the Mob Museum. We’ll check into the distinctive Treasure Island Hotel and Casino, centrally located on the Strip.

Day 2 | Ethel M Chocolate Factory / Route 66

We’ll take a short drive to the Ethel M Chocolate Factory and Cactus Gardens, located in the heart of the desert. Grab a delicious treat and take a leisurely stroll through the cactus garden featuring over three acres of ornamental, cacti, and other succulents. We’ll get our “kicks on Route 66”, one of the most scenic drives in Arizona. We’ll stop in Seligman, known as the “birthplace of Historic Route 66” and is full of retro shops, diners, and motels. We’ll continue to Williams, Arizona, our home for the next two nights. Meals: B, D

Day 3 | Sedona

After breakfast at the hotel, we travel the breathtaking stretch of beauty on the winding Oak Creek Canyon Road with iconic red-rock buttes and oak-shaded canopies. Arriving in Sedona, the remainder of the afternoon is yours to explore on your own. Surrounded by stunning views of the red-rock buttes, Sedona is known for its vibrant arts scene, luxurious spas, and fine restaurants. Return to Williams, Arizona, for dinner on your own in the historic downtown district. Meals: B

Day 4 | Grand Canyon

Ride first class aboard the historic Grand Canyon Railway, arriving at the canyon's South Rim for lunch on your own while taking in the magnificent views of the vast Grand Canyon. We'll board the motoroach and make our way to the east end of Grand Canyon National Park, with plenty of photo stops along the way,

including a stop at the Desert View Watchtower with stunning views of the colorful sandstone rocks and flowing river below that carved out this natural wonder. In the late afternoon, we'll explore the Cameron Trading Post and enjoy a lovely dinner together. We'll end the day by traveling to Kayenta, the gateway to Monument Valley. Meals: B, D

Day 5 | Monument Valley

Monument Valley is one of the most majestic points on earth. This great valley boasts sandstone masterpieces that tower upwards, framed by scenic clouds casting shadows that roam the desert floor. The fragile pinnacles of rock are surrounded by miles of mesas and buttes, shrubs and trees, and windblown sand, all comprising the magnificent colors of the valley. We’ll learn much about this unique area and the Navajo Nation that makes up this tribal park by our own native guide. From Monument Valley, we’ll drive to Page, Arizona, passing through the best natural sights of iconic rock formations and pillars. Meals: B, L, D

Day 6 | Page / Lake Powell

We’ll walk to Horseshoe Bend where the vibrant waters of the Colorado River make a wide sweep around the orange and yellow sandstone bluff at the center. We’ll stop by the Glen Canyon Dam Visitors Center, which overlooks the placid blue waters of Lake Powell, and learn about the Colorado River and its role in settling the West. The remainder of the afternoon is yours to explore Page,

Arizona, on your own. The beautiful wave-like Antelope Canyon is nearby and is a recommended activity to pursue on your own. Admission with a certified tour guide is required to enter Antelope Canyon, so be sure to plan ahead and make your reservations online. Meals: B

Day 7 | Bryce Canyon National Park

Today we’ll travel to Bryce Canyon, a wonder of nature’s sculpted pillars of red, yellow, and brown limestone. From the Visitor’s Center, we’ll take a tour through Bryce Canyon to learn about the wildlife in the park and the geology of the hoodoos including the most famous, Thor’s Hammer. This geological wonder consists of a tall rock spire supporting a large rock on top. Later, we’ll check in to Ruby’s Inn, our home for the night. Meals: B, L

Day 8 | Zion National Park

We'll drive to Zion National Park via the spectacular Zion-Mt. Carmel tunnel. Zion National Park, located in Utah, is known for its steep red and hanging gardens. We’ll board an open tram that will take us past the park’s famous scenic wonders. See the Great White Throne, Watchman, Angel’s Landing, and Weeping Rock. We’ll head back to Las Vegas for the night where guests have the option to take in the longest running Cirque du Soleil show in Las Vegas, Mystere, with its high energy acrobatics, dramatic dance, and jaunty music. Day 9 | Travel Home

Day 1 | Travel to Boston

Off we go in search of the brilliant autumn foliage that the New England states are famous for. We’ll start our journey with a flight to Boston. After checking into our hotel, we’ll enjoy a get-acquainted dinner and the chance to meet your fellow travelers. Meals: D

Day 2 | Boston City Tour / Northampton

No city reflects our American heritage as much as Boston, and we begin by touring the “Cradle of Democracy.” See landmarks like the Old State House, the South Meeting House, Trinity Church, Boston Common and the Old North Church. Stop at Quincy Market to see Faneuil Hall, do some shopping, and find lunch. This afternoon, we’ll travel parallel the route Paul Revere took when he made his immortal ride to Lexington and Concord in 1775. Visit the Minuteman Statue and the Old North Bridge. Our day concludes when we arrive in Northampton, MA for a two-night stay. Meals: B, D

Day 3 | Historic Deerfield / Norman Rockwell Museum

Travel north to Historic Deerfield. Surrounded by gentle meadows, this 18th century colonial village speaks with quiet eloquence of New England’s rural past. Drink in the beauty of the Massachusetts countryside as we drive the Mohawk Trail through the Berkshire Mountains. Arrive in Williamstown and enjoy lunch near the campus of Williams College. In the afternoon, we’ll pay a visit to the Norman Rockwell Museum. Many of his paintings appeared on the cover of the Saturday Evening Post. Meals: B

Day 4 | Calvin Coolidge Site / Rock of Ages

Following the Connecticut River Valley, we’ll head for the Green Mountain State of Vermont. Visit the Calvin Coolidge Historic Site which celebrates the life of our 30th President. Enjoy lunch in the town of Hanover, NH near Dartmouth College. The afternoon drive takes us to Barre, VT, for a look at the mammoth Rock of Ages granite quarry that is famous around the world. Our day concludes when we check into our lodging in the heart of downtown Montpelier, Vermont’s capital city. Meals: B

Day 5 | Lake Champlain / Mount Mansfield Gondola

After a morning visit to the Vermont State House, we’ll be entertained at historic Morse Farm Sugarworks, where maple products have been produced for eight generations. We’ll view a slide show on Vermont’s most traditional occupation and enjoy tasty samples. Drive north to Burlington, VT for a scenic lunch cruise on Lake Champlain. Later, we’ll drive into the Green Mountains and ride the gondola to the top of Mount Mansfield, the highest peak in Vermont. We’ll travel back to Montpelier where the balance of the day at your leisure. Meals: B, L

Day 6 | Franconia Notch State Park / Lobster Bake

Travel east to cross the Connecticut River and enter the White Mountains of New Hampshire. This morning we’ll travel to Franconia Notch State Park. Following lunch, we embark on one of the most beautiful stretches of highway in New England, the famous Kancamagus Highway. We’ll continue to our hotel, the Ranch at Death Valley, a unique desert oasis surrounded by the awe-inspiring Death Valley National Park. After dinner, we’ll discover why Death Valley is named an International Dark Sky destination with some of the best stargazing in America. Day 4 | Death Valley National Park

We’ll explore the Mojave Desert with dramatic mountain ranges, dry riverbeds, great mesas, and towering sand dunes. See Badwater Basin, the lowest point in the western hemisphere. This surreal landscape of vast salt flats is a sight to behold where the concentrated salt deposits span as far as the eye can see. The Devil’s Golf Course’s rough, brown surface consists of salt darkened by dust, silt, and other mineral compounds. The rough texture is responsible for the name of this landscape in which “only the devil could play golf on such rough links.” We’ll tour the Harmony

Borax Works, an operation made famous for opening the Death Valley area by using large mule teams and double wagons to haul borax through the long overland route of Mojave. Day 3 | Royal Gorge Bridge & Railroad

Departing Colorado Springs, our first destination is a breathtaking one as we stop to view the Royal Gorge of the Arkansas River. Travel to Antonito where we board the historic Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad. This historic route was the original Rio Grande line through the Rockies and once carried precious metals over the Cumbres Pass. Day 5 | Mesa Verde National Park

Take a step back in time today and visit Mesa Verde National Park. Located in the southwest corner of Colorado, Mesa Verde offers a look at remarkably preserved cliff dwellings and pit houses. These were the homes of the Pueblo Indians prior to 1300 AD. As we enjoy the scenic wonders around us, a park guide will add insight into the evolution of the Pueblo culture. Wake up to breathtaking views from your hotel balcony and enjoy a relaxing walk along the beach. Dive into adventure at the Oregon Coast Aquarium, home to some of Oregon’s most unique wildlife and experiences. Visit the playful sea otters, shake hands with a moon jelly, hug an urchin, and get splashed by a puffin. Browse the bayfront shops and museums of Newport and enjoy lunch on your own. We’ll visit the majestic Yaquina Head Lighthouse watching over offshore fishing boats, surfers, and nesting sea birds. Today we’ll drive down the Oregon coast where each bend in the road offers spectacular landscape views. Visit Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area, where the mist-shrouded dunes, forest, and ocean create a rare and hauntingly beautiful view. Adventure awaits as we ride the specially built off-road vehicle to climb to the top of these golden dunes. We’ll enjoy a seafood lunch in the fishing port of Florence before continuing our drive along the striking beach loop in historic Bandon to see the Bandon Rocks and Face Rock, famous for their American Indian legends. The Old West comes alive before your eyes during the world’s only twice-daily Longhorn cattle drive as drovers herd these large beasts down the middle of Exchange Avenue. After breakfast we will enjoy a live performance by the famous Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square. This weekly broadcast will not disappoint. Day 3 | Yellowstone National Park / Old Faithful

This morning our route will take us north as we travel just to the west of the stunning Teton mountain range and through the gorgeous Targhee National Forest. We’ll make a short stop in the small town of West Yellowstone. Then, it will be time for us to enter Yellowstone National Park and explore its countless wonders. We’ll stop to see the most famous geyser of them all, Old Faithful. We’ll have the opportunity to walk along the boardwalk and explore the largest collection of hydrothermal features in the world. After a memorable visit to Old Faithful, we’ll journey north to witness more incredible geothermal activity at the Fountain Paint Pots. Return to West Yellowstone where we’ll check into our home for two nights. You’ll be perfectly situated to explore the town, relax, and enjoy dinner on your own. Meals: B

Day 4 | Yellowstone National Park / Wildlife Safari

Start the day with a visit to the Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center where we’ll have the opportunity to experience the world of grizzly bears and gray wolves in Yellowstone. Explore the many museum exhibits at your leisure. We’ll also have time to visit the IMAX theater and see the film, “Yellowstone.” This film provides entertaining insight into the majestic scenery, wildlife, and sounds of the park. Later this afternoon we’ll enjoy a unique Yellowstone excursion. After dividing into smaller groups accompanied by a local naturalist, we will venture back into Yellowstone National Park. Magnificent sights await us at Mammoth Hot Springs and as we continue east into the Lamar Valley. Gather for a picnic dinner as we watch the start of a beautiful sunset. Dusk is prime time to see wildlife in the park, so be on the lookout for bison, elk, moose, and perhaps a bear or wolves. After a memorable excursion, we will return to West Yellowstone to get some rest. Meals: B, D

Day 5 | Grand Canyon of Yellowstone / Grand Tetons

Today we’ll see the magnificent Grand Canyon of Yellowstone and its thundering waterfall, the most breathtaking sight inside of the park. We’ll continue along the Yellowstone River through the Hayden Valley where herds of bison roam free. Enjoy views of Lake Yellowstone and the surrounding mountains along the way. Shortly after exiting Yellowstone, we will enter Grand Teton National Park. There is no doubt that we’ll marvel at the views as we stop for photos during our afternoon tour. A stop at Jenny Lake will be the perfect opportunity to take pictures and marvel

at the Teton’s jagged peaks. Later, we’ll check into our rooms at the Jackson Lake Lodge for two nights. Tonight, dinner is served in the famous Mural Room. Meals: B, D

Day 6 | Leisure Time / Jackson Lake Dinner Cruise

This is a beautiful place to wake up! There are several activities available for guests of the lodge and we have left the morning open should you decide to participate. Fishing, hiking, boating, horseback riding or floating the Snake River on a raft are some of the options. Others may decide to spend the day at the resort’s pool! Today we’ll travel along the picturesque Howe Sound on the Sea to Sky Highway on our way to Whistler, British Columbia. At Stawamus Chief Provincial Park, keep your binoculars handy to spot rock climbers scaling these gigantic granite monoliths that overlook the teal blue waters of Howe Sound. This world-renowned rock-climbing destination is also a critical nesting habitat for the endangered Peregrine falcon. At the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Center, experience distinctive carved house posts, canoes, spindle whorls, weavings, regalia, bold artwork, and artifacts of the First Nations. Learn about the First Nations’ intimate connection with the land during an interpretive forest walk via the Salish Stroll. We begin our travels today heading to Waterton Lakes National Park. We’ll visit the UNESCO Heritage site, Head-SmashedIn Buffalo Jump, located where the foothills of the Rocky Mountains meet the Great Plains. This bison jump highlights the sophisticated hunting tactics the Indigenous Plains tribes used to corral the bison using natural barriers including coulees, hills, and cliffs to drive the animals over the precipice. In Waterton Lakes National Park, the prairies of Alberta meet the peaks of the Rocky Mountains. This national park boasts clear lakes, thundering waterfalls, rainbow-colored streams, striking mountain vistas, and diverse wildlife. Waterton packs a big natural punch into a relatively small area. Day 3 | Glacier National Park

We’ll travel to Montana to stunning Glacier National Park, a paradise showcasing melting glaciers, alpine meadows, carved lakes, and spectacular views. Climb aboard the famous Glacier

We’ll ride along the “Going-to-the Sun” Highway and climb our way to the top of the Continental Divide at Logan Pass. Day 3 | The Golden Circle / Icelandic Horses

Today we will be immersed in the rugged beauty of Iceland as we travel around the famous Golden Circle. We’ll begin at Thingvellir National Park, where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates meet. Icelanders gathered here in AD 930 and established one of the world’s first parliaments. We’ll continue on and experience the breathtaking force of Iceland’s geysers as we visit Geysir and Strokkur. Afterwards, we’ll be inspired by the power and beauty of Gulfoss Waterfall. Our final stop for the day will be at Fridheimar Farm. This family run operation showcases the skill required to grow tomatoes year-round, despite cold weather and little sunlight. Our visit will also include an opportunity to meet the famous Icelandic horses. We’ll return to Reykjavik where the remainder of the evening is free to relax or explore the city. Meals: B

Day 4 | Seljalandsfoss / Skógafoss

This morning we’ll visit the Hellisheidi Power Plant, the secondlargest geothermal power station in the world. We’ll learn how Icelanders harness the energy underneath the earth to provide power to the country. Afterwards, we’ll drive along the southern coast of Iceland and stop to marvel at the beauty of Seljalandsfoss waterfall. The grandeur of Iceland will continue as we visit Skógafoss waterfall, one of the largest in the country. We’ll also stop at the Skógar Folk Museum, which includes artifacts that showcase the history of rural living and survival. Tonight our home will be just outside the secluded, small town of Kirkjubæjarklaustur, where we’ll be surrounded by peaceful mountains. Day 5 | Jökulsárlón Glacial Lagoon / Skaftafell

The landscape will change rapidly this morning as we continue east to the Jökulsárlón glacial lagoon. This incredible site includes blue water and floating icebergs. We’ll further immerse ourselves in the beauty as we put on our life jackets and explore the lagoon via boat. Our next stop will be Skaftafell, home of the largest glacier in Europe and Iceland’s highest mountain. Our journey back to Reykjavik will begin today, but not before taking in more of Iceland’s beauty. Day 1 | Travel to Halifax

Depart from home and fly to the province of Nova Scotia. Halifax will be our destination today and upon arrival, we’ll board a motorcoach and transfer to our home for two nights, located in the heart of town. Enjoy dinner tonight with your fellow travelers in anticipation of the good times ahead. Meals: D

Day 2 | Halifax

A morning tour will reveal a city that has grown from its beginnings as a colonial fort into a city that serves as the heart of the Atlantic Provinces. See historic downtown, St. Paul’s Church, the Victorian Gardens, and the Citadel, a hilltop fortress that dominates the city. Learn about the famous Halifax explosion and the town’s connection to the Titanic disaster. The afternoon and evening will be at your leisure. Explore the historic waterfront, an area filled with restaurants, shops, and attractions. Meals: B

Day 3 | Peggy’s Cove / Lunenburg / Bay Ferry

This morning, we’ll visit the picturesque Peggy’s Cove Lighthouse, set against the weathered rocks and beautiful ocean waters. We’ll travel to nearby Lunenburg, a charming fishing village and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the distinctive waterfront, colorful buildings, and unique architecture while you enjoy lunch. Our journey continues to Fort Anne at Annapolis Royal, one of the most fought-over locations in history and Canada’s oldest National Historic Site. Afterwards, we’ll take an evening ferry to St. John, New Brunswick, and check into our hotel. Meals: B, D

Day 4 | Bay of Fundy / Prince Edward Island

Today we journey through Fundy National Park along the Bay of Fundy coast and visit Hopewell Cape, home to fantastic rock formations that have been carved by the action of the highest tides in the world. Travel to beautiful Prince Edward Island by crossing over the longest, continuous multi-span bridge in the world, the famous Confederation Bridge. We’ll continue on to Charlottetown, the birthplace of Canada, for a two-night stay. Meals: B, D

Day 5 | Charlottetown / Island Tour

A morning tour will include city highlights such as Province House and Victoria Park. We’ll also explore the lush and green countryside of this beautiful island. Beginning in Cavendish, we’ll visit Prince Edward Island National Park which is renowned for its red sandstone cliffs, fine white sand beaches, dunes, and lush green fields. It was the scenery of this area that inspired Lucy Maud Montgomery to write “Anne of Green Gables”, and we’ll visit the fabled Green Gables house. The evening is at your leisure in Charlottetown where opportunities abound for dining and entertainment. Meals: B

Day 6 | Cape Breton Island

This morning, catch the ferry for a scenic ride to Caribou, Nova Scotia. Travel past New Glasgow and Antigonish to the Canso Causeway as we cross over to Cape Breton Island. Here you will discover the Scotland of North America. We continue on to the village of Baddeck where we visit the Alexander Graham Bell Museum. Our lodging for two nights is located on the shore of the majestic Bras d’Or Lake. Meals: B, D

Day 7 | Driving the Cabot Trail

Conde Nast magazine rated Cape Breton as one of the Top 10 most beautiful islands in the world, and the famous Cabot Trail as one of the world’s greatest scenic routes. It runs through lochs and glens settled by Highlanders from Scotland, and along scenic coastlines settled by Acadians. You will travel through Cape Breton Highlands National Park along the way. This afternoon we’ll stop to enjoy a picnic lunch. As you learn about the history of this beautiful island, have your camera ready for the spectacular opportunities to take photos along the way. Day 8 | Travel Home

Day 2 | Amsterdam

Upon arriving in Amsterdam, we’ll meet our local guide and travel to Zaanse Schans, a recreated Dutch village with historic windmills and distinctive green wooden houses. Discover the Rijkmuseum showcasing artwork by Rembrandt, Vermeer, and Van Gogh. We’ll board the MS Symphonie, an intimate-sized ship with a lively atmosphere, a refined restaurant, large bay windows, a lounge/bar with dancefloor, and a spacious sun deck. Meals: D

Day 3 | Amsterdam

Cruise the picturesque canals of Amsterdam, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to see the famous gabled houses, the city’s iconic bridges, and stately 17th century historic buildings. Stroll through the beautiful Keukenhof Gardens during the stunning tulip season with fields of fragrant, blooming tulips, daffodils, and hyacinths. Enjoy an evening of dancing in the ship’s lounge. Day 4 | Nijmegen

Visit the Netherlands Open-Air Museum in Arnhem, focusing on the everyday life of Dutch people including old homes, farms, and factories. Play with toys from the 1800s, sample the puffy minipancakes dusted with powdered sugar, or hike the park’s steps to get an aerial view of the museum. Day 5 | Cologne / Koblenz

We’ll take a guided tour of Cologne and see the tallest twin-spire church in the world. This Gothic masterpiece took seven centuries to complete, and houses oak-carved choir stalls, hand-painted choir screens, and outstanding stained-glass windows. Stroll the streets of Old Town and pass by the famous Farina Fragrance Museum. Meals: B, L, D

Day 6 | Koblenz / Mainz

We’ll take a walking tour of Mainz, known for its old town, with half-timbered houses and medieval market squares. We’ll stroll the picturesque streets to the Romanesque Mainz Cathedral, built of deep red sandstones. Tour the Gutenberg Museum honoring the inventor of the printing press with exhibits including two of his original bibles. Meals: B, L, D

Day 7 | Strasbourg / Breisach

After arriving in Strasbourg, we’ll take a boat tour of this striking city with its unique mix of architecture including traditional structures next to bold, modern designs. Tonight, we’ll gather for a festive gala evening on board the ship with a delectable dinner and drinks. Meals: B, L, D

Day 8 | Breisach / Basel

We’ll take a guided tour of Colmar, a colorful city bursting with charm. Spend time in romantic Little Venice with its labyrinth of cobbled lanes, flower-lined canals, and timber-framed houses painted in a rainbow of pastel hues. We’ll visit the Unterlinden Museum with exhibits spanning 7000 years including its collection of polyptych altarpiece panels. Meals: B, L, D

Day 9 | Basel

After disembarking, we’ll enjoy a brief city tour of Basel by coach

and visit the “die Markthalle”, Basel’s famous street food market. Travel by deluxe motorcoach to Lucerne where we’ll take a walking tour with a local guide to see the Lion’s Monument, the Medieval streets, the ornate patrician houses of the walled Old Town, and the famous wood-covered bridge of Lucerne. Day 10 | Lucerne

Today we’ll discover why Lucerne is considered one of the most charming cities in the world with a boat trip on Lake Lucerne. Climb to the top of Mount Rigi aboard the historic cogwheel railway, Rigi Bahnen. Relax in the beautifully restored carriages while enjoying the spectacular panoramic views of the snow-capped Alps, colorful wildflower meadows, and glimmering Lake Lucerne. Descend Mount Rigi via cogwheel train and cable car. Gather for a farewell dinner at the famous Stadtkeller restaurant and enjoy a folklore show including Swiss music, yodeling, and dancing. Day 4 | Copenhagen

Enjoy the pastoral views of southern Sweden from a high speed train in Copenhagen. Tonight we visit the iconic Tivoli Gardens. with its nostalgic carnival rides, colorful flowers, artistic performances, and culinary delights at more than 30 restaurants. Meals: B

Day 5 | Copenhagen

During our guided tour of the "City of Beautiful Spires", we’ll explore the Nyhavn neighborhood, a 17th century waterfront district lined with brightly colored houses. We’ll visit the Danish Resistance Museum and learn about the difficult choice the Danes faced during the German occupation. On your own, feel free to walk the Stroget, one of Europe’s longest pedestrian shopping streets, or visit the Glyptotek Museum. Meals: B

Day 6 | Danish Countryside / Ferry

Today we travel the Danish countryside to see its thatch-roofed houses and fields of poppies. Visit Frederiksborg Castle, known as the Versailles of Denmark. We’ll enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before heading back to Copenhagen for a relaxing overnight ferry to Oslo. Enjoy dinner onboard this modern and spacious ferry. Meals: B, L, D

Day 7 | Oslo

Awake to views of the Oslo fjord. Upon arrival, we’ll tour Oslo with a local guide and visit the Fram Museum, exploring the historic polar expeditions. We’ll make a stop at Frogner Park, home to the Vigeland sculptures, one of Norway’s most-visited attractions with over 200 sculptures. Enjoy lunch at the Holmenkollen Ski Jump and take in the panoramic view of the fjord below. We’ll return to Oslo’s city center for an evening on your own. Meals: B, L

Day 8 | Alesund / Geiranger

After breakfast, we’ll transfer to Oslo airport for our flight to Alesund, a city known for the art nouveau architectural style in which most of the town was rebuilt after a fire in 1904. Alesund is a charming, quiet town made up of several islands linked together by bridges and tunnels offering spectacular views of the waterways. We’ll continue our travels to the village of Geiranger, often considered the jewel in Norway’s crown of fjords. Meals: B, D

The astounding scenery continues as we drive to the Mount Dalsnibba plateau to take in incredible views of Geirangerfjord, snow-capped mountains, and powerful waterfalls pouring down steep lush mountainsides. Spend the rest of the day exploring this

charming village's Norwegian sweater shops and cafes or relax at the hotel taking in the stunning views. Meals: B, D

Day 10 | Geiranger / Balestrand

This morning, we’ll explore Geirangerfjord by ferry to see the impressive Seven Sisters Waterfalls. We’ll ride along the winding shores of the Nordfjord, passing rushing rivers, grazing sheep, and idyllic villages. Visit the Fjaerland Glacier Museum, an awardwinning, hands-on museum focused on the nearby glaciers and area’s climate. Enjoy a walking tour of Balestrand to see its famous English church and an ancient Viking burial mound before enjoying dinner at a local cider house. Meals: B, D

Day 11 | Balestrand / Bergen

In the morning, we’ll take an exhilarating ride through the Sognefjord by RIB boat to get close to the idyllic scenery for which this fjord is famous. Next, visit the Hopperstad Stave Church built in 1130, the Viking era. Enjoy lunch at Stalheim Hotel before continuing to Bergen. Enjoy dinner on your own in Bergen, where the summer days are long, and the weather is warm. Meals: B, L

With a city guide, experience a walking tour of Bergen, a city surrounded by mountains, fjords and featuring colorful wooden houses along the old wharf . Take in the panoramic views of Rome and the Vatican City atop the Terrazza del Pincio before visiting the Piazza del Popolo with its main cathedral, Egyptian obelisk, and decadent cafes and restaurants. Day 3 | Rome

Take a walking tour of ancient Rome starting with the impressive Colosseum. Imagine yourself in Roman antiquity as you review the Doric, Ionic and Corinthian columns that surround the amphitheatre. Walk along the Via Sacra, the main road leading to to the Roman Forum and the ruins of ancient government buildings. Today we take a guided tour of Vatican City, where we’ll visit the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel, St. Peter’s Basilica and

Day 5 | San Gimignano / Wine Tasting Dinner

Today’s first stop is San Gimignano, a small walled medieval town perched between the rolling hills of Tuscany, surrounded by green fields and vineyards. Discover this charming town on your own, taking in the history, culture, and art. Don’t forget to treat yourself to some gelato in Piazza della Cisterna, the town’s square. Day 6 | Florence

We enjoy a guided walking tour of Florence, birthplace of the Renaissance and home to many of the world’s greatest artistic treasures. See the Piazza del Duomo, Baptistery dedicated to St. John the Baptist, Piazza della Repubblica, and Piazza della Signoria. No trip to Italy is complete without a stop at the renowned Galleria dell’Accademia to see Michelangelo’s famous statue of David. Day 7 | Verona / Padua

Today we travel to fair Verona, a UNESCO World Heritage city, made famous as the setting of Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet.” Verona is a romantic, elegant, and thriving city waiting to be explored. During the guided walking tour, we will see the Arena, Juliet’s balcony, and the Duomo. We’ll continue to Padua for our overnight stay. Meals: B

Day 8 | Venice

Today we will visit enchanting Venice, traveling by boat to San Marco Square with its waterfront palaces, iconic red-brick Bell Tower, and lavishly decorated facades. We move on to the Byzantine Basilica of Saint Mark, Doge’s Palace, and Bridge of Sighs. Enjoy a Gondola ride through the famous canals, capturing the romance and atmosphere of the “Floating City.” Enjoy the afternoon on your own exploring the winding canals, Rialto Bridge, elegant shops, and many art galleries and museums. Arrive at the Milan airport where we'll meet our local driver and tour escort. We start our Italian journey at the Piazza del Duomo with the impressive Galleria Vittori Emanuele and the splendid Duomo di Milano, a behemoth gothic cathedral with an elaborate façade. We’ll stroll among the cathedral’s spires and take in the amazing views of the city. We'll have some time to relax at the hotel before enjoying a welcome dinner together. Meals: D

Day 3 | Milan / Genoa / Santa Margherita Ligure

Enjoy a guided walking tour through Genoa and discover why it remains an under-the-radar gem with its noble family palaces, splendid architecture, and frescoed ceilings. Take a boat cruise to experience Genoa’s beautiful landscape from the sea. We travel south to the charming village of Santa Margherita Ligure with breathtaking views of the Costa dei Delfini, located on one of the most famous stretches of the Riviera. The seafront is the main attraction, with its beach, lively harbor and promenade, picturesque palm trees, grand buildings, and brightly colored houses. Meals: B, D

Day 4 | Santa Margherita Ligure / Cinque Terre

After breakfast, we'll explore Cinque Terre by train and on foot. Cinque Terre consists of five coastal villages dotted along

the rocky coastline with terraced hillsides and vineyards sloping steeply down to the sea. Travel by train to the quaint villages of Riomaggiore, Vernazza and Monterosso, where we’ll soak up the atmosphere of these charming, pastel-colored villages with their beautiful scenery, little harbors and outstanding seafood. After a splendid day, we return to Santa Margherita for the night. Meals: B

Day 5 | Pisa / Florence

Known worldwide for its four-degree lean, the Leaning Tower of Pisa is a fantastic photo opportunity. We continue to Florence, birthplace of the Renaissance and home to some of the world’s greatest artistic treasures. We’ll enjoy a walking tour starting with the Piazzo del Duomo and Baptistery. We’ll make stops at Piazza della Repubblica, Piazza Della Signoria, and Basilica di Santa Croce, burial place for Michelangelo, Machiavelli, and Galileo. We become “true Italians” as we make authentic, fresh Italian pasta during a hands-on cooking class. Tantalize our tastebuds with a delicious meal of hand-made pasta dishes, appetizers, dessert, and wines. Meals: B, D

Day 6 | Florence / Volterra / Castellani in Chianti

No trip to Florence is complete without visiting the Galleria dell’Accademia to see Michelangelo’s famous statue of David. Enjoy some time for lunch before we leave for Castellani in Chianti. We’ll join a local guide to visit the hilltop town of Volterra to discover the Etruscan walls and gates, the Piazza and Palazzo dei Priori, the Palazzo Pretorio, and Cathedral of Santa Assunta. We’ll conclude this enchanting tour with an Alabaster carving demonstration and learn about this craft. Enjoy a delicious Tuscan dinner with your fellow travelers. Meals: B, D

Day 7 | Castellani in Chianti / Siena

Step back to medieval Tuscany as we visit Siena, the UNESCO World Heritage Site, known worldwide for the famous Palio horse race run twice a year in shell-shaped Piazza del Campo. The walking

tour will also highlight the Fonte Gaia, the largest fountain of the city, and the impressive Piazza del Duomo, with the magnificent Cathedral, Crypt and lavishly decorated Piccolomini Library. After some time at leisure in Siena, we will return to Castellani in Chianti for a wine tasting including a sampling of cheeses and cured meats. Meals: B

Day 8 | Castellani in Chianti / Assisi / Rome

Travel to Assisi, birthplace of St. Francis, who founded the Franciscan religious order here in 1208. Travel to Vatican City to tour the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel, St. Peter’s Basilica and Square, and the Pieta. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

When should I make my reservation?

Once you have decided on a tour, we suggest making your reservation as soon as possible to ensure availability. Many of our tours sell out shortly after they are released to the public.

How are air reservations handled?

We offer a limited number of main cabin seats on our group airfare out of Minneapolis/St. Paul airport. If you are departing from another location, our team is happy to create a custom air schedule for you, or you may choose to meet the group at our destination. Book early for best selection and pricing.

Can I extend my stay before or after the tour?

Yes. Pre and post-tour extensions are available for most tours. Contact us for more information if you are thinking about extending your stay.

Are triple accommodations offered?

Yes. Some hotels offer a rollaway bed at additional cost, although we are unable to guarantee availability in advance, so two travelers may be required to share a queen or double bed. This may not be comfortable for three adults. Contact us for triple pricing for your desired trip.

I’m nervous about traveling solo.

With Landmark Tours, traveling solo doesn’t mean you will be traveling alone. You’ll share your trip with like-minded travelers who are all excited to see and explore, just like you! On a Landmark tour, you can feel safe knowing the details are covered, and you’ll enjoy many experiences that might be difficult to do on your own.

Can you assist in finding me a roommate?

Of course! If you are a single traveler interested in finding a roommate for the trip, we can coordinate pairing you with an additional traveler if one is found. We will never finalize the double reservation until you have had the opportunity to thoroughly discuss the matter with your prospective roommate.

Why do single travelers have to pay more?

If you are traveling by yourself, the costs of hotel accommodations are incurred by one person instead of two. Therefore, single accommodations cost more than “double” and “triple” packages.

What kind of hotels do you book?

We understand the importance of quality accommodations and personally select each hotel with a focus on cleanliness, comfort, and location. We’re proud to list the names and cities of the hotels being used in each tour.

How many beds are in each room?

Double occupancy rooms will have two beds.

What do the hotels serve for breakfast?

Typical breakfasts include a selection of breads, jam, cereal, fruits, coffee, tea, milk, and juice. Most also include eggs, meats, pastries, and yogurt. On occasion, a bagged breakfast or a cooked to order breakfast will be served.

What is typical for an included dinner?

Dinner will vary depending on our location. Most dinners offer a choice of entrée with selections made at the dinner table or selected ahead of time. In order to accommodate a variety of preferences and dietary requirements, or to facilitate a busy schedule, some dinners are served buffet-style.

How is seating arranged on the motorcoach?

Seating is assigned and a rotation system is used. Each day our guests will occupy a different seat. You’ll always be seated next to your traveling partner. In order to provide a fair experience for all passengers, we are unable to accept special seating requests and appreciate your participation.

Is there a restroom on the motorcoach?

Yes, although we plan our tours so that the typical time between restroom stops is not longer than two hours.

is

the pace of a tour?

For your convenience, we have assigned Activity Levels to each tour. This is noted on each individual tour page next to the price listing. Please reference our Terms & Conditions for additional details and an explanation of each level.

How much time will I spend on the motorcoach?

Each tour day varies depending on the itinerary and the number of miles that are involved. Morning departures generally range from 8:00am to 9:00am. Hotel arrivals are scheduled anywhere from 3:00pm to 6:00pm.

Will I need to carry my own luggage?

Whenever luggage service is available at a hotel, it will be included. Occasionally, guests will have to wheel luggage in and out of a hotel.

Are airline baggage fees included?

Due to airline group booking constraints, we are unable to prepay baggage fees. This will be the responsibility of each traveler to be paid at check-in. This can be best handled by credit card.

REAL ID Requirement:

Beginning May 7, 2025, you will need a state-issued REAL ID compliant license or identification card, or another acceptable form of ID (such as a U.S. Passport), to fly within the United States. Visit www.tsa.gov for a list of acceptable forms of ID.

Do I need a passport?

For all trips outside of the United States, a U.S. Passport Book will be required to cross the border whether travel is by land, air, or sea. We do not accept passport cards. U.S. Customs suggests that your passport’s expiration date be no sooner than six months after your travel ends. Passport cards are not acceptable for international air travel.

May I bring a wheelchair, walker, or other walking assistance device?

Foldable wheelchairs and walkers are welcome on tour. They are not permitted onboard the motorcoach and will be stored in the baggage compartment underneath. If you intend to bring a wheelchair or walker, please notify us prior to departure. Landmark Tours personnel and its suppliers are unable to lift or physically assist guests. If you require assistance, we require that you be accompanied by someone who is capable of and totally responsible for providing the assistance.

Are tips included?

Tips are included in the tour package for all activities prearranged by Landmark Tours. This includes hotel staff, restaurants, and additional included services such as step-on guides. Tipping for any independent meals or activities will be the responsibility of the traveler.

Tips for the Tour Manager and Motorcoach Driver are not included in the tour package. You are encouraged to express your appreciation for their work and contribution to your overall enjoyment of the trip.

What will I receive prior to my tour?

Your Final Travel Documents will be mailed approximately three weeks before your departure. Documents include the tour itinerary, departure and flight details, hotel information, clothing and packing suggestions, baggage tags, and other helpful hints.

Where do I meet the Tour Manager?

The exact meeting point will be indicated in your Final Travel Documents packet. All travelers flying from Minneapolis/St.Paul will meet their Tour Manager prior to check-in and will fly with them to the destination city.

Tour Inclusions: Please review individual tour itineraries to learn what is included in our tour package price. Services not explicitly mentioned in Landmark Tours, Inc. brochures are not included. Furthermore, additional costs not included in the tour package price are fees associated with air carriers, such as seat upgrades/ changes, checked luggage fees, and airline fuel surcharges.

Changes to Tour Itinerary: Landmark Tours, Inc. will make every effort to operate tours as advertised. Under special circumstances, Landmark Tours, Inc. reserves the right to make changes to the itinerary to ensure proper handling of the tour. These changes can include, but are not limited to, schedule changes and changes in hotels and attractions. Any additional expense as a result for these changes will be paid by Landmark Tours, Inc. Any savings due to changes will be refunded to Tour Guests.

Airline Services & Responsibility: All airfare included in a Landmark Tours, Inc. package or purchased by Landmark Tours, Inc. is subject to the Terms & Conditions of each individual airline. By reserving airfare through Landmark Tours, Inc., each Tour Guest understands that Landmark Tours, Inc. is acting as an agent and is not liable for injury, accident, death, sickness, damage or loss of property, flight delay, cancellation or extra expenses related to an airline carrier. All airline carriers are independent contractors and are not affiliated with Landmark Tours, Inc., even if Landmark Tours, Inc. has purchased or arranged the airfare. The passenger contract used by the air carriers is the only contract between airlines and Tour Guest.

Included Hotels, Restaurants, & Attractions: The tours are arranged and operated by Landmark Tours, Inc. Landmark Tours, Inc. acts only as an agent for third parties providing services for a tour. Landmark Tours is not liable for any injury, damage, loss or accident, delay or irregularity, or failure to carry such arrangement as mentioned.

Baggage Handling: Landmark Tours, Inc. is not liable for any loss of luggage, theft or damage sustained while being handled by an airline, hotel, bus company, taxi / limo service or other. Responsibility of individual airlines is stated in their passenger contract. To learn about protecting your baggage, see the Guest Protection Plan.

Luggage Requirements & Allowance: Due to space limitations on the motorcoach, we allow one suitcase for each Tour Guest. Most airlines require that checked luggage not exceed 50 lbs per suitcase (heavier luggage may result in additional airline fees). Furthermore, please limit carry on luggage to items needed during the day. There is additional overhead storage on the motorcoach, but space is limited and not guaranteed.

Government-Issued ID / Passport: It is the responsibility of each Tour Guest to provide their name as written on their government-issued photo ID (or passport if traveling to Alaska or outside of the U.S.) when registering for a tour. If the incorrect name is given, Landmark Tours, Inc. is not liable for additional expenses incurred or travel delays as a result of airline ticket name changes.

Tour Photography: Landmark Tours, Inc. may occasionally utilize videos or photographs taken by or of Tour Guests for promotional materials, including, but not limited to internet and print. Please notify Landmark Tours, Inc. prior to the start of your tour if you do not want your image in any promotional materials. Membership: Membership will be granted to all persons. Landmark Tours, Inc.

reserves the right to terminate the tour or cruise of any persons who are abusive of others or whose behavior disrupts the tour.

Tour Cancellation: Tour Guest understands that Landmark Tours, Inc. reserves the right to cancel a tour for any reason. The resulting liability of Landmark Tours, Inc. is limited to a refund of the money that has been received from the Tour Guest. If a Tour Guest has purchased airfare through a different source, or arranged it on their own, Landmark Tours, Inc. is not responsible for a refund of these expenses. Prior to booking air individually outside of a Landmark Tours, Inc. package, it is required that each Tour Guest discuss flight plans with Landmark Tours, Inc. before booking. If a Tour Guest’s air itinerary does not align with the group’s itinerary, it is the Tour Guest’s responsibility to make arrangements to join the group.

Guests with Special Needs: You must advise Landmark Tours at the time your booking is made of any disability requiring special attention. Neither Landmark Tours personnel, nor its suppliers, may lift or physically assist Tour Guests. If a Tour Guest requires assistance, we require that he/she be accompanied by a companion who is capable of and totally responsible for providing the assistance. Be aware that the Americans with Disabilities Act is applicable only within the United States and that accommodations for disabled travelers outside of the United States may be more limited. Additionally, some hotels may not have accessible rooms with two beds.

Tour Pace: Walking is required in addition to consistently exiting and boarding the motorcoach. Furthermore, some attractions will require additional walking as there can be limited bus access. If concerned, it is the Tour Guest’s responsibility to consult a physician to see if the tour is suitable. Please read the below general guidelines:

1) Landmark Tours packages are best suited for travelers who are able to comfortably walk 1/2 mile in approximately 15 minutes.

2) If you are unable to keep pace with the other travelers in your group the Tour Manager may request that you stay near the motorcoach and forgo sightseeing that entails additional walking. If you are separated from the group during this time, it is the individual responsibility of the traveler to arrive at the pre-designated departure point at the agreed time. If third party transportation is required (i.e. a taxi), it will be at the traveler’s personal expense.

3) There will be occasions when staying on the motorcoach during sightseeing stops is not allowed. At this time, all passengers must exit the motorcoach to allow the driver to lock the doors and take a break.

4) The group’s overall enjoyment is the primary responsibility of the Tour Manager. If you are consistently unable to keep up with the pace of your fellow travelers it can impede your safety or the other travelers’ enjoyment of the tour. The Tour Manager may request that you leave the tour. The resulting costs will be the personal responsibility of the traveler.

Activity Level: For your convenience, we have assigned Activity Levels to each tour. This is noted on each individual tour page next to “Tour Cost Per Person.” Below is a description of each level:

1 - Easy:

A leisurely pace with minimal activity to include climbing stairs, boarding the motorcoach, and walking within hotels and ships.

2 - Relaxed:

Guests should be able to walk intermittently with occasional inclines and stair climbs, including on and off the motorcoach throughout the day.

3 - Active:

This program includes a blend of longer and shorter days with walking tours. Tour Guests should expect 1 - 2 hours of walking each day, including uneven surfaces and stair climbs, with opportunities to rest between attractions.

4 - Moderately Challenging:

This program includes longer touring days with more walking tours and standing. Tour Guests should expect 2 - 3 hours of walking each day. Some sites may be inaccessible by bus and include rocky or uneven ground and stair climbs.

5 - Challenging:

This is a more physical touring experience that involves longer walking tour on uneven surfaces, may involve wet or windy conditions at sites, and long periods of standing. Tour Guests should expect 4 - 5 hours of walking throughout the day.
