Lady Gaga has resumed her world tour after returning to the stage fol-lowing a battle with chronic pain. The singer was forced to shut down dates in September (17) and reschedule the European leg of her Joanne World Tour due to "severe physical pain" days after revealing she had been fighting Fibromyalgia. She appears to have bounced back from the medical low and she took to Twitter over the weekend to announce her tour is back on.

"We’re Back! #JoanneWorldTour," she wrote. "It feels so good to be on stage. "I’m back where I belong. My home. With u."

Sean Combs — or, the artist formerly known as Diddy, Puffy, Puff Daddy, etc. — announced Saturday November 4th that from now on he will be called: Love, a.k.a. Brother Love.

"I have some very serious news," he said in a video uploaded to Twitter. "I've been praying on this and… I knew it was risky, 'cause it could come off as corny to some people, (but) I decided to change my name again."

"I'm just not who I am before. I'm something different. So my new name is Love a.k.a. Brother Love. I will not be answering to Puffy, Diddy, Puff Daddy, or any of my other monikers but Love or Brother Love," he said, sporting a sun hat and roaming a beach.

Life is all about falling down and getting back up. It is about learning how to dance to a different tune when least expected. Vanessa Gomes is no exception to this rule. There is no such thing as a happy ending, yet she kept on going. After her marriage came crumbling down and her career in tourism came to an end (by her own choice), Vanessa sat down and never thought that these lessons would serve her as the ultimate gateway to happiness. “I experienced my first sincere reality check after the divorce. It made me think about life. What was my purpose? I was suddenly bombarded by life questions such as: Who am I? What’s my purpose? What gives me a complete sense of satisfaction? I quickly realized that the answer was simple. I have always wanted to help people. I want to try to give them a sense of fulfillment. I noticed from my own personal experience that if you are happy in your own skin, then this will reflect itself in everything else you do”. This was clear to her, she needed to help others, but how?

So she decided to move to Aruba and start a new journey. She risked everything at the time, but she also followed her gut feeling. She did not lose a minute upon arrival and started knocking on doors. “An old acquaintance of mine asked if I would be interested in coaching

and training employees at different businesses. This automatically resonated with me. After all, I wanted to help people as much as I could! So I started giving workshops at a car dealership in 2002. I gave customer training courses and after that I started expanding, gaining ground in my field of work”. After 6 adventurous years she decided to come back home. It was time for the world to meet Gomes Developments.

As a certified trainer, Vanessa’s goal is to help people grow in knowledge and gain insight about life. Hopefully this results in a conscious and positive way of living. According to Vanessa, one of the questions we often ask ourselves is ‘why is this happening to me?’ Turn it around apply and hthis thought: ‘This is happening to me, and I will learn from it. I will grow from this situation and I will be better off’. This principle is applicable to all situations in life. “I try to make people conscious about the fact that happiness is in their hands. Each one of us has control (for the most part) about our destiny. For instance, if you are happy and satisfied in your personal life, than this will automatically reflect itself upon your performance on the work floor. Change your mindset and it will give you positive results”.

Knowledge is power they say but that knowledge needs to be updated from time to time. The older we get, the harder it is to retain information. “During my trainings, (which are always tailor made to the needs of a specific company), I try to help you relax. Once you relax I can start feeding you information but I do so differently. I incorporate sensory learning to trigger all of your senses. The more of your senses I expose to information, the higher the probability will be that you will retain information”. Vanessa further explained that after a training most people tend to forget 80% of the information. Most of us only retain 20% after the training and a day later you will most likely only retain 10% of it. “So the challenge for me is, to ensure that everyone takes something away from it. Training is about filling the gaps, but everyone’s

gaps are different. I need to pay constant attention and adapt to their needs as well”. She enhances those different senses by incorporating specifically designed games.

These games allow you to socialize with your colleagues, breaking down any walls of communication that you might usually have. It allows you to give feedback, but at the same time it teaches you how to receive it as well.

She offers three types of services: • Outdoor coaching, • Team development & learning • Team socials.

You may ask yourself, what sets her apart? And her answer is, “It’s everything that I’ve been through, it pushed me to find change within myself. It made me search for ways to improve myself as a person and as a business owner”. All she is trying to do is help and once in a while we could use a little help from our friends.

Outdoor coaching This consists of 4 to 6 sessions. The sessions last for 2 hours. This type of coaching is designed to take employees out of the work floor and into a relaxed environment. This allows them to use all their senses to embark on a learning journey. This training focuses on answering some specific questions. ‘How do I find joy in other areas of my life? What tools do I need to face each day? How do I change my current way of living to improve my life?’

Team socials The name says it all. These are (informal) specifically designed lunch or dinner activities combined with learning components. Each session lasts approximately 4 hours.

Team development and learning This one is specifically designed for businesses on location or at a different vicinity. The program lasts for 1 year. It is divided into 9 sessions.
