Broccoli Salad

Try this super healthy and delicious broccoli salad topped with a creamy almond dressing.

Instructions 1. Toss all the salad ingredients together in a bowl.

2. Pulse the dressing ingredients in a food processor until smooth. Pour over the salad ingredients and toss to combine.

3. Serve immediately! Add more orange juice to add more moisture as needed.

Enhancing the beauty of individuals

Bunita

Bunita is a new make-up and merchandising brand that promotes the enhancement of beauty and helps each individual to feel more beautiful than they naturally are. The creator of this amazing brand is a certified make-up artist, Ashna Coster, who was born and raised in Curaçao and who is now based in the Netherlands. She is a woman with a creative soul who sees makeup as “a confidence booster”. By: Jade Mambre | Photography provided by Ashna Coster Bunita was created with a “Caribbean flavor,” with the goal to satisfy everyone. It is a brand that produces its make-up and merchandising line on its own. Initially, this brand has launched six limited edition liquid lipsticks in the shades: Kuka, Bubbles, Bambina, Madre, Matiras, and Amigis. In the future, more collections will be launched. In addition to the lipsticks, Bunita has a t-shirt line with

the Bunita logo, which is currently only offered to the local market. “A percentage of the earnings of the t-shirt line will be used with the aim to create a non-profit organization” focused on mainly women who are dealing with life issues and women “who want to reintegrate themselves in our community.” This non-profit organization will help women with “everything that contributes to the

enhancement of their beauty,” to help them feel beautiful again.

At a very young age, Ashna started to explore makeup. Between 2005 and

2010, she had many freelance jobs come her way, and people started to ask her for makeup tips and tricks.

So, she took the courage to create YouTube videos in Papiamentu to share makeup looks, tips, and tricks for 5 years. Doing makeup is what keeps Ashna “sane and relaxed.”

During that time, she was a beauty advisor for Bobbi Brown Cosmetics at J.L.Penha. After obtaining her bachelor’s degree, she worked in the buying and marketing department of the company. In 2015, Ashna Coster moved to Antwerp, Belgium where she attended Make-Up Designory (MUD) Beauty School. She completed her master’s degree and received her artist ID card and her diploma that is recognized worldwide. That was the moment she changed her

brand name from Ash Defines to AshnaCosterBeauty. Ashna believes that the beauty industry is constantly changing, as there are always new styles and tricks to try. Now, she is investing in Bunita with the intention to make it a well-known international brand one day.

“Everybody is beautiful”

“It is the intention to extend the merchandise line … with Bunita kids, Bunita men, and basically everything regarding accessories” in the near future. The Bunita team wants to “indoctrinate girls from a very young age with the idea that everybody is beautiful.” Ashna believes makeup is about enhancing beauty. Her advice is to be yourself and to not compare yourself to others. “Find what makes you unique and build upon that. Be creative and take risks.”

Never let someone tell you, you can’t do it

The power of

DEDICATION We all have some great ideas or dreams about how we would like to see things. Maybe you would like to lose some weight to fit in a pair of jeans or you would like to have the money to buy a great car or house, or maybe you are eager to have a new job.

We all would like to have something because we dream about it, we think about it and we talk about it. BUT, how many of us are so dedicated to achieve that idea or dream or to do a killer workout and eat healthy to fit in those jeans? How many of us are willing to work harder, more efficiently or maybe extra to get your dream car or house, or by not sitting on that sofa after work watching series, but seriously seeking a new job to make a change in your life?

I experience these situations with the people I have around me every day for years (including myself years

ago). These situations made me more eager to achieve my goals. Therefore, I am so proud to give my clients the reality check to motivate, stimulate and coach them through the process so they can achieve their goals.

Right now, I am hopefully reaching out to you as well to give you a reality check.

I had this energy to achieve my goal and most of all…the passion to work on my path towards my goal.

While sitting in a restaurant with my partner while drinking a glass of wine, we had so much to talk about that out of the blue we came up with a new idea for my company. At that moment, this already made me eager, hungry for success, and happy.

Now, go GET YOURS!
