March, 21 - April, 19 It could be that you feel a bit of pressure to start or create something that you aren't quite ready for. There is hesitation on your part that indicates you should take it slowly and learn more of the facts before you jump into the fray.
TAURUS
Famous Libra
Scarlet Zalm Born: October 15, 1974
LIBRA
September, 23 - October, 22 Be a pioneer thinker Libra. There's a noble courage in your thoughts, so don't let this quality go to waste. You will be surprised at how cutting edge you can be when you put your mind to it. Take a walk by yourself and contemplate the next major move that you'd like to make in your life. Feel free to brainstorm bold ways to execute this plan.
WELLNESS The current challenge for you is to find your balance among the various elements of life. In astrological terms, the elements are fire, earth, air, and water. In daily life terms, they are the spirit, the body, the intellect, and the emotions. Your natural interest in alternative medicine, psychology, health foods and nature points the way to a healthy balance. Paying attention to the needs of your body nurtures your basic well-being.
2
April, 20 - May, 20 Move forward with your plan of attack. There's an anxious rumble within you that's urging you to get going with a current plan. You have all the facts you need, so don't hesitate any longer. The power of the word is with you.
GEMINI
May, 21 - June, 20 Add spark to your life. It could be that things are getting stale and boring. If so, consider the possibility that you simply aren't challenging yourself enough. Remember that you're responsible for lighting your own fire.
CANCER
June, 21 - July, 22 People are apt to try to hit you square on the head with their ideas and thoughts, so be ready for the onslaught of information that may come your way. There's a distinct advantage to listening to the whole spiel before you react with your own facts and emotions.
LEO
July, 23 - August, 22 Anchor yourself in practical matters before you try to prove your point to others. There's a great deal of primal energy rising within you and searching for some sort of outlet. Be aware of overextending yourself when it comes to issues of the mind.
VIRGO
August, 23 - September, 22 Don't take no for an answer. Know what you believe in and stick with it. There's a distinct advantage to holding true to your inner nature. Don't let others throw you off course with their views on how things should be done. Be confident and don't worry about taking things over the top.
SCORPIO
October, 23 - November, 22 Be aggressive and forceful when it comes to exerting your will. Let others know that you won't be a pushover. Your opinions are extremely important, and they need to be heard by the people who matter the most. Have faith that whatever you say has the power to come true, especially when you enlist the help of those around you.
SAGITTARIUS
November, 23 - December, 21 Don't sit and wait for everyone else to go first. If you know it's your turn, be bold and make your move. It wouldn't be a bad idea to signal others that you're going ahead. People might not be used to you taking such an aggressive role.
CAPRICORN
December, 22 - January, 19 People would be foolish to challenge your thinking now. The power behind your words is volatile, and you may find yourself going to extremes in order to get your point across. Be careful about making promises you can't fulfill.
"Break out the mold and try something new" AQUARIUS -
AQUARIUS
January, 20 - February, 18 Your old ways of thinking have carried you quite far, but you may now find that it's time to seek a new platform for your ideas. Look for more adventurous ways to express yourself. Break out of the old mold and try something new.
PISCES
February, 19 - March, 20 One quick phone call to a friend may turn into a long discussion about the meaning of life. Be conscious of the fact that there's a great deal of momentum building in your mind now. Once the dam breaks, you may soon have a giant flood on your hands.

Adele and Ed Sheeran battling for 'Song of the Year' Adele’s ‘Hello’ is in the running to be crowned Song of the Year at this year’s BMI London Awards. Ellie Goulding’s ‘On My Mind’, Ed Sheeran’s ‘Thinking Out Loud’ and George Ezra’s ‘Budapest’ are also among those in contention for the highly coveted award for the most played song of 2015 on radio and TV in the US, which will be presented in London by BMI, the global leader in
music rights management. Just over half of the songs shortlisted in the Top 10 for 'Song of the Year' are from British songwriters, proving once again that the country is a hotbed of musical talent, with a global reach. Sam Smith claimed the 'Song of the Year' trophy last year for his smash hit ‘Stay With Me’, whilst in 2014 France’s Daft Punk were bestowed the honor for ‘Get Lucky’.

Into the sea Upon entering you’ll be welcomed with ta beautiful view over the beach and clear blue sea. Karakter isn’t very big, so you can enjoy your privacy. What I love most about this place is the fact you have to jump to get into the water. That’s definitely more fun than slowly walking in!
Karakter
Any day off is a good day to feel like you’re on vacation. Your island life is not complete without a good beach day every now and then... Karakter should definitely be on your to-do list.

Koraal Rooftop Terrace Karakter recently added this very nice addition to their beach. At Koraal Rooftop Terrace you can chill out at the infinity pool or have a drink/bite at the bar. It is also much more spacious, which makes it ideal for kids! Since it’s a rooftop terrace, you can expect a fantastic view! Ah, are you ready to go grab a drink, sit back, relax and enjoy the peaceful sound of the waves at Karakter?

How would you describe your style of illustration and has it changed since you started? I’m not sure if there’s a specific way to describe my style of illustration because I never went to art school or anything like that. So basically everything I ever produced is self-taught. I get extremely inspired by fashion and fashion shoots, high fashion like GUCCI, PRADA, DOLCE & GABBANA (maybe someday I’ll try illustrating fashion), I love looking at it actually. Not sure how to explain it but I get a good feeling and I get really inspired when looking at someone’s creation. I’m also a Pinterest addict. I

got inspired to do the illustration of the two girls getting facials from a few pins I saw of Marrakech.
Please take us through your design process, where do you start and what tools do you use? It starts with paper and a pencil. Most people are not aware of this but I actually draw all of it by hand. After sketching, I trace it all with a black acrylic marker and scan the drawing direct to my laptop. After that, I just have lots and lots of fun with Photoshop. Occasionally I also draw and paint directly on canvas.
COVER STORY GOWEEKLY 41 2016
Do you ever have creative slumps? If so, how do you overcome that? I definitely have creative slumps on occasion. I usually make a game plan on how to improve my work, social media and shop. Other than that, I just take time to treat myself, catch up on magazines (which helps a lot with gaining more ideas and inspiration), and watch Netflix in bed, all that good stuff.
What would be your ultimate goal as an illustrator? I love makeup (although I don’t use
"Basically everything I ever produced is self-taught"
a lot of it). But brands like MAC and BENEFIT usually have these cute colorful packaging where they have illustrations portraying some cute and girly women on many of their products. If I ever get that lucky, then I can say I’ve reached my ultimate goal as an illustrator. But starting small... I would love to do a big mural of all my girls on my island.
What’s on your horizon? Any current or future projects you can share with us? Work work work work work. I’m working on a book cover for a book on how to grow long and healthy hair, for an ex-celebrity hair stylist who now owns a salon all the way in Atlanta, Georgia. I have to say I’m pretty excited to see the outcome!

DIY: NATURAL HAIR MASKS If you wish to have healthy hair using organic products, you don’t need to go to the market. Most of our homes are equipped with various natural products that can serve as a natural hair mask. Not only are these hair masks easy to prepare, they provide ample nourishment to your hair and are also very cost-effective. You can apply your hair mask in the privacy of your home at a convenient time. Editor: Charlysen Jansen
Yoghurt and Aloe Vera Hair Mask A yoghurt and aloe Vera hair mask is one the easiest DIY health product for your hair. This is the best recipe for healthy and tangle-free hair. Just mix some yoghurt with 2 tablespoons of aloe vera juice and massage it on to your scalp through the lengths of your hair. Leave it on for about half an hour and rinse thoroughly. Yoghurt helps to strengthen and cleanse the hair and leaves them shiny and detangled.
Banana and Avocado Hair Mask This mask is especially useful for people with frizzy hair. Avocado supplies amino acids, proteins and vitamins to rejuvenate your hair. Just mix half cup banana with one fourth cup avocado and one teaspoon yoghurt. You can mix it nicely using a blender and even add a capsule of Vitamin E. Massage the smoothie on your hair gently and wash after 15 minutes. When this mask is applied on the hair, it strengthens the hair and hydrates them. For best results, use this mask at least once a week.

Luna Yen started 10 years ago as a Luna Blou Production under direction of Norman de Palm. The idea of Luna Yen is to discover, coach and seek opportunity for young talents.
