March, 21 - April 19 Have you been working yourself too hard and denying yourself many of the pleasures that you see others enjoying that you'd like to have? Is there a new pair of shoes calling to you from a store window that you just can't let yourself buy? Indulge yourself today. You won't regret it.
Famous Gemini
Blake Shelton
April, 20 - may 20 Perhaps your family is far away and you miss them a lot. You need to realize that you can count on your friends. They'll able to prove their love for you and show you that you're as important as the air they breathe.
CANCER
June, 21 - July, 22 You'll have all the inspiration you need to get to work on some of the problems that have been plaguing your group lately. You'll use your pragmatism and tact to efficiently tackle those things that have been making life difficult for the people you love.
Born: June 18, 1975
GEMINI
May, 21 - June, 20 That little child you once were and that you're trying so desperately to forget is still causing you problems. Why do you try so hard to deny that sweet and tender part of you that comes out even in your adult life? You'll forget about your faults, imperfections, and complexes more easily if you just remember your childhood fondly, and maybe even smile about it. Wellness There are positive aspects beginning for you - supporting you in your endeavors. This may alleviate the haunting sense that you are "all alone." Many people will be brought to greater sensitivity (and necessary self-questioning) by this transit, and the result of this is that you will feel more like "part of the gang" around other people than you normally do. To accentuate this feeling of strength and self-confidence, you are encouraged to go to the gym and build your upper-body strength.

"You need to realize that you can count on your friends."
TAURUS -
LEO
July, 23 - August, 22 Your family is encouraging you to reconsider some of your long-term plans. In fact, some of your loved ones' needs are changing. But the solutions you come up with may not be enough. Just don't panic.
VIRGO
August, 23 - September, 22 Without a doubt, your day will have important consequences for the future of your love life. The doubts you may have today, especially concerning your feelings, are likely to push you to think about things before you make any decisions.
September, 23 - October, 22 You're naturally involved in things and bursting with energy. You're also trying to work on how you relate to other people. However, you tend to want to get too involved in their lives at home and at work. You even have a tendency to do their work for them sometimes. Try to avoid overworking yourself. October, 23 - November, 22 You may be wondering just how much you should get involved in a certain conflict between family members or in your career. There's a lot of pressure on you to find an answer to this problem. But all you have to do is not take sides and everything should work out fine.
SAGITTARIUS
November, 23 - December, 21 You need to cut down on stress and stop getting upset over nothing. Even if up until now you haven't been able to figure out what is really bothering you, you'll understand some of the mysteries of your personality, and understand what it is exactly that causes those chronic mood swings of yours.
CAPRICORN
December 22 - January, 19 Those arrogant types really need to watch out around you. Even if they don't mean you any harm, you head straight to the attack in order to make them understand that they don't intimidate you. This constant state of war should calm down a little with the current celestial energy.
AQUARIUS
January, 20 - February, 18 This is an important day for you especially if you're an artist. The work you have already begun is beginning to escape your grasp. It's time to give it a name and its own identity in the world. Of course it's painful, but you knew it wouldn't belong to you forever.
PISCES
February, 19 - March, 20 Are you an intellectual or a poet, a novelist or a playwright? The celestial energy leaves you alone with your anxieties and questions. You are sure of only one thing - words are the friends you've decided to spend the rest of your life with.

Beyonce and Jay Z’s new wedding rings for fresh start Beyonce and husband Jay Z are reportedly putting the past behind them with newly designed wedding rings. The couple looked stronger than ever at the Council of Fashion Designers of America last Monday. Beyonce was accompanied by Jay Z and daughter Blue Ivy, as she accepted the Fashion Icon Award.
Grammy-winning musician John Legend won't be quitting his day job while producing film and television projects. "I’m not giving up my day job," he tells Variety. "I’m finishing an album now, I’ll tour on it and do all the things I’ve always done. But I have a great (production) team, and all of us have a mandate to try to tell great stories and make the world a more interesting place by getting those stories out there. So while I’m on the road, I’ll be reading scripts."

Kralendijk The capital of Bonaire, Kralendijk, is where all the action is. This Caribbean capital is filled with color, culture and history. Here’s some more information about this city. By Shari Jourdain
HAVE SOME
Authentic Each part of Bonaire offers something unique. What is immediately noticeable in Kralendijk is the colorful 19th century style architecture of Kaya Grandi, which is popular for shopping. The coziness of Wilhelmina Park will make you want to take a break and sit down for a refreshing drink. Strolling down Kaya Craane (also known as the Boulevard) you’ll have wonderful opportunities to watch the sunset. Not to mention the Fish Market, where you can also buy fresh fruit and veggies! You can find a lot of historic buildings in this area, which makes Kralendijk not just another Caribbean town, but one with a story to tell. What I find really amazing is that there are diving spots everywhere. You could have lunch, then go for a dive afterwards, right next to the restaurant. How unique is that!?

The truth is out there! T’aki Mi Ta Beba’s Oompie Stroopie on the microphone Perhaps it was not his initial intention, but Oompie Stroopie’s popular blog T’aki mi ta Beba, has grown into an alternative news platform. His most popular posts like the one about Gerrit Schotte, with over 16.000 unique visitors in a single day, followed by Mi muhe su kabei duru, the Resumen di Siman featuring Black Chyna and Ki dia mi ta hanja mi sen bek, all had over 10.000 views each. COVER STORY GOWEEKLY 24 2016
Oompie is quite the character and has a large fan base that reaches across the Atlantic Ocean. We’re sure many of you have wondered about the man behind the BLOG, our team at Go Weekly is happy to provide his account to you.
Why do you blog? "Blogging is my way of communicating to the world effectively. There is a lot of news and information out there that simply does not appeal to people. I use humour and metaphors to entice people to read, get interested in actualities and have a good laugh while they’re at it. Let it be known that I am not here to educate! My ultimate goal is for the reader to seek out the truth for him- or herself. We are a gullible folk when it comes to the media and are way too dependent on radio and TV for information. The problem with that is that we end up listening to a mikrofonista instead of journalists in the local media and the former only cares about being the first to relay a story, not the truth."
Are you aware of how powerful T’aki mi ta Beba has grown? "Yes, very much so, which is why I try to deal with it responsibly. “Mi no ta hasi mal uso di dje.” I know I can potentially brainwash my readers by imposing my views. I am aware that there are people who follow what I say blindly without questioning my arguments and for this very reason I avoid expressing my political views among other ticklish subjects."
You put a lot of people on the spot. How do you keep your own integrity? "Luckily, I live on Bonaire so it is easy
for me to keep my distance. However, things are different when I am on Curaçao. I get recognized on the street, I often get asked to judge at events and receive invites to parties. I am smart enough to steer clear from that type of seductive 'fame.' I am well aware that if I cave in, I might as well throw my credibility down the drain. This is not an option as I believe in living by my words."
opportunity may pass you by. This is especially if you are broke or hungry, you can’t afford to sleep if you fall into one of these categories. You need to be awake to remedy your situation."
Any words of wisdom for the Go Weekly readers? "We live in a society where your accomplishments determine your future. Companies value someone
"People should take into account that Oompie Stroopie is a character. He is a humorist, critical and dares to ask really tough questions."
Where is T’aki mi ta Beba heading?
"I want T’aki mi ta Beba to be a platform where people can come together and engage in constructive discussions about different topics or learn to do so without getting overtly emotional. I want to keep stimulating people to read and inform themselves about actualities."
What should people know about you? "People should take into account that Oompie Stroopie is a character. He is a humorist, critical and dares to ask really tough questions. However, that person is not the real me. I like to spend my weekends fishing and I do not like to go out partying. I believe that life should not be wasted sleeping, otherwise a once-in-a-lifetime
who has a diploma and if you want to build a future on our island, you best get with the program. My advise is to have that paper so you can have a good head start. So make sure you’re settled before following your passion."
Who do you admire? "I like the Hip Hop Preacher, Eric Thomas. I consider him one of the best motivational speakers out there, because he stays close to reality. He is known for the quote “Pain is temporary! It may last for a minute, or an hour, or a day, or even a year. But eventually it will subside and something else will take it’s place. If I quit however, it will last forever…” I share this belief. People need to set their priorities straight and realize that it takes effort and sacrifice to make it in life."

Playa Kenepa As a true lover of Curaçao, there isn’t a beach I don’t like. But we all have personal favorites, right? My heart will always belong to Kenepa, as it so naturally beautiful. By: Shari Jourdain
HAPPY FATHER’S DAY! Renaissance Mall • Tel.: 465-1817

Banda Abou Banda Abou is the area at the western end of the island. Kenepa, being near the far end of Banda Abou isn’t a very convenient beach for people like myself, who live closer to Willemstad. The drive to Banda Abou, though it will take a while, is quite pleasant and well worth it. Along the way you’ll come across other beaches first, such as Porto Mari, Santha Martha Bay, Lagun, Santa Cruz and more. It’s always fun to stop at one or another of these, but be sure to leave enough time to enjoy Kenepa as your final destination.
Chikí i Grandi Kenepa is actually divided into two beaches. Kenepa Chikí and Kenepa Grandi (Little Kenepa and Big Kenepa). They are both highly favored among tourists for the photo opportunities they offer, and the views are simply breathtaking! I like to go to Kenepa when I need some time away. Unspoiled nature, with little/no music, tropical birds chirping and flying around and beautiful scenery… what more could you want?
