MY VOW IS TO MAKE STRONGER AT WESTMINSTER
This election on March 5 is our chance to shake-up Westminster so that it serves Scotland better.
The SNP has shown time and again that we are the only party that will stand-up for Scottish democracy, and this manifesto is built on the belief that we can and we will move our country forward.
Scotland now needs strong voices in London, because Labour isn’t working.
The Labour Government has no agenda to deliver for Scots, and the Tories are determined to strip our NHS of public funding, and stip our Scottish Parliament of power.
The SNP is the only party that will stand-up for Scotland and deliver a real voice for our constituents, from Barra to the Black Isle, Glasgow to Gordon, Aberdeen to Alness. Our mission at Westminster is to ensure Scotland gets the deal that we deserve.
Instead of deeper spending cuts, we want to see greater investment into the economy, and the creation of more jobs.
We want to see the profits Scotland’s resources used to invest in the future of our children, rather than spent on building skyscrapers in London.
More SNP seats will mean more powers for Scotland’s Parliament in Edinburgh.
We’ll use our voice to lobby the UK Government to devolve matters of employment law, allowing us to scrap zero-hour contracts.
We’ll work to solve Scotland’s drugs crisis with a public health based approach.
This starts with working with the UK Government to devolve matters to Drug Policy. Then, we’ll work to decriminalise the use of substances and invest in Safe Consumption Rooms, helping addicts get of the streets and reform their lives.
So whilst all the other political parties attempt to spin Scotland’s drug addiction crisis as a reflection of the SNP, be it in no doubt that we have a plan to solve it - they just won’t allow us to have the powers to do so.

Revisit the Devolved Framework
We believe that the time is now to revisit the devolution settlement, and that an open and honest debate must take place within Scotland to determine what powers should reside with what Parliament.
Employment Law
We will lobby the next UK Government to devolve powers relating to employment law. This would allow us to rewrite the deal between Government and the working people. With these new powers, we will work to:
• Ban Zero Hours Contracts, including ‘hidden’ zero-hours contracts, where the employer still reserves the right to cut hours without due notice.
• Increase the Minimum Wage to £15/hour, allowing workers to make ends meet and avoid the debt spiral.
• Tackle Unemployment, with a new approach to creating and filling jobs.
WHAT HAS THE SNP EVER DONE FOR SCOTLAND?
Since 2007, the SNP Scottish Government in Holyrood has delivered the real change that Scotland has demanded. Now, it’s time to elect strong voices to Westminster that will stand-up for all of Scotland.
