BASKETBALL BY THE BEACH

UTRGV men’s basketball hosted the inaugural UTRGV South Padre Island Battle on the Beach, featuring men’s basketball games between UTRGV and Northern Arizona as well as Texas Tech and Incarnate Word, at the South Padre Island Convention Centre. The women’s basketball program hosted the second annual UTRGV South Padre Island Classic, a fourgame tournament featuring UTRGV, UTSA, Liberty and Grand Canyon.
