An ear ly mor ning emergency call from Ramp Magazine sent me on a plane to the B i l s t e r B e r g R a c e Tra c k t o m e e t t h e s e c ra z y driving machines.

I t w a s c o l d , ra i n y, f o g g y a n d v e r y q u i e t t h a t O c t o b e r d a y. . . . u n t i l t h e d r i v e r s p r e s s e d t h e i g n i t i o n b u t t o n . . . . . a n d o f f w e w e n t ra c i n g through the autumn mist of Germany with three roaring mad machines screaming up and d o w n t h e t ra c k .
