Greetings from our family to yours, and welcome to our 34th Annual Production Sale!
We all thought last year was a great year to be in the cow/calf business, and it certainly was! 2025 and the start of 2026 has proven to be one of the most prosperous and energetic times to own cows in the history of the cattle industry. The hard work and dedication that goes into managing all the ins and outs of a cattle operation is finally getting rewarded, and it feels absolutely great! The overall consensus seems to be that this profitable trend will continue for the next year or two. Baring unforeseen shortcomings caused by forces beyond our control, the cow calf guy will have the head seat at the table for the foreseeable future, so get COMFORTABLE!!!

Again, our systems approach to serving you has and will continue to grow in 2026. We will again offer 300 head of Maternal Selected high quality females to help you build your cow herd for the future. It has never been more important to be selecting top quality replacement females that will be responsible for leading your herd for the next 8 to 12 years. A heifer that is purchased in 2026 and calves in 2027 will have at least 3 of the top selling calves of this cattle cycle.
As always, we continue to press the edge with this genetic selection and our decisions will challenge the performance of any bulls and females both in the Gelbvieh Breed and as well as any breed. Our number one goal is to continually advance every aspect of our genetics so that your own operation can continue to flourish. We are very excited to showcase this year’s offering, as we feel it truly signifies our dedication to your success.
We again are offering Fall, Winter Yearling, and Spring Yearling Bulls. You will find that the quality in this offering will help you add length of side, mass, and carcass merit to your calves to maximize the pounds that you sell to the market. The heifers are of the same genetics and will stay in your herd for multiple calves. The females are genetically sound for longevity. Take a look and plan for your replacement needs by utilizing the “You Pick ‘Em, We Breed ‘Em” program. Fill your pastures with cows, not Replacement Heifers!!
Please call with any questions that you have and we would welcome the opportunity to show the cattle before the sale or on Sale Day, March 2nd!!
This offering of bulls and heifers are of the quality that are amongst the Best Top Performance Genetics in the US for 2026. To take advantage of this historic market and maximize the pounds of calves that you offer to the market, make sure that Cross Breeding is the standard at your Ranch. A crossbred calf is more demanded, higher in vigor and pounds, and will put more dollars in your wallet. The advantages of Crossbred vs Straightbred cattle are well documented.
See you at the Sale!
-Alan & Pam, Blake & Jenn

We are very excited to have our Production Sale at the Hojer Ranch Headquarters again this year. Our location is easily accessible from Highway 14. Please use the map for your directions. Look for our sign on our corner. Using our 911 address in GPS will take you to a different location. We wish you safe travels and look forward to seeing you all on March 2nd!

BIRTH WEIGHT (BW): Predicts the difference, in pounds, for birth weight.

What a way to start out this 2026 Catalog! M503 has the potential of being the next great calving ease AI sire in the breed. His half brother was our High Selling bull in 2025 to Davidson Gelbvieh in Canada. Not only have these Whirlwind genetics proven to calve early and small, they have proven to grow exceptionally well. Big time Breeder Opportunity here! Homo Black and Homo Polled! This is the Calving ease Sire of the future!

Introducing All American! We could not get semen in time to have these calves on our sale last year. But let me tell you, they were very well received around the country in 2025. They have great depth and substance as well as calving ease and outstanding carcass merit! This M505 would be a great candidate to use on heifers for a couple of years and then transition him into a Pasture Leading walking sire!

There is an undeniable proven fact that crossbreeding is not only the cheapest way to maximize your growth potential, but it is also the most effective! These Baller sons, crossed with an angus cow base, will produce calves that absolutely flourish! The order buyers at the sale barn will be fighting hand over fist for them!
This Lot 7 bull calf turned out even better than I could have imagined! I have loved this young dam since she was a calf and she really blew the doors off with her second calf. N561 checks every box there is for a Top Herdsire Prospect!! HOMO both ways, big time carcass, value, and an absolute flawless set of numbers! This guy should be very popular on March 2!!! This C584 cow has been a fantastic producer for us over the years. I have bred her to Whiskey Eclipse for several years with a ton of success. Her high selling son back in 2023 went to Diamond D Gelbvieh in North Dakota. I bred her to Big Chester this time, trying to get some added frame. Man did it work! This N575 calf will add stretch and pounds to any calf crop!

that will produce a ribeye steak that you can cut with a fork and it will melt in your mouth!! It takes a pretty special animal to top 800 lbs at weaning and 1300 lbs at yearling! Look this guy up on March 2! He will be sure to impress you!

I just want to point out how hard it is to have a negative calving ease and yet still be top 10% of the breed to both WW and YW. It is almost impossible! But Lot 12 just did that. Expect low birth weight and big time growth out of this guy! And OH MY! One of the biggest Ribeyes in the entire offering! Top 1% of the breed for REA!!!
This will be the last year of the timeless and outstanding Great Divide genetics. We walked Great Divide for 8 Breeding Seasons! Lot 13 has all the intangibles to be a Top Herd sire in any operation in the country! You just don’t find these high percentage purebreds in a homo black/ homo polled package very often. He almost tipped the scales at over 1400 pounds at yearling! Don’t miss out on these genetics!

BNC
You all will be receiving a HEAVY dose of BNC Continental for the next few years. And Lot 17 is exactly why. These cattle possess an extreme amount of frame, depth, and substance. Top 5% growth in both categories. This N5127 bull is one you have to keep females out of that will change the trajectory of a cow herd. Keep every daughter!!!
C5225 is one of largest framed Freightliner females left on the ranch. If there is one thing I've learned about Baller over the years, he is one of the widest topped purebred bulls I have ever seen, but he can get a little short. Lot 18 is exactly what I has hoping for in this pairing. The perfect blend of frame size and power. If only every breeding decision worked out this well!
Just take a look at the name on this

Wow, here is a one time and one time only outcross opportunity to take advantage of! This calf is just flat cool for a purebred package. His sire is owned my RC Pettit Cattle Company. This calf is perfectly square made and have a massive amount of eye appeal and substance. He would work on heifers as well. Even the people we hire to clip our bulls could not believe he was a purebred! Take advantage on the 2nd!!
Every year in these comment sections, I call out a few potential “Sleeper Picks”. Well folks, right here is one of them. He’s not a sleeper because of anything else but his age. He’s a younger bull that is backed by a stacked pedigree on both sides. One of the best EPD profiles you will find out there. One of the highest gains on test. This Lot 22 bull could easily be a breed leading AI sire across the country!
When we snuck home this 33J bull from a sale in Iowa, I felt really good about it. I felt even better after I started to see the quality of genetics he was producing! This Lot 24, just like all of the other sons, provide a great outcross option for those of you wanting to keep them all black and at the same time improve on your carcass traits!
There really won’t be many more opportunities in the future to take advantage of Astro genetics. Astro has changed the direction of our program for the last 20 years and the effects will continue to last for decades! This Lot 25 calf could be used on heifers and then transition into a walking sire that will have a lasting effect on your herd for years to come!!
Talk about a bull that has Hojer Ranch royalty backing up. His H103 dam is the mother of 2024 high selling bull Ascendance, who is becoming one of the most popular purebred AI sires in the Breed! She also produced the high selling female in 2025. This Lot 26 bull has limitless potential!! Top 1% or 2% of the breed for Growth, Milk, TM, MPI, FPI, and TPI!!! According to Dr. Weaber with the AGA, this is nearly impossible for an animal to achieve!
and moves extremely well. If you are in an area that requires your bulls to put some miles on every day, this guy would get the job done for you!
Never underestimate the profitability that occurs post weaning. A great cow is vitally important to get that calf from birth to weaning. Great genetics makes you all that extra money with just a little bit of feed. This lot 29 posted one of the sales highest post weaning gains. Expect his progeny to do the same for you. Take him home on March 2!!

is one of the most picture perfect females I’ve ever seen. Great phenotype and a great udder. N5242 is a stud in the making!

Bulls and heifers are available for viewing anytime at the ranch. The bulls will be penned by 10 am the morning of the sale. Videos of all lots are also available on our website, www.hojerranch.com.
I vividly remember sorting through calves shortly after we weaned. There was this young calf that kept catching my eye. He had a flashy appeal and a look of dominance that you usually don’t get from a young calf. N5252 has continued to impress and set higher bars. Top 1% of the breed for growth and has the maternal qualifications to back it up! Should be a crowd favorite in the pens on March 2!
I am certainly not a math major. I was honestly horrible at Algebra. But the one formula that I have figured out to be 100% true, is that more frame = more money in your
Over the years, we have started to have fewer and fewer April born bull calves in the offering. Well folks, Lot 34 is our only one this year. So that alone should prove to you that I think he is pretty special. A full sibling last year sold to Ken Chambers in North Carolina and Ken absolutely loves her physical make up. If you don’t turn out until mid summer, this guy would be a great insurance policy!!
The American Gelbvieh Association first incorporated genomic information into the summer 2013 genetic evaluation. Dr. Dorian Garrick of Iowa State University reported that a Gelbvieh/Balancer® specific panel of DNA markers can be used to develop genomicenhanced EPDs (GE EPDs). The combination of database information and genomic data resulted in EPDs that roll the accuracy of a DNA test and the information of individual, pedigree, and progeny performance into one, easy to use number.
This N5264 calf is the very reason
What a way to lead off the red purebred section! There is a definite void in this country when it comes to Red Purebred AI sires. Lot 35 NEEDS to be one to help fill that void!! He is a complete outcross to all red pedigrees and has an absolute ELITE EPD profile. M506 is packed full of power and performance that would be applicable in all regions across the country. It is really going to be fun to watch what Lot 35 does in his future!!

I cannot rave about these Big Chester cattle enough! Big Chester was our second high seller back in 2023 purchase by Grandpa Duane Hojer. Guess what folks, Grandpa Duane knew his cattle! These progeny have the added length and frame that will pack that added punch to an Angus or Red Angus cow base. Don’t leave any pounds on the table during this cattle cycle!! Doing so will be letting free money just fly away!

Top 10% of the breed in both CED and BW!!! These Big Andy females are just tremendous! Semen availability was very limited on Big Andy, so we made sure to retain as many females as we could. And this Lot 38 bull is the very reason. Yes it’s true, historically we have hung our hat on being performance orientated. But there is a definite need for calving ease
And man, oh, man is N572 a good option!!

TOP HERDSIRE PROSPECT!!! This right here is the type of purebred Gelbvieh bull I would like to replicate every single time! Lot 41 has great frame (probably a 6.36.5), great depth, and that long and clean neck extension. He absolutely busted the doors off the scale hitting 926 at weaning and dang near 1400 at yearling. I can’t say it loud enough, this is what I want to turn the Gelbvieh breed into!! Everyone stop and check him out!

Does everyone remember at last year’s sale when it was revealed that Jaden had his work cut out for him on the basketball court? Well, the arrangement was if his coach bought this guy’s full brother last year, Jaden had to get 10 rebounds per game. Jaden’s coach bought him and yes Jaden held up his end of the bargain also. Love this Trade Secret calf. Go put the sales pitch on your coach again, Jaden!!

Funny enough, as I sit here and type out this description, the G101 cow just calved out in the barn. She is a

We purchased this female from Hojer Cattle Company about 4 years ago and she has done exactly what we expected of her. She stamps her offspring with substance and eye appeal. This calf has always been impressive but has come on very strong down the home stretch posting a whopping 3.86 ADG post weaning. This is a very unique red purebred calf that should not fall under the radar!!
Yes, in case you didn't notice, Lot 47 and Lot 48 are twin brothers. I always like to point out the cow when we have siblings this good that both make the cut. This cow literally weaned off 1,567 pounds of calf. So just out of curiosity, I weighed the cow when she came home for winter. Any guesses? She weighed 1475 in December. How many times can you say a cow weaned off 106% of her body weight? UNPRECIDENTED!!!

If that smile doesn’t make you want to bid a couple times then I just don’t know what will. How about just the fact that this bull is phenomenal!!! These Civil War bulls have carried the weight in our balancer division the last few years. Lot 48 might be the best one yet!

If you have read through all of my comments, you have noticed a trend that I am a very strong proponent of frame size. Other then heterosis, I truly believe increasing frame size is the fastest way to add pounds and profitability. This Lot 49 bull has about as much frame as we have to offer. This guy is a great option if you are desperately needing to add size and stretch to your next calf crop!!

So happy we made the decision to bring back these Dikta genetics! This Lot 50 is the epitome of what we grew to expect from Ditka. Mass, growth, and substance is what you get every time. superiority! That is exactly what these Class Action genetics excel at. This K269 has continually produced a calf that ratios low at birth and excels at growth. This Lot 55 bull would make a great set of replacement females. The herd building is just about to begin so let this guy be a part of it!!
This stud balancer bull is a great combination of the best of both worlds!! Lot 52 has the great Ditka on his dam’s side and the timeless Civil War on his sire’s side. These have been the best Balancer genetics we have used in the last 10 years, and here you get the opportunity to combine them. Great feet and legs go with great overall thickness and eye popping eye appeal!! Find him in the bull pens!!
The G9208 cow has proven herself
I am so happy that we tried EXAR Stock Fund this past year! This Lot 56 bull is
of two Stock Fund bulls that we have in this year’s offering. This guy might be more versatile of the two. He carries a little more calving ease but by no means sacrifices any growth. Top 25% CE while maintaining top 10% growth. This is a TRUE F1 CROSS!!!! None of this balancer on balancer stuff. This bull is
maximum heterosis!!!!

Here is a very flashy made Continental son that would work great on a set of first calf heifers or in the pasture with cows! These Continental sired calves have a massive amount of depth. This guy is very attractive in a moderate package. Certainly a bull that I would consider a Jack of all Trades!!

Now this is a STUD of a Civil War calf right here! You would have to drive the wheels off the truck to find another one like him. ELITE growth on Lot 58 being in the top 10% of the breed to weaning and yearling weight. Big time Ribeye!!! Top 1%!!! This guy will improve any set of calves! Just give him that chance on March 2!!!

I don’t know, I must be a bit biased in my opinions. But when I see a bull with a 91 on weaning and a 140 on yearling, I just want to own him!!! Because if there is one thing guaranteed when turning this Lot 63 bull out with your cows, it that the calves will flat out grow!! An extra 50 pounds in this market equates to a lot of extra dollars!!
What a great 3/4 blood Ascendance package right here in Lot 67. I can not reiterate enough how great these Ascendance progeny are. Super long sided with the depth of rib and front end of an Angus. You will find several 75% balancers in our balancer section. Why is that you may ask? I honestly believe the three quarter blood Gelbvieh animal brings the most to the table. This Lot 64 will maximize your revenue starting day one!!

BNC Replay was Hojer Cattle Company’s pick of our bulls back in 2023. If there is one thing you probably know about the type of cattle Christian likes, it’s the ones with a huge amount of eye appeal. That is exactly what you get in this Lot 71!! And to add to that stylish appearance, you get a bull that performed through the roof! Top 10% growth traits! This guy will make one fancy set of replacement females or feeder calves!
This Lot 72 bull is what I would consider a ZERO risk option!! What I mean by that is I don’t see any scenario where this guy won’t be a home run producer of great calves that top the scales! We don’t have many Apollo daughters in the herd but the ones we do have are tremendous. Apollo was an Astro son that sold to Lost River Livestock several years ago. Young sleeper pick right here!!! This Lot 77 calf has the potential to keep developing into a stud of a herd bull. He is super structurally sound and has just an outstanding phenotype. I feel like we found a diamond in the rough with the purchase of this 232K bull from Goldux Gelbvieh. This bull undoubtably represents the core of what we are at Hojer Ranch. These All American sons worked just as well in the Fall calving herd as the Spring calving group. Here is a guy that is moderate framed and possesses a great amount of calving ease. He will not only treat your heifers right but he will make them all Black!!! Don’t sleep on these aged bulls, they will cover more cows their first year out the gate!
Lot 82 is arguably my favorite All American son to date! He had that crazy extended front end that I find very attractive and desirable. His length of body is unprecedented. This 99.9% purebred has so much potential in his young future. He is backed by one of the great cows in our Ranch’s history with the B515 female. This guy really does have it all. Growth, Maternal, and Carcass!! He should be high on everyone’s list March 2!!
CE to go along with Top 15% growth!!! Just WOW!!!! This Lot 85 bull is a large framed critter with a mile of stretch to back up his whopping 1550 January weight. This guy could easily cover 25 plus females his first year. Now that is maximizing on your investment!!!

This Lot 88 calf has a very user friendly set of numbers. Above average across the board for almost all of his traits. What that tells me is that you can expect small to moderate sized calves at birth, but they will most certainly have above average growth potential. He would work great in a crossbreeding setting to help maximize that heterosis!!
I remember one of the first bulls C5342 raised ended up being our high selling bull sold to Greg Vanbeek in North Dakota. Up in that country, he had to cover so much rough terrain up and down the river breaks. This Lot 92 bull reminds me a lot of his older brother. Somewhat moderate but extremely thick and moves very free. Great purebred option right here, backed by a proven cow!!
It just does not get more gratifying than seeing a 13 year old cow still producing at a high level! A368 has been a patriarch in our balancer program for over a decade. One of the few females we have from the M & E Brilliance we purchased way back in the day. This guy would work great on heifers or cows. Very user friendly!! The Grandsire SAV Brilliance was a widely popular AI sire for heifers back in the 2000’s.
Lot 93 is officially our highest performing Fall aged bull. His F842 always raising a dandy!! This guy topped the scales in January at 1605 pounds!! Absolutely incredible!! The amount of dollars this type of purebred bulls will make you! You’ll need bigger pockets to fit all that extra money! Shane Struckman of Hazel, SD has really recognized the benefit of using these high performing aged bulls! This is definitely his type of bull!!
If you haven't taken advantage of Unrivaled genetics yet, here is your final warning!! Next year will likely be the last time we have any progeny to offer as he has aged out of his time here at Hojer Ranch. But I will say with confidence, his impact will have a lasting effect on our herd. He has added a dimension of frame, milking ability, and appearance that will last for decades. You are running out of

Attention!!! Here is an outstanding Purebred bull who is brought to us by one the greatest Astro females to ever walk the pastures at Hojer Ranch, and just so happens to be Jace’s first cow. I love the Chief Justice on the dam side. “Chief” has greatly influenced our herd over the years. Lot 100 is most definitely a breed changing female!!

GROUP 1 - 99.9% Gelbvieh females are getting to be a rare commodity. For all the balancer crazies out there, why do you think some of the original balancers were so good? It’s because the originals were the true F1 cross. There were diluted down like a lot of the balancers today are. Take this Lot 101 home and create a fresh F1 Balancer cross that will far exceed some of the options out there today!

GROUP 2 - Finnegan genetics have proven their worth in gold over the years. They inject some great calving ease without sacrificing growth. Some of our best younger red cows are Finnegan daughters. If you haven't given them a shot yet, here is your opportunity and I would strongly recommend this Lot 105!
GROUP 4 - Big Chester was born and raised here at Hojer Ranch. We loved him for his frame and length and also for the maternal qualities represented with Whiskey Eclipse on the dam side. We couldn't be more blown away by what we have seen out of this first calf crop. Exceptional growth and the females in particular have a very feminine look to them.
GROUP 7 - Super happy that we decided to give these Whirlwind genetics a try. They have provided a phenotype and extreme calving ease that we were looking for. The thing I love about these Whirlwind daughters, besides their great EPD profiles, is how attractive they are, particularly from their front shoulders forward. Lot 109 had great breeding versatility!!

Don’t
very often! They are the “cat’s meow” as they say! We are currently AI-ing to him heavily and we got
have proven, its that they will add a massive amount of thickness to their progeny! Diamond D Gelbvieh up in North Dakota sure produced a good one in Baller. I am very happy we decided to give him a try!

GROUP 9 - Lot 112 is a complete outcross purebred that you will not find anywhere else in the country. And add to that a purebred female that is Top 10% of the breed for marbling. Big time opportunity right in front of you with this Lot 112 heifer. Marbling is the new craze and this girl could be a missing link to the puzzle!
GROUP 9 - Just last year, this H0249 raised our high selling bull that sold to Davidson Gelbvieh up in Canada. We actually have our first calves on the ground out of BNC Gentleman L406 and they are fantastic! This Lot 113 has the pedigree with a proven track record. I love these high percentage females. If I were to build the national cow herd back up, I would do it with females like this!
with some guarantees. Having a pedigree with proven and consistent long term production is as good as it gets!!

GROUP 12 - Black purebred females that are top 4% for CE and top 20% for BW just don’t come around real often. There are new indexes that came out in the AGA last fall that we were encouraged to use as a tool. This girl is top 4% for FPI (Feeder profit Index) and top 1% for TPI ( Total Profit Index).

GROUP 13 - If you want to know the significance of having a Deep End female as your momma, just talk to Malorie Anderson! She purchased several Deep End daughters in our previous sale and absolutely can not get enough of them. Great udders, disposition, and high growth productivity!! Take advantage while you can!!
GROUP 6 - HUGE weaning weight heifer right here!!!! Why in the world would I let a 693 weaning weight heifer off the place? Its because we went ALL IN on Whiskey Eclipse from the get go and we just have enough of these females on the place. Just talk to Blaine Kemna down at Tavern Creek Gelbvieh - he has seen first hand the benefits of a Whiskey female!!

GROUP 13 - The first thing I thought of when I looked at the pedigree on the Lot 121 heifer was MILK! Class Action and Unrivaled are two very maternally focused sires. Sure enough this girl is top 15% of the breed and she even comes with great carcass merit! Top 10% for Marbling and top 1% for both FPI and TPI!!! Talk about a female that is destined to produce some prime grid toppers!!
GROUP 6 - This H008 female has had three heifer calves, and two of them have found their way into seedstock programs. And I have to just say, this year she currently has a her first bull calf at side and he has me all sorts of excited!! All I’m saying is that this cow has a track record of producing fantastic progeny. This Lot 125 is no different!
GROUP 6 - A very unique outcross in a red package is what you will find with this N594 female. I promise you, you will not find
packages that have Butlers Red Oak on the
is not the normal either. She is hands down the
we have raised. She is going to be a
genetics this whole time. If this girl was bred good enough for them, it should be for you!!

GROUP 8 - Beautiful young female right here!! Let our misfortune be your shining opportunity! What I mean by that is this Lot 127 female is just too young to fit into our breeding program. Its very unfortunate because I would love to see her as a mature cow walking the Hojer Ranch pastures with a 800 pound bull calf at her side. But because of her age, that bull calf will get to be roaming your pasture instead!!
GROUP 8 - Top notch Whiskey Eclipse females just keep knocking it out of the park like its Mark McGwire in a home run derby! This H015 female is one of our original Whiskey daughters and she continues to swing for the fences with every calf! This N5167 female is going to be an extremely powerful female that will do all the heavy lifting for you!!!

GROUP 8 - The name of the dam in this pedigree really paints the whole picture all by itself: MS Power!! That is exactly what you will find with this N5215 female. These 232K genetics pack a punch as powerful as Mike Tyson. And that is no exaggeration! This is a fantastic female that has a mile of
man, if looks could kill. Great chance to take home a red purebred power hitter!

GROUP 3 - This is the lone 417 Justice female in the offering and I can’t really put my find on why. She has the appearance of a purebred Angus female, the disposition of a Gelbvieh female, and the EPD profile we all desire! Seeing her for the first time will remind you of the epic movie scene from She’s AllThat when Laney walks down the stairs after getting a prom make over!! Yeah, its getting late, but you get my point!!

GROUP 3 - Make our loss your gain. Our program really has no interest in keep balancer females. Its just not the direction we are headed with our cow herd. That being said, we need to make balancer bulls and by default we will always have balancer females. This girl could very easily be the pick of the replacement pen. Take advantage of this top notch female!!
and BAM!! Its not really magic - I wish I could call myself a magician - but its plain old basic heterosis!! The best cross is 100% English bred to 100% Continental! Great crossbred female done the right way!!
GROUP 3 - Yeah I am kind of a fool for letting this girl enter the catalog. This N5136 female is absolutely tremendous. One of the best Ditka females I think we have ever produced. Tremendous growth with a 143 YW EPD. All I know is if I could have an entire herd of Lot 134’s,
GROUP 10 - Every now and then you just have to sit back and accept that accidents do happen. This mating wasn't necessarily an accident, but it was one of those cases where you just load the trailers and turn a bull out. Well, this K218 crossed with Unrivaled really worked its magic and the results are pretty desirable to say the least. Great female with tremendous upside!!

GROUP 5 - OK!!! This might go off the rails a bit. I have referred to awesome heifers as Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders in the past. I refuse to box this Lot 140 heifer in like that. I don’t care what your favorite team is. I mean heck, even the Steelers have to have at least one good looking cheerleader. Whatever your favorite team is, this girl will be front and center standing on the 50 yard line. She is that dang impressive!!!!

GROUP 5 - I know a guy down in Missouri, goes by the name of Vince Mariani. Vince has purchased several Deep End females from the past and absolutely can’t stop raving about their disposition. He has literally told me stories of the heifers trying to pick his pockets. Bottom line folks, these Deep End females are foundation type cows. Big producers and as gentle as a kitten!! Take this girl home and don’t think twice about it!!
GROUP 11 - Lot 144 is one of the last remaining females we have that traces back to the great Steve Schroeder cow herd. We purchased the bull Chisel from Steve a long time ago and he was the longest tenured bull we have ever walked. 10 Years!! This C5258 female has been fantastic for us. A sure fire sure thing!! I fully expect this N5161 to do the same for you!

GROUP 11 - One of the best herds of all red purebreds I have ever seen resides in Harrod, SD at the Bauer Ranch. We often purchase his heifer calves to put into our breeding program. I am telling you, these 232K females are exactly the type Rick likes. Not so ironically, that’s why I like them too! These are no nonsense females that are just going to go to work and not complain about the overtime!!

In 2026, we will be selling 300 commercial Heifers Private Treaty at our Ranch. Please talk to Blake or Alan. You can have the opportunity to walk through the heifers and pick the ones that you want for a down payment of $500/hd.
We will use the “You Pick ‘Em, We Breed ‘Em” protocol.
You pick the semen and we do all of the work. You pick up your bred heifers on October 1st, 2026. If the heifer is open, we refund the $500!!
No risk to you, just Pick ‘Em!!
The only costs you have above the purchase price is the Semen and Synchronizing cost. Sexed Semen may be available upon request and you may make arrangements to keep the heifers at our place beyond October 1st, 2026.
