EMBRYO PACKAGE RULES:

All embryo packages consist of three (3, unless stated otherwise) embryos. All embryos are fully guaranteed to consist of their respective mating described herein. There are no guarantees either written or oral as to the conception rate realized when using these embryos due to the geographical locations and nature of the event. Consignors will accept no responsibility if seller implants embryos on his/her own terms. An exception to the rule is if the buyer uses an embryo technician that is agreed upon by the seller and the buyer informs the seller of his intentions in writing (handwritten or email) prior to implanting the embryos, at least one pregnancy will be guaranteed per three embryos sold (unless stated otherwise in lot). In all cases, the buyer is responsible for all shipping and expense.

ALL EMBRYOS WILL BE SOLD PER EMBRYO.

RIGHT TO FLUSH RULES:

A minimum of six (6) embryos, Grade One, transferable embryos are guaranteed to the Buyer. In the event the chosen cow does not produce a minimum of six (6) embryos, the buyer will have the option of flushing the cow again until the minimum and only the minimum of six embryos is achieved, or the buyer may have the option of a prorated price per embryo return based on purchase price at the Black Hills Stock Show速. This settlement will be handled only through the buyer and seller. If the chosen cow produces more than six transferable embryos, all embryos will be the property of the buyer. Consignor is responsible for choosing the embryo technician and location for flushing procedure. This information will be available at auction time. The buyer will be responsible for the expenses associated with the embryo flush, unless otherwise stated. A written document will be signed by consignors and buyer after the sale that defines and guarantee terms and conditions of flush. Time range donor can be flushed will be included in document. If consignor does not follow time range agreed upon, consignor must be able to refund the purchase price paid. Flush schedule terms and technicians to be specified on entry forms.

PURCHASER WILL PAY 25% OF PURCHASE PRICE AT TIME OF SALE AND THE REMINDER OF THE PRICE DURING TIME OF FLUSH.

All embryo lots sell per egg times the number of eggs in the package. With choice lots the winning bidder gets the right to pick the mating of their choice and receive three eggs.

Started in 1959, The Black Hills Stock Show速 has been a premier location for livestock producers to show and sell quality livestock in the midwest. The Stock Show features 10 breeds of livestock show & sales, along with a commercial heifer show, and the elite Black Hills Gold Rush Cattle Genetics Sale.

The early days of the stock show featured 3 breeds of cattle; Angus, Shorthorn, and Hereford. The shows took place in an unheated barn at the Central States Fairgrounds. Today, the event is housed at a number of locations throughout Rapid City. The Livestock Shows are held at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center, where livestock, vendors, and other events convenient to buyers and consignors in the all-enclosed area. The Gold Rush Cattle Genetics Sale is held at the Rushmore Plaza Holiday Inn (walking distance from the Civic Center.) This event was started to celebrate the 50th Annual Black Hills Stock Show速 and has continued, marking the 2018 sale as the 10th Annual Black HIlls Gold Rush Sale.

Elba 3979 is about as balanced and complete as they come both in phenotype and genetic merit. Her Final Answer x Future Direction combination leaves her with 11 different traits in the top 25% of the breed. Her production record is just as impressive, she is the dam of the $45,000 Schiefelbein Effective and the $21,000 Schiefelbein Attractive as well as the top selling bred heifer in 2014 at $27,500. Showman was the $125,000 sale topper in 2019 that sold to Hamilton’s and Growth Fund sired 3 open heifer calves that sold in the fall of 2019 at Deer Valley for $26,000, $24,000 & $19,000.

He sold in the spring of 2018 for $93,000 and was used in moderation before his death. His service is very sought after as his first round of calves will be set to sell this spring.
