Senior Calf Champion 54th National Show and 2023 National Western Shown by Kennedy Hoffman, Thedford, Ne
You will love the balance and eye appeal of this full sister. Lot 2 is flawless in her design with a killer hip and hind leg. She offers a touch more top shape and turn to her upper rib as well. Good at the ground, stout boned and still backed by that proven pedigree. We think this one will fit well in that April division.
Brandon chose to lead off with this pair of females not only because of their individual quality, but also due to the extreme success of their full sisters throughout the years. Just look at the page to the left and you will quickly understand how prolific this mating can be. This year’s Lot 1 offers many of the same characteristics as her full sisters. Impeccable in her structural build, soft through her middle, and elegant from the side. 4506 has all the parts and pieces to feed into a great show heifer and an income generating donor.
DAUGHTERS OF Dottie & LisaDee
Lot 3 is a full sister to BRCHE Miss LisaDee 0502 PLD ET, the dam of the extremely popular Lot 4 below. This pair of females are as good as you will find all year. Lot 3 is extremely complete in her build, bold ribbed, clean in her design with the proper amount of bone and muscle to match her body type. I feel that this heifer is built to be shown right away and will be in the hunt everywhere she goes.
I am a big fan of this Lot 4 heifer. Sired by the National Champion 3 Aces Crushing Hearts and by the afore mentioned LisaDee, this female should be at the top of your must see list. You will appreciate her ability to blend a soft, feminine side profile with extra power both at the ground and from behind. She offers this in tandem with an extra correct structural build and nearly perfect range of motion. As a bonus, her pedigree allows a touch more breeding flexibility come breeding time.

FULL SISTERS BY Kiss This
This duo of full sisters by the multiple time champion Outer Banks and the proven donor Kiss This will certainly be sale features. Built extremely similar to one another, both are excellent through their front one-third, with good rib shape and the right kind of hip and hind leg to excel in the show ring. Their dam produced the $31,500 GCC HNRX Pumpkin Spice 190 who was calf Champion at the 2022 NWSS and Champion Charolais at the South Dakota State Fair. In his first crop of heifer calves Outer Banks produced a heifer that sold for $10,750.

Lot 7 is a prototype of what the Monopoly x Char cross has done for many years. She is chunky, stout, soft centered and built for the long haul. You should appreciate her soft, dark hair coat that will make her a dream to prepare on show day. We know this pedigree isn’t anything new, however we believe that this female stacks right up there with the cattle that made this mating famous.
MCC PEACH FUZZ
A High Chi female that we think has the potential to be big time. You will love her exotic neck set coupled with her added depth of rib and length of spine. Study this one in motion and you will see that her structure is designed to hold up as she continues to develop. The dual registered cattle are extremely popular for the obvious reason, and we think this one can be competitive in both rings.

lim-flex Show heifers
The Bertsche Family has been showing Lim-Flex heifers the past couple of years, and when they had the opportunity to add this female to their sale, they jumped at it. Collectivley, we believe that this one has a bright future. At 54% Limousin, Lot 9 is as smooth built, clean made, and as sound structured as you can make one. In the short amount of time that she has been in Onida she has improved every day, and we feel that she will continue to respond well to feed and develop into a high quality show prospect.
I have lot 10 very highly marked, I think she could be one of the best ones at the end of the day. Not only does this one have the quality and eye appeal to succeed at the highest levels, but her pedigree bolsters an already powerful female. She is a full sister to TJFR Kadillac ET, the Champion Lim-Flex Female at the 2024 Eastern Regional and Champion Bred & Owned at the 2024 Junior National. A full brother commanded $16,000 in the 2024 Linhart Limousin Bull Sale. And as a bonus her maternal granddam in none other than the immortal Riverstone Charmed

maternal sister to Halftime
Lot 11 is a strip faced Bankroll daughter by R&R Miss Cut Above Y127, the dam of FHEN Halftime A127. I like this one quite well. She is stout constructed, long spined, with plenty of center body and a great look from the side. We feel that her structural build is well suited to compete as a bred heifer and make a powerhouse cow. This is another female that not only checks the boxes in terms of phenotype, but she backs it up from a pedigree standpoint as well.

daughters of Carmen B86
This pair of heifers are maternal sisters produced by the great Carmen B86 donor. Raised by Heaton’s in Illinois, Carmen sold for $48,000 in the 2015 Griswold sale. She is the only existing maternal sib to the 2016 North American Champion Percentage Female shown by Heaton and the 2022 Champion Female at the Junior National shown by Sara Sullivan. Carmen has produced heifer calves that have sold for $105,000, $46,000, $27,000 and $21,000, all for Rosebud. This SAM daughter is sound structured, elegant from the side, and stout built.
Lot 13 is a Relentless daughter, once again by the Carmen donor, that would make her a full sister to the $105,000 high seller in Zane Ward’s 2022 sale. Extra bone and added rib shape complement this sound footed, stylish female. This female has the potential to compete wherever she is shown. Her genetics have shown the ability to excel not only as heifer calves but more importantly as breds and cows. Where lots 12 & 13 could really impact your program is when placed into production. Their genetic base if fairly limited and when mated appropriately, the sky is the limit.

full sisters by Ms Kay
Lots 14 & 15 are full sisters by Outsider and out of the 2014 Show Heifer of the Year TR Ms. Kay 30A ET. Ms. Kay sold in 2022 Gold Rush sale for a $28,000 valuation and has been a great producer since then. She is the dam of TR Legacy 1707J ET, 2022 National Champion Bull, as well as TR Ms. Danika 6718D, donor for Boyert-Core who produced the $13,000 BOY Cajun herd sire. Ms. Kay has a long list of other winners and high sellers to her name. Both of these females offer the best qualities of their donor dam. They are exquisite from the side profile, with plenty of shape and dimension, while still being structurally sound.

Lot 17 could have as much donor power in her pedigree as any animal in the sale. Her sire, LDSC BRCHE Luscious 1701, is out of the past Show Heifer of the Year 3R’S Angelina 343A ET a.k.a JoJo. The dam is a full sister to BRCHE TR Dory 6501, another decorated show heifer that turned into a tremendous donor. In the 2023 fall sale we sold a maternal sister to this female for $10,750. Do not overlook this heifer because she is later in the catalog, she could be as high quality as any in the offering. Many people that have seen the cattle have her in the top few on their list.
The next series of heifer calves are naturals out of donors for the program. Lot 16 is one that I like quite a bit. She has a great look from the side, is smooth built with an incredible design through her hip and hind leg. Her Foreigner x Outsider dam stems back to a clone of the immortal 0641 and will be an important donor for the operation in the future. This one should respond well to feed and has all the makings of a great show animal.

Take note of this heifer as she is a daughter of the Dottie donor and has plenty of potential. Study her for the basics and you will see that she is good cattle. Sound on her feet and legs with plenty of rib and a nice profile. We think there is room to grow with this heifer calf.

Lot 19 is a well-built, thick ended Copy White daughter that goes back to the 3557A donor for Boyert-Core. Take note of her breeding flexibility as you have the option to potentially go back on this female with Outsider or a son. We feel that with this one’s pedigree and age that she will only get better. Please do not overlook this heifer. Just because she is last in the catalog, I assure you she will not be last in the sale order. Of any female in the sale, I truly believe that this one has as much value and future. She has done a ton since they started working on her and I really appreciate her simple look of quality. Backed by extremely high quality genetics I think this one is definitely worth a look.
