BALANCE IS THE KEY BALANCE IS THE KEY, WHETHER IT IS IN A BREEDING PROGRAM FOR A PRODUCER, OR ACTIONS OF AN ASSOCIATION. As the Red Angus breed continues to grow tremendously, both commercial and seed stock Red Angus cattle are in high demand. Our membership has increased exponentially over the past few years, and our Junior program is off to a great start. Breeders listed in this directory are an asset to the breed and this Association, as these individuals take great care in providing and marketing top quality Red Angus genetics. Our presence in the marketplace continues as we showcase these genetics; JOIN US AT OUR ANNUAL OZARK RED ROUNDUP SALE, HELD APRIL 15, 2017 AT THE SPRINGFIELD LIVESTOCK MARKETING CENTER IN SPRINGFIELD, MO. With great leadership, our Junior program has skyrocketed and allowed us to support a presence at the 2016 Ozark Empire Fair and the 2016 Missouri State Fair. The importance of supporting and preparing our youth for leadership in the future is something that will remain at the forefront of our association. As our Junior Advisors continue their focus on the next generation of Red Angus producers, we have a positive outlook on what the future holds for MOJRAA. A successful first year for the Missouri Red Angus Bull Test has led us to offer the 2nd Annual MORAA Bull Test program in preparation for our 2017 Ozark Red Roundup sale.

Detailed performance information provided to buyers provides a fair and equitable opportunity to consignors to consign red angus bulls to our spring sale. Updates on the Bull Test can always be found on WWW.MISSOURIREDANGUS.COM. The donated time and expertise of the Missouri Red Angus Board of Directors is a valued asset in our state association; however, there is equal value in our producer members who make day to day decisions that directly benefit the breed that we care so much for. Together we are a balanced team comprised of commercial and seed stock producers, all working toward a greater cause, to raise the best quality red angus cattle possible. Please use this Breeders Directory as a tool in growing your red angus herd, visit with our members, and feel free to share with any farm or ranch operation that would benefit from Red Angus genetics.

MORAA Bull Sales & Marketing Program To further advance the mission of the Missouri Red Angus Association to promote the breed in the State of Missouri, we have developed and approved a new program for developing and marketing bulls at the current April sale venue in Springfield.

The entire Board of Directors has reviewed and approved the new bull consignment process. Please recognize the entire process is built on the foundation that the Red Angus breed is one of the best commercially focused breeds in the cattle industry. All efforts by the Board supports the commercial breeder’s needs and that ultimately, the buyer is the one who determines what they value and what price point they will pay.

Fall entry date: October 1st for Jan., Feb., March 15 born bull calves.
