Loyal Words

So, do you think our own words pay singular attention to what we say and write? Or do they have a life of their own, perhaps continually commenting about us. You know, like, ‘ha! he says it, but doesn’t really mean it’. Or are they always loyal servants, believing everything we convey, doing whatever we want? But, sometimes, don’t words just escape from your mouth as though you lack input, control? See what I mean! It’s probably safer to treat words with great respect, just in case. We don’t want them angry, out of control, rebelling, causing us all kinds of trouble.
