Here’s how we build your financial aid package:

First, we award scholarships. Academic scholarships range from $4,000 to $16,000 per year depending on your grade point average (GPA) and ACT or SAT scores (optional). Achievement scholarships recognize your accomplishments and the promise of future achievement at GC, and range from $1,000 to full tuition.

Then we add need-based grants.

Next, we offer student loans.

And finally, we add church aid and work-study.
Up to $10,100 in Indiana grants and up to $6,345 in federal grants, plus institutional need-based aid. This is gift aid, so it doesn’t need to be paid back.
First-year students can borrow a maximum of $5,500 in federal loans. Parent loans and private loans are also available.
Our church aid matching grant will apply dollar-for-dollar to the first $1,000 your church gives. First-year students can earn a maximum of $1,000 in work-study income.
Once you take the scholarships, grants and loans into account, you’ll find that a Goshen College education is significantly less than the original sticker price.

File the FAFSA: File the FAFSA to be considered for all the federal, state and institutional need-based aid for which you are eligible. • You and one parent need to create an FSA ID and password at fsaid.ed.gov to sign the FAFSA electronically.
• Goshen’s priority deadline for submitting the FAFSA is March 1 to get your best package.
• The FAFSA application is available for free to complete at fafsa.gov after October 1. We encourage all families to file regardless of income.
• Financial aid packages will be processed and awarded to students who have been accepted to Goshen.
• Use the IRS data retrieval tool to import your, and your parents’, tax information directly into the FAFSA. • Be sure to indicate on your FAFSA that you want a copy sent to Goshen College. (CODE 001799)
