Description of Work: I create hand-pulled prints on a hand-turned printing press experimenting with monoprints, collagraphs, woodcuts and solarplate etchings. Each design is either carved in a block, painted on plexi-glass, etched on a metal plate or constructed out of recycled materials. I am an European trained printmaker with an American Folk Art sensibility. Vivid in color, and rich in story, my work conveys a childlike whimsy and wonder at our magical world. My adventures and the stimuli of children, travel, music, foreign cultures and the natural world inform my life’s work as an artist.

Description of Work: My quilts vary in size and shape, but I like to make them colorful with different textures. I never really plan an exact direction for my quilts but like to kick start the idea and follow where it leads.
