Festival of Speed is the world’s greatest celebration of automotive culture. Reaching a vast audience of passionate motoring and motorsport fans both at Goodwood and online around the world, the event is a globally recognised platform for major manufacturers. The famous hill features an array of iconic and exhilarating machinery, from F1 to NASCAR, WRC to IndyCar, Supercar to Extreme E – not to mention some of the world’s most famous and accomplished drivers in competition.
The hill has also become a stage where synthetic fuel and electric powered cars are contenders for the coveted title of fastest run as we continue to champion sustainable solutions across the event. More futurefacing stories are brought to life at FOS Future Lab, the festival’s immersive technology experience which brings together innovative solutions to create an interactive adventure through inspiring ideas from the likes of the European Space Agency, MIT, Oxford Robotics Lab and IBM.

Four years later, he won the Formula 1 World Championship, becoming the first, and still the only, person to win world championships on both two and four wheels. A lifelong friend of Goodwood, he became a patron of Festival of Speed in 1993.
