Walk ~10 mins to Talstation Stanserhorn for the Funicular and CabriO aerial cableway up Mount Stanserhorn (tickets purchased on the day).
FUNICULAR AND CABRIO
The fascinating rides up the Stanserhorn on the funicular railway (which dates back to 1893) and the world’s only CabriO aerial cableway (launched 2012) are like a journey through cableway history. Once at the summit, enjoy a meal – such as our Älplermagronen served in an edelweiss pot – in the revolving restaurant and browse the well-stocked souvenir shop, talk to the Stanserhorn rangers and admire the marmots, the 100-kilometre long Alpine chain and 10 Swiss lakes, visit the nature reserve containing enchanting fauna and flora, and much more. 1900 metres above everyday life – welcome to the Stanserhorn’s cableways.
TANDEM HANG GLIDING AT MT STANSERHORN
The highest hanggliding tandemflight in Switzerland. Fly for 20-60 minutes. The CabriO cable car takes you up to the summit of Mt Stanserhorn at close to 2000m.
