As we reflect on 2024, we are overwhelmed with gratitude for the resilience and determination of the Goodwill Industries of the Valleys community. This year, together, we created opportunities, inspired growth, and empowered individuals across our region to build brighter futures.

Through the generosity of our donors, the dedication of our team, and the trust of those we serve, we’ve made remarkable strides in transforming lives. Whether it was through providing essential job training or creating pathways for people with barriers to find meaningful employment, our mission remained at the heart of every effort.

As promised, the first pillar of this project opened in November with the Market on Melrose. This momentous effort ended the existence of a food desert that was in existence for more than 40 years!

Goodwill Industries of the Valleys

empowers individuals through job training, career navigation, and employment

services funded by donations and store sales. Services like My Career Advisor offer resume-building, skills training,

and job search tools. Career Navigation

helps individuals develop their skill sets,

complete trainings, and earn credentials

that empower them to reach their career

goals. Beginning in August 2025, The Excel Center® will help adults earn high school diplomas and industry credentials.

Specialized services support older

workers, individuals with disabilities, and those needing Medicaid waiver

programs. The Senior Community Service Employment Program helps low-income
