Susan Koenig has been connected for over 25 years to Goodwill Industries of Greater Nebraska through our Human and Legal Rights Board, a group dedicated to protecting the rights of people living with disabilities. Susan is the legal backbone and judicious expert for this team and one of the most professional, empathetic, responsive and caring individual anyone will ever meet.

While her legal expertise, desire to see the entire picture, direction, and advice helps us resolve difficult, sensitive, and complex situations, it is her compassion, humanity and willingness to go the extra mile that leaves us in awe.

She may never know the number of people and families she helped us serve, turn their lives around or literally save, but we hope she knows that there are so many people thankful for her commitment to making lives better.

We wish we could send her the thousands of pictures of those she helped. We are forever grateful and eternally thankful. With great honor and respect, we thank Susan Koenig with the Vision for the Future Award for her sacrifice, compassion, knowledge, and gift of love for helping others.
