Spring esories Acc

By Christina DiMaria

Spring is all about being flirty and fun. From your head to your toes, you must have the items that scream, “Spring is here!” What better way to accomplish this, than with the latest accessories, since you need to have the colors that are hot for the season, as well as the accessories to pull the whole look together. Tribal Themed Purses and Other Apparel

6 | www.theGOODSmag.co • March 2012

The tribal theme has been spotted in Donna Karan’s recent spring collection in the form of dresses and other apparel; however, this motif is popular with accessories, too. Adding a purse or a necklace or even a pair of shoes with a tribal theme is quite trendy. Missoni designed a stunning purse with a blue and green sequin pattern that incorporated the tribal look. This might not be quite budget friendly, so you may want to check out the tribal purse designed by Forever21. It’s green, white, orange and brown, and comes with a price tag of under $75.

Jeweled Embellishments Jeweled embellishments on your purse or other accessories are totally in this season. If you’re looking for a way to glam up your outfit choose an ornate bracelet. Not only will it give your a little bling, but it will also help you stay current with today’s fashions. To save you some cash, you could always opt for faux gems, rather than expensive rubies, sapphires and other precious jewels.

White Yes, white is a spring color and it’s worn every year around this time. However, this year white is truly in style. White looks pretty, prim and proper, which makes it a must have for every fashionista. You can add a hint of eggshell colored using a pair of earrings or with a cute pair of stilettos. Either way, you’ll be following one of this year’s trends.

Silver and Chrome

Dangle Earrings If you’re anything like the women here at The G.O.O.D.S, then you hated to see dangle earrings fade. Well, guess what? You don’t have to fret, since these earrings are back for spring! Purchase those cute chandelier earrings that match your outfit or grab a pair of diamond drop earrings that will go with virtually anything.

7 | www.theGOODSmag.co • March 2012

The futuristic look is definitely a hit this spring. Silver or chrome nail polish is a hot nail fashion this season. In addition, silver and chrome high heels can really put a little oomph into your step. Designers like Louis Vuitton and Marc Jacobs added a futuristic look to their fashions, but you can purchase a much more cost efficient option at your local department store.

Dress Best for Less

By AnTaylor

Ever wonder if Christian Louboutin offers payment plans on their red bottoms, or if Oscar de la Renta will put that must have happy hour dress on hold for about 3 paychecks, or if Bailey Banks and Biddle will loan you that same bracelet they loaned Rihanna for her red carpet affair? Well if you’re a sensible person like me than you probably come to the conclusion that the Siri voice on your Iphone 4S is about the closest you’re going to come to celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe’s voice when styling your wardrobe. So you’re stuck for now with trying to celebritize your wardrobe on a budget.

Some of my favorite spots to grab celebrity looks at bargain prices.

Forever feel 21

28 | www.theGOODSmag.co • March 2012

Forever XXI is the most social variety clothing boutique found in a mall. Their reasonable prices can keep you from robbing peter to pay paul and the great thing is you can find items ranging from happy hour evening wear to vintage errand girl.

Macy Madness Can you say 35-50% CLEARANCE, that is a bargain shoppers favorite word and red tags are always in season at Macy’s, there always great finds like riding boots for under 150.00 or vintage bags for less than 70 bucks. The great thing about Macy’s is that it’s not a one stop shop even men can enjoy the great savings on polo and Tommy Hilfiger wear.

Where is Aldo This contemporary heaven cost friendly spot always has great deals on men and woman shoes, it’s a guarantee that you can leave there knowing your hard earned money was invested wisely. $200 dollars can buy you shoes for him and her and even an accessory to match her

Ah the awesome heaven of vintage consignment boutiques. The best penny savor place in fashion land. I once walked away with an official Marc Jacobs 2009 spring collection blazer for just 9 bucks from a consignment boutique, Now that’s bargain and nothing is considered last season the proper term for last year news is vintage. My saying is another man’s trash is a shopaholic’s pleasure.

By no means should style ever mean broke.

pring 2012 Runway Looks S Maybe, you just like to keep up with the trends on the runway. Or, you might be one of those people who must have what your favorite model is wearing. Either way, spring 2012 has brought some interesting fashions to the catwalk. Every designer from Versace to Donna Karan to Christian Dior served up their own collection that truly was unique.

30 | www.theGOODSmag.co • March 2012

During Fashion Week, Versace sent models down the runway wearing apparel centered around one theme—the ocean. If it swims, has gills or can catch a ball on the end of its nose, then it was part of the inspiration for this collection. Both separates and dresses utilized sea lion prints, and a few garments were covered in pale-colored starfish. Even the evening gowns possessed an under the sea theme. For instance, some of the eveningwear was adorned with bejeweled starfish. Although the color scheme of Versace’s collection was pale, it definitely stood out with the gold zippers and studded embellishments.

Chanel took a different approach to spring fashion, by using simple colors with basic, yet elegant designs. White and black were a staple hue for this collection; however, every so often there were pops of color with shades of blue and pink. Sophisticated, A-line dresses seemed to be the focal point of Chanel’s spring collection.

For spring, Donna Karan was inspired by a tribal theme derived from her recent trip to Haiti. While visiting, she absorbed every aspect of the Haitian culture. For instance, the brushstroke prints resulted from the bold work of the artist Philippe Dodar. Though her work may have been roused from her trip, that doesn’t mean that the collection isn’t modern because it does have an urban flare to it. With a palette consisting of earth tones and asymmetrical dresses, this collection was definitely different from her last. Donna always seems to bring her own signature style, but makes it look fresh.

The spring collection presented by Christian Dior showcased refinement at its greatest. Dior produce his collection using basic colors such as red, black, white, gray and tan, and created ensemble-after-ensemble that was far from being simplistic. His white kneelength dress embroidered with a flower pattern merged a traditional look with a modern twist to make something truly phenomenal.

31 | www.theGOODSmag.co • March 2012

Armani remained faithful to one of his fave styles, a blazer with a plunging V-shaped neckline. His Milan Fashion Week show was comprised of daring Vs and shades of blue. Versace wasn’t the only one to use the ocean as a muse, because Georgio’s collection featured hints of blue that reflected the color of the sea.

A Breath of Fresh Air By AnTaylor

People always stop to ask me what’s that scent I’m wearing and how do I get it to leave the lasting smell even when I’ve walked out the room, I simply answer soap and water just a scrub in the right spots and you got yourself a fresh scent. Normally a response like that gets a couple of blank stares and a snicker so it leaves me to spill my spring secrets and the spots they work best. When you think of spring your mind reflects on soft sweet smelling flowers, citrus notes that whisper oh so softly to your nose. Light tickles that linger in the air even when you have left minutes ago. Some of my favorite spring smells are:

40 | www.theGOODSmag.co • March 2012

Bath and Body Works and Bali Mango body spray, this exotic fruit combined into a mist can drive you and everyone around hungrily insane, for just a light aroma, spray a cloud of Bali Mango about two feet from you and walk into to it like you’ve just gracefully walked into a crowd of hungry animals. You can top it off with the body lotion to keep this long lasting fragrance vibrant throughout the day.

Issey Miyake, an all time favorite for my men this modern elegant fragrance with nutmeg and leather undertones and grapefruit combinations keeps a man feeling masculine but smelling superb.

David Beckam Instinct, the name speaks for itself what woman doesn’t want a David Beckam, this masculine smell is geared towards the younger cupids who want to keep that vibrant and energetic appeal.

The Key to a spring fling is not just in how you smell but it’s how you deliver the fragrance.

41 | www.theGOODSmag.co • March 2012

Heat by Beyonce, instantly when you see the name Beyonce you think anything from her has to be strong, fierce and a little overbearing but surprisingly this soft and subtle Georgia peach aroma is very pleasing to the nose.

LNA

42 | www.theGOODSmag.co • March 2012

Despite the fact that LNA was established in 2007, their look is constantly updating. In fact, what started as a business selling only signature cotton tees and leggins has morphed into an entire brand sold in various stores across the U.S. The owners, Lauren Alexander and April Leight, introduced leather jackets in 2011, and you can definitely expect to see this duo tackling an assortment of other apparel in the upcoming year.

Saks Fifth Avenue and Madison Los Angeles are just two of the retailers that keep LNA’s fashion on stock. This brand might be sold nationwide and internationally; however, average consumers aren’t the only ones who are raving about the company’s apparel. They even have a celebrity fan-base, which includes stars, such as the Kardashians and Kate Moss. Even men like Ryan Gossling and Brad Pitt appreciate LNA’s style.

Inspiration comes naturally to this duet. Both women are California natives and use the desert and beaches as their muse. This doesn't mean that their clothes aren't trendy because they incorporate the high fashion looks of downtown New York. The team wants to create everyday items that act as fashion staples in anyone's closet.

43 | www.theGOODSmag.co • March 2012

The small clothing line branched into something far bigger than these two ladies could ever have imagined. From tees to dresses, you name it, LNA sells it. In addition to the feminine fashions and comfy t-shirts, sunglasses and men's cardigans also comprise the pair's product lineup. These two don't just stick with one trend either. Each season you can expect something new and original. The color palette used is composed of a wide variety of colors, and every ensemble is truly unique, such as their two-tone dress, their angle dress or their seemed cape.

“Sherlock Holmes 2: A Game Of Shadows” has nothing more surprising

50 | www.theGOODSmag.co • March 2012

In the good old London society, businesses ran smoothly, especially the bad ones. On the field, detective Sherlock Holmes charismatically played by Robert Downey Jr., is without restriction, a pure Hollywood hero. The eyes constantly hiding out, perfected fighting techniques, “cancer free” cigarette in a mouth, he ingeniously hunts down the elite trickeries and saves the world from injustice. Over the top exalted, Sherlock’s character is not really realistic. Doctor John H.Watson (Jude Law), Holmes’s faithful sidekick, is a wise supporting role. A charming slow dance, secret interplay of glances and Holmes wearing in a scene, a reproving female disguise: the unbeatable duo offers a curious gay subtext. H.Watson’s young wife (Kelly Reilly) was decidedly disturbing on the way. At the drawn of a declaration of war historically unavoidable, “Sherly” strives to slow down the clock whose elusive rhythm leads Europe on the edge of the abyss. On the dark side, the demoniac Jared Harris casts in a role of a prospective evil, Doctor Moriarty, who, in search of power, stirs up the sinews of war short of revolutionary bombing attacks. Revolution, meant to be a glorious march of freedom, has a bitter taste in the second part. Sim (Noomi Rapace) a gypsy fortuneteller is a fallen activist reached quickly by her past. Sherlock and Moriarty play a brilliant game of cat and mouse – who will be the last checker on the royal chessboard? The ingenious screenplay, full of pitfalls and revelations, takes shape rapidly. Filmmaker Guy Ritchie, has somehow resuscitated Sir Conan Doyle masterpiece on the screen and starves moviegoers of new adventures. The movie reveals a beating soundtrack, which goes crescendo soon enough after a sluggish and a mannered play of role in the beginning. With a nice touch of humor, a talented casting and tumultuous visual and sound effects, “A Game of Shadow” is immoderate and magic However, the whole plot is not relatively more surprising than the first episode, which seems to cast a shadow over it. Maybe, the third shot will play the game well.

Movie Reviews “Amador” is a bus tour of human feelings “Amador” is not a stereotypical love affair but a questing for happiness. Marcela (Magaly Solier), long black hair soft like wool, slanting dark eyes and gloomy face is a dried flower looking for water and light. Stuck inert and silent in a middle of a lifeless flat, she sees in her husband, Nelson (Pietro Sibille) no future, nothing to share, just a fridge full of stolen roses, which smell the deodorizer for bathroom. Broke, Marcela finds a job caring for a bed-ridden older man; Amador. Almost medicated like a drug addict, he rebuilds life and wisdom by fitting together the pieces of a puzzle and shares his thoughts with his new assistant. Disoriented, attention and human conversations have a healing effect and help Marcela gathering scattered emotions puzzled by the past. Amador dies on the way, Marcela not ready to lose her job, takes the risk, keeps the body and the secret. Filmmaker Fernando León de Aranoa hollows in the depth of feelings. Marcela is deeply desperate, she cries, sulks, smiles and laughs; she survives. Natural acts and dialogs are just what she needs, she exists though people’s humanism and divine signs to fill the emptiness of her own existence. Magaly Solier as the leading role gets the right into the part; her facial expressions are meaningful and communicating. “Amador” is also a slow-paced movie with traveling music. The film is a poetic routine of bus route, of dreaming gaze skyward, of clues left by someone who came before in the apartment – a tiny touch of suspense and mystery. Like Marcela’s beauty; natural, the movie is not made with superficial effect. No beautified background neither; scenes were shot in the urban areas of Madrid and Barcelona. Far awayfrom the Hollywood racket, “Amador” offers a charming moment of relaxation. Foreign productions have always something different to propose.

52 | www.theGOODSmag.co • March 2012

“Amador” is in overall, a realistic social drama where rejection and wounds are dressed by unpredictable encounters. Marcela can be anybody, everywhere. The director met her by taking a bus everyday. The old Amador will be haphazardly for her, a newfound source of happiness. And flowers…they are still fragrant after death, eternally symbolic.

Artist Highlight san diego artist...

Scott W. Gillen

by: Solomon Osayande Jr.

By day, talented artist and home painting specialist Scott Gillen’s main career is painting homes as he is a residential home painting specialist beautifying properties through out the San Diego Community. Scott’s adorning touch can be seen on a wide range of properties “from complete interior/exterior painting of 15,000+ square foot estates to routine maintenance for local schools, bed and breakfasts, and rental property managers to climate-proofing multi-million dollar ocean-front properties”. Over 20 years in the business have allowed Scott to become a home painting expert as well as President of S.W. Gillen Painting INC., a full service painting company responsible for enhancing residences across the San Diego Community. While Scott is spending his days bringing his home servicing company’s touch to residences throughout beautiful San Diego, it is his talent and passion for art, which keep Scott burning the midnight oil and producing indelible artwork. When Scott Gillen is not beautifying homes throughout San Diego County, he is using his trade to create wondrous works of art inspired by the leader of the pop art movement himself, Andy Warhol. Scott evokes the colorful side of Warhol’s pop art while fashioning his own style of art. In the art world, Gillen’s interests are in portraits, art nouveau, and Japanese-themed art which have helped influence his personal style. Scott classifies his style as fine art meets pop art, as well as lowbrow; however, this talented artist can paint several different styles of work and welcomes the challenge to expand his creative horizons. Scott began his budding art career 12 years ago by drawing and taking print technique courses. After a brief hiatus, Scott resumed on his path towards becoming an artist at the Salon of Art where he began sharpening his craft with his introduction to acrylic and oil painting. After putting together a show for his peers to showcase his work, Scott’s talent as an artist began to take notice. Scott now puts on a few shows a year as time permits; still juggling his home painting service and the works of art that he creates.

66 | www.theGOODSmag.co • March 2012

It is only a matter of time until Scott’s creations will be known to the public as his artistic ability, which currently has been kept to moonlighting, may soon serve as a replacement for his day job. When asked about the possibility of creating art for a living, Scott acknowledged that he would certainly embrace the idea, claiming that painting is one of his great passions as he gets the chance to meet new people, but creating art for a living would be more than just an ideal situation. Scott’s work comes in a wide assortment of colors, shapes and sizes and can be viewed by going to his website artsbyswgillen.com. On his website there are detailed descriptions of the artwork that Scott creates (Artist Embellish on canvas, Limited Edition on Canvas, Fine Art Prints) as well as a detailed description of the cost breakdown of all of his paintings on an easy to read, downloadable price sheet. Be sure to look out for one of Scott’s upcoming shows, this talented artist, better known to the San Diego Community as a home painting specialist will soon be making a name around the community as an artist that not only beautifies the exterior and interior of homes but also provides brilliant works of art that make welcomed additions to any home or office.

March into your own

by SheMarie

If you do not believe in your dream, how will you expect others too.

68 | www.theGOODSmag.co • March 2012

The New Year is here and so are you! Every year we set these resolutions that should have been accomplished or could have been checked off the bucket list the previous year. For the ones that did not make it happen we have 2012. For all of the things that were on your mind and you had not put effort into, try it this time around. Let this year be your year. March into your own! Know that anything you have put your mind to and have pride in will happen. The person that makes it reality is you. No matter how much you know it does not matter if there is no action behind it. Every day serves a purpose, make the most of them. Try smiling a bit more. Be optimistic, and resourceful. I am sure you have heard the phrase, “where there is a will, there is a way.” Keep this in your mind. Keeping this fresh can be a reminder that just because one strategy did not work does not mean your goal will not be accomplished. Certain things need to be approached with appropriate timing. In many cases the issue is beneath surface. Maybe you are the only one holding back. Do not hinder your progress before you have the chance to take a step. If you do not believe in your dream, how will you expect others too. I am thinking you have heard these things before. This was not written to fill space. This was written for you in optimism.

There is room at the top! Let’s get our stuff together and march into our own!

Music News: Hot Albums to help heat 2012 Up!

76 | www.theGOODSmag.co • March 2012

As we enter the spring months, the music world is starting to heat up. With releases from pop megastars like Mariah Carey and Madonna to bands like Maroon 5, to hip hoppers like Nicki Minaj, and even down tempo-pop stars such as John Mayer and Lionel Richie, the coming months are jam-packed with hot new music. So we’ve decided to talk to spotlight a few of the projects themselves to gain insight into what went into the artist’s muchanticipated releases. Check it out below.

NICKI MINAJ Nicki Minaj’s sophomore effort, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, is only a few weeks away from dropping and recently she shared the cover art via Twitter. Nicki told MTV the album’s going to be a “doozy…It’s gonna be important for just hip-hop culture and pop culture.” The cover itself is very stylized and bubbly, much like her persona, though we’ll have to see which way the pendulum swings for the actual musical content. Roman Reloaded hits retail on April 3rd.

MARIAH CAREY Mariah Carey is planning her return to the music scene after taking some time off to focus on her marriage and her two beautiful babies Moroccan and Monroe, with Nick Cannon.

She’s rejuvenated and ready to start sharing some of the amazing new music she has been making in the studio! It’s time she reclaims her spot as pop’s leading diva! The songbird was snapped working in the studio in Atlanta recently with longtime collaborator Jermaine Dupri (“We Belong Together”). Now that she’s looking great, in a wonderful mind frame, time will tell just how hot her new music will be.

77 | www.theGOODSmag.co • March 2012

She’s started 2012 off with a huge Jenny Craig campaign and she looks amazing!! Then she was awarded with a BET Honor Award. Now she’s ready to hit the radios with a new album!

BEYONCE Given that it’s only been a couple months since Beyonce gave birth to, most likely, the world’s youngest female recording artist, Blue Ivy Carter, she isn’t showing any signs of letting up. According to MTV, Ryan Tedder, frontman for Pop/ Rock band OneRepublic, is already in talks to work on some new material with the superstar mom who he says has plans to release 2 albums this year. “The conversations about her next album literally just started and there [are] two projects happening. All I can say is you kind of feed her the best that you have and she›s this phenomenal filter and she takes it all in.

MADONNA Since the early ‘80s Madonna has defined a certain brand of pop-music and pop-stardom, and while it’s difficult to think of any other performer -- female or otherwise -- who’s come close to being her better, the Top 40 landscape has changed significantly since her last album, 2008’s Hard Candy. The electro-pop Madonna has revelled in -- and occasionally reinvented -- since the ‘80s is everywhere, and pop stars including Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and Nicki Minaj are building their own multi-discipline cults of personality that might one day rival Madonna’s own. It’ll be curious to see how Madonna’s latest will fit in the dance-pop saturated landscape,. Her last album, Hard Candy, was released in April 2008. Madonna’s 12th album will be called M.D.N.A. Get it? It’s like “Madonna” without the vowels (and that extra letter “N”). Or is it?

With the next album, M.D.N.A, expected soon the gap will exceed the three years and five months between 1994’s Bedtime Stories and 1998’s Ray of Light. Madonna has seven No. 1 albums, 12 No. 1 singles and has sold more than 26.9 million albums since 1991, according to Nielsen SoundScan. (Her career predates the SoundScan era.)

New Faces, Classic Style on the Oscar’s Red Carpet this Year There were lots of new faces hitting the carpet at the 84th annual Academy Awards this year, but they brought with them a lot of old Hollywood glamour. Emma Stone in red Giambattista Valli and Jessica Chastain in Alexander McQueen were among those making bolder-than-normal choices at the Hollywood & Highland Center in Los Angeles. Stone’s gown had a high-neck bow, a trend on the designer runways right now, and Chastain’s black strapless gown designed by McQueen creative director Sarah Burton was embroidered with gold bullion and metallic thread. Some seasoned style stars stepped up their game, too, including Michelle Williams in a burnt-orange Louis Vuitton covered with delicate details, Jennifer Lopez in a crystalcovered Zuhair Murad, Cameron Diaz in a strapless sandcolored Gucci and Penelope Cruz in a feminine, off-theshoulder, smoky-blue Armani Prive. Angelina Jolie did her simple, sexy thing in a black strapless gown with a high slit by Atelier Versace. Gwyneth Paltrow went sleek and chic in a white Tom Ford that had a matching slim cape, and Stacy Keibler was statuesque in gold lame Marchesa. “Stacy’s dress was chosen straight off the Fall ‘12 runway. The fabric has real gold metal woven into it, which gives it an almost liquid feel,” described Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman, herself an Oscars attendee in Marchesa on the arm of husband Harvey Weinstein.

“I was at fashion week, saw it on the runway and was like, ‘I need to have that,’” Keibler said. Paltrow, who has done the Oscars as a pink princess and Goth rebel in past years, made the best-dressed lists of InStyle fashion director Hal Rubenstein and Louise Roe, Glamour magazine’s editor-at-large. “Gwyneth had the unexpected dress, and I find that very appealing,” Rubenstein said. “Absolute knockouts were the simplest,” said Roe, co-host of ABC’s live coverage. “I died for Gwyneth in Tom Ford with its elegant cape, Emma Stone in fuchsia halter-neck Valli and chunky-crystal Vuitton clutch. Shailene Woodley was a home run in Valentino and Jessica Chastain in classic gold McQueen. Wow.”

He said he liked that there wasn’t a cookie-cutter look; there wasn’t one way to describe this red carpet. “One thing I did love is that it was a night not about one shape — not just the clothing, but the women.” His “wowza movie-star moment” belonged to Lopez. “Jennifer Lopez did exactly what you want Jennifer Lopez to do,” he said. Later, during the telecast, Lopez looked close to having a wardrobe malfunction with her plunging V neck. Viola Davis’ emerald-green, corset-style gown by Vera Wang had a little beading on the bustline and a chiffon pleated skirt. She matched her earrings to the jewel tone of the gown, which seemed a popular trend. Melissa McCarthy also did it, pairing her rose Marina Rinaldi with crystal neckline and waistband with 10-carat diamond earrings decorated with pink diamonds by Chopard and a pink tourmaline cocktail ring. Her high-school pal, shoe designer Brian Atwood, made her glittery shoes. “He put a beautiful inscription on the bottom of the shoes, which made me cry and almost ruined all my makeup.”

Octavia Spencer continued to work with Tadashi Shoji on her awards-show wardrobe, this time in a hand-beaded, draped ivory gown with cap sleeves. Milla Jovovich, best known as a model, channeled a screen siren in a one-shoulder, white-beaded Elie Saab gown. “I wanted something very clean, structured, like a statement piece without being overpowered,” she said. “Old Hollywood never goes away, it never goes out of fashion, but ‘The Artist’ brought it back for a generation that didn’t know about Hollywood at that time,” Hewett said. “It’s how we love the stars to look.”

Meryl Streep doesn’t always do it up for awards shows but she did this time in a gold dress by Lanvin that she paired with antique gold pendant earrings and a 19th-century diamond cluster ring by Fred Leighton.

Corinne Durnal Recent Bellus Academy graduate Corinne Durnal is a new and welcomed addition into the world of fashion. Self-characterized as an “artist of beauty”, Corinne’s artistic touch was ever apparent at her academy’s graduation on February 26th as Corinne’s creative aptitude was on display for family, friends and onlookers at the Academy’s ceremony. Corrine was responsible for providing cut and make-up to select models as they graced the runway for everyone to see. The walking canvases that Corinne used to showcase her abilities provided an array of colors and styles of cut that were of professional quality and served not only as a great representation of her school’s top of the line instruction; but also as a live display of the talents of one of its skilled graduates. Corinne finds inspiration in changing the way that people think and feel about themselves. Durnal claims that she “loves the fact that she can be creative in a practical way” expressing her artistic side as well as her creative side as she describes it by “applying her mathematical skills” to hair and make-up, making sure that she perfects the angles and shapes of the designs that she is creating. While Corinne’s style may have been influenced by the knowledgeable teachers that she has learned from, her drive to be successful at what she does comes from her family, who have inspired her to be the most that she can be.

If given the opportunity to choose from any job within the fashion realm, Corinne would like to work bi-coastally, doing hi-fashion or editorial work for magazines. Her enthusiasm for art and fashion may one day be on display at New York’s fashion week or talked about in a popular fashion magazine; but until hi-fashion comes knocking, Corinne is seeking a spa or saloon that would be a good fit for her artistry and her creativity. Believing it is never too late to get into the world of fashion; Corinne who was bitten by the creative bug at the young age of 14, did not start fashion school until just this past year. If a person is faced with hesitations about exploring an artistic endeavor Corinne offers the advice, “just do it”, claiming the worst days are often what shape the most incredible opportunities.
