Memorializing the birth of Jesus Christ, Christmas in America is both a holiday and a holy day. With the exception of a few service providers, such as waitresses and bartenders, people typically take the day off from work and try and spend some quality time with their friends and family.

There are almost an infinite number of reasons why people love Christmas. You can, however, boil the primary reasons down to a handful of similar concepts. As such, here are our top five reasons. 5. CHRIST-mas Tree Design Counters ‘War on Christmas’ Boss Creations, a faith-inspired holiday decor company, has re-launched its innovative CHRIST-mas Tree, featuring an illuminated cross in the center of a fir-style tree. Marsha Boggs, the owner of the company, says it was specifically created to counter the "war on Christmas." nificance of the Christmas season and Christianity in America." The growing debate over the "War on Christmas" has erupted in legal battles and widespread media attention in recent years. Bans on religious symbolism in public areas and retailers who substitute "happy holidays" for "Merry Christmas" have Christian groups upset by what they consider the secularization of the Christmas holiday.
