Proverbs 25:25
As cold waters to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far country.
“Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind, for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.”- Psalm 107:8-9
In the month of November we celebrate two holidays: Veterans Day and Thanksgiving Day. On Veterans' Day we celebrate all who have served, whether in times of peace or conflict and we honor veterans' dedication to our country and the sacrifices their families made. I extended a warm Happy Veterans' Day to the Veterans of Good News magazine. Thank you for your service and thank you for sharing your stories of the Good News. Although not a veteran I extend a heartfelt thank you to Reginald Bolton. His contributions to the veterans of the Lincoln Garden and Carver City communities are top tier. His works and labor for the community will always be remembered. You ca read more about Mr. Bolton online at https://issuu.com/ 19_final And stay tuned for the latest details in the upcoming"Where Are They Now" issues.

Thanksgiving was formed as a day to celebrate the harvest and other blessings of the past year. Although this tradition has slightly changed it remains a day rooted in unique traditions and recipes, and still offers us all a express our gratitude and appreciation for the blessings in our lives. During the Thanksgiving season nothing beats throwing on an oversized clothing and devouring a plate full of your family’s secret recipes that were prepared with tender loving care. Let's be reminded food is not the only reason we should be thankful. Scripture tells us to give thanks to the LORD; for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind. So I encourage you to take the time to really give thanks to our Heavenly Father and the people in your life who are a positive influence and of spiritual support. I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, for giving me strength to do his work and I am thankful he has considered me trustworthy and appointed me to serve him. I also thank the readers, supporters and contributors of A Good News Ministry home of Good News magazine. I am grateful for your partnership and faithfulness from the first issue until now.
God’s blessings,
