Shining Light…
Dr. Aaron Munford, Th. D. Aaron Munford is a proud product of the state of Alabama, and the pastor of the exciting New Harmony Missionary Baptist Church, Tampa FL. Born June 21, 1941, Dr. Munford hails from the small town of Sulphur Springs Alabama. Even as a boy, he exemplified a spirit of devotion and cared for the needs of others more than his own. Reared by his mother, the late Mrs. Lillie Mae Parks Munford, the young Aaron spent time with his mother and younger siblings seeing that their needs were met while his father, the late Mr. Acie Munford labored to provide for their needs. These early years laid the foundation for the life and the ministry of a loyal servant of God.
Although best known for his gift of preaching, his ministry began in serving others and his country. He served others by adhering to his life’s motto… “If I can help someone as I pass then my living shall not be in vain.” He served in the United States Army from 1960 to 1967 retiring with an honorable discharge. Upon retiring from the U.S. Army, he served others by working as a teacher in the Hillsborough County and Pinellas County Public School Districts. Dr. Munford accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior at an early age; He was called by almighty God to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ under the leadership of the late Elder Eddie Newkirk of St. John Missionary Baptist Church, Tampa FL and was licensed to preach the Gospel in 1966 at the age of 25. Adhering to his calling Dr. Munford was called and ordained too Pastor the Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, Oldsmar FL on November 26, 1978. During his over 50 years in the ministry, Dr. Munford has educated himself in the word of God; he has attended numerous biblical colleges and universities and has earned several biblical certificates and degrees to include a Doctrine in Theology. Equipped with this knowledge, he has been blessed to pastor and plant several churches throughout his ministry. Currently he serves as the pastor and teacher of the exciting New Harmony Missionary Baptist Church, Tampa FL, which is a church he planted on October 2, 2005. Under his leadership, the church’s membership grew from a few members worshipping on Sunday morning at the Morning Glory Funeral Home to their current location in Historic Ybor City and countless others in the Tampa Bay area are blessed through their online live streaming via their media ministry. In addition to church serves, Dr. Munford has also formed several outreach ministries to serve the community. Theses ministries are as follows: “Feed the Homeless” twice a month the members of New Harmony come together at their church and make bag lunches for the homeless. Once made, these lunches are giving to homeless individuals in the downtown Tampa area. “The Clothes Closet” although open twice a month, clothing can be giving to anyone in need upon request. “Community Outreach”, this is a door-to-door ministry, the membership of New Harmony band together to walk the streets of Ybor City going door-to-door witnessing to the saved and the unsaved. In addition to his pastoral accomplishments, Dr. Munford also serves as Moderator of the First Missionary Baptist Fellowship Association Inc., First Vice President of the Missionary Baptist Fellowship State Convention of Florida Inc. and Moderator of the Mission and Education Congress. Dr. Munford is a single man with 5 children, 13 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Dr. Munford’s ministry is best accurately described in 2 Chronicles 7:14, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” To learn more about Dr. Munford and the exciting New Harmony M. The Kingdom of God And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Luke 17:20
A Father Is: Man who is parent: a man who is the parent of a human being; Man acting as parent: a man who brings up and looks after a child as if he were its father. A man who adopts a child. Scriptures for Fathers: Exodus 2:21-22 21 And Moses was content to dwell with the man: and he gave Moses Zipporah his daughter. 22 And she bare him a son, and he called his name Gershom: for he said, I have been a stranger in a strange land. KJ Ephesians 6:18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all he Lord's people. NIV 1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing. KJ Deuteronomy 5:16 Honor your father and your mother, as the LORD your God has commanded you; that your days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with you, in the land which the LORD your God gives you. The kingdom of God is the spiritual reign of God in the hearts of believers. When whosoever becoming a believer in their heart then will the Holy Spirit reside within. Let not your heart be darkened from the life of God through the ignorance of the thought of the Pharisees, waiting for the kingdom of God to come, when he is there already. The kingdom of God begins with the work of God's spirit and our relationship with him through our faith. Ephesians 5:5, For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. There are other phrases for this Kingdom‌ 1. Kingdom of Heaven Matthew 4:17 from that time Jesus began to preach and to say repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand 2. Kingdom of Christ Colossians 1:13 who has delivered us from the power of darkness and has translated us into the kingdom of his dear son Jesus Christ. Partly attained in this life for those who seek God's will, God's kingdom will be fully established in the world to come. Jesus preach the gospel of the kingdom and taught his disciples to seek his kingdom, and to pray for its arrival on earth. A unrepentant sinner can not inherit God's Kingdom it is reserved for those who repent and for those who experience spiritual re-birth. Know not that the kingdom of God is already come into our hearts. Neither shall they say, Lo here! or Lo there! for behold the kingdom of God is with you Luke 17:21

How to Make It Thread chicken and peppers alternately onto skewers; brush with 1/4 cup dressing.
Heat grill to medium heat. Grill kabobs 12 to 15mins, or until chicken is done, turning and brushing occasionally with remaining dressing.
