Honesty

For kings and for all that are in authority: that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. 1Timothy 2:2

Honesty is speaking the truth, being fairly, refusing bribes, lying not one to another. but becoming true believers and leaders of integrity, without deceit in human relationships before the Lord. Honesty is truly being truthful because all liars will have their part in the Lake of Fire according to Revelations 21:8 Honesty is a virtue and a characteristic of Jesus Christ, so when one desire honesty he must desire it before the Lord. Honesty is a lifestyle and true believers should practice living in doing that which is right in the presence of the Lord God. Living peaceable, faithfully, truthfully and godly with all men. Walking in authority, searching for an honest man, search self first that there be no deceit found in you. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, honest, just, pure, loving whatsoever things are of good report think on these things. Philippians 4:8

Teach Them – And thou shalt teach them ordinances and laws, and shalt shew them the way wherein they must walk, and the work that they must do. Exodus 18:20. KJ

A Mother is: Literal meaning: A mother is the female parent of a child. Mothers are women who inhabit or perform the role of bearing some relation to their children, who may or may not be their biological offspring. Spiritual meaning: A Spiritual Mother is a supernatural way to care for souls. It is a type of maternity that nurtures divine life in others by doing God’s will. Scriptures for Mothers: Proverbs 23:25 | Genesis 25:21 | Psalm 127:31 Proverbs 14:1| Ephesians 6:18 | Deuteronomy 5:16

Just Ask Debra …

Good & Faithful Servant

A Gospel Songwriting Q & A By Debra Thompson

Deaconess Agatha Holton

When God made woman, He made her to be help and support for the man. That’s why women are an important part of every ministry. Have you ever thought what your church would be like without the help and support of women? Most of the churches would probably close their doors if it were not for the dedication of the women. If you have some good mothers, missionaries, musicians, ushers, etc. in your church, don’t forget to say how much you appreciate them. It never hurts to know you are appreciated . If you have questions you would like Debra to answer, please send them to: thechurchbulletin@yahoo.com or P.O. Box 11722 St. Petersburg, FL 33733

National Teen Pregnancy Prevention Month Every May, the nation turns its attention to teen pregnancy prevention for a full month. Despite historic declines, the U.S. teen birth rate is still higher than that of many other developed countries, including Canada and the United Kingdom. National Teen Pregnancy Prevention Month (NTPPM) highlights the historic declines in the rates of teen births in the United States. Significant declines have occurred in all 50 states and among all racial/ethnic groups, yet disparities continue. Quick Facts  There were 22.3 teen births for every 1000 females ages 15-19 in 2015.  The teen birth rate is at a historic low, but the United States still has one of the highest rates in the industrialized world.  Teen birth rates differ substantially by age, racial and ethnic group, and region of the country.  Birth rates are higher among Hispanic and black adolescents than among their white counterparts.  While Hispanics have the highest teen birth rates, there has been a dramatic decline in rates, with a 50% reduction since 2007.  Read more on the Trends in Teen Pregnancy section of the OAH website.  Check out OAH’s Reproductive Health Fact Sheets for national- and state-level data. We can do better. So join us this May for National Teen Pregnancy Prevention Month—31 days devoted to the historic progress that has been made and spotlighting how much work is being done.
