JProportion of women on boards of 585 FTSE all-share listed companies rises from 36% to 40%, data shows
UK businesses have improved female representation on their boards, research shows, but two-fifths of FTSE 100 firms still do not have a woman in one of their top four executive roles.

Nearly three-quarters (70%) of LGBT+ sports fans believe there are not enough spaces at events created with them in mind, a poll shows, as plans were announced for drag performances at the Epsom Derby.
More than nine in 10 (93%0) say the sports industry should be doing more to encourage LGBT+ fans, according to the research carried out by The Jockey Club.

We attended Pride's Got Talent in the Aldelphi Theatre - a fantastic evening showcasing some of the best talent in the LGBTQIA+ community.
Unity will be focussing on Black Lives Matter in July as the movement celebrates its 10 year anniversary We are moving from awareness to impact in the second half of the year, focusing on GM events in terms of music, cuisine and looking to make our social activities more diverse!
Balance kicked off our internal ‘Sharing Series’ with Vanessa sharing a diverse range of podcasts that inspire her. Broadening your general knowledge and learning about an array of topics is a great way to maintain balance and switch off from the stresses of general life. Next time you pop your headphones in and head out for a walk in the sun
What’s next? We are busy organising our next Balance initiative – we will be putting up posters around the office that educate and encourage balance.

June saw our first Access group meeting since the relaunch. We're now up to 10 members, which is great to see!

The Environment network are in the process of completing our carbon footprint audit and looking to offset what we have produced to remain carbon neutral. We’ve also added a couple of new recycling bins in the COZ, one for used stationary and the other for used make-up containers. We have also been looking into organising a volunteering day, potentially some sort of litter pick or similar Stay tuned for an update on this soon!
