Exactly as a tearoom should be, Jaspers Tea Rooms has an ‘olde world’, cosy feel and is conveniently situated for exploring the historic Llandaff Cathedral.
Both have a solid catering background and loads of passion which is evident in their tasty soups, meals, snacks and cakes. Open for breakfast at 8am through to lunch and afternoon tea, K2 has built a 14 year reputation with local residents, media and office workers and sixth-formers needing sustenance. Their signature crispy chicken baguette is popular as is their retro take on the 1970s, with their mini-sized black forest gateaux going down a storm.
The Wine Bar is a popular meeting place for business people, local residents and visitors from all over Cardiff who return for the lively, warm atmosphere and the fact that they will always see a familiar face. Regulars meet to soak up the rugby atmosphere for pre and post match socialising and it’s a real home-from-home for catching up with friends while enjoying a drink from the extensive wine and champagne list. Their special Christmas menu is £16.95 for a two-course lunch and £24.95 for two-course dinner.
