Delivering a new vision

According to the developer, the projects that reflect Grupo Los Pueblos philosophy are three: first, the Ocean Reef Islands, a set of men made islands in the Panama bay linked by a bridge. 200 thousand square meters hosting a residential area and a marina.

Second, the Albrook Mall, a 200 thousand square meters shopping complex for retail and business areas, 5000 parking spaces, more than a kilometer of store fronts and an entertainment center along with a food court of national an international franchises.

The third is the huge National ground Transportation Terminal developing in the 8.1 hectares out of a 46 hectares lot designated to shelter the Albrook Mall, a hotel, and a sports center.

Para el desarrollador, existen principalmente 3 proyectos que reflejan la filosofía de Grupo Los Pueblos, en primer lugar se encuentran Ocean Reef Islands, un conjunto de dos islas construidas en la bahía de Panamá, unidas por un puente, las cuales, con fines residenciales y una espléndida Marina, suman más de 200 mil metros cuadrados de superficie.

En segundo lugar destaca el Albrook Mall, un centro comercial con más de 200 mil metros cuadrados de negocio, 5000 lugares de estacionamiento, más de un kilómetro de locales comerciales y áreas de entretenimiento, además de franquicias nacionales e internacionales de comida rápida.

Concluyendo con la Gran Terminal Nacional de Transporte, que ocupa 8.1 hectáreas de un terreno de 46 hectáreas donde actualmente se desarrolla Albrook Mall, un hotel y un campo deportivo.

The new Yaquis Baseball Stadium proudly portrays typical features of the region: exposed brick, neutral colors and transparencies resemblance the atmosphere of its surroundings.

El nuevo Estadio del equipo de bĂŠisbol los Yaquis, luce con orgullo elementos caracterĂ­sticos de la zona, dando cabida a elementos como el ladrillo aparente, colores neutros y transparencias.

Its design is based on nine delimited structures that patterned the roof, which have been inspired by 8 native tribes that founded the roots of the State of Sonora and a ninth, Yaquis, that represents the current situation of the team and the city.

Yaqui people are known for the resolute determination to preserve their identity which is an inspiration for the team that carries their name and it is proudly represented in a stadium that is inspired by the essence and qualities that define their culture and traditions.

El edificio principal ha sido formado por bloques de concreto arenado, lo que sugiere que el edificio nace de la tierra misma, en tanto los acentos de piedra agregados le otorgan un toque ancestral sin perder el estilo gracias a los elementos traslúcidos y metálicos que proyectan modernidad.

The main building is made of sandblasting concrete blocks giving the idea it is growing from the ground itself. At the same time, the accents of aggregate stone material confer a vintage touch without losing the contemporary character of the metallic and translucent elements presenting an air of modernity.

The name Managua means "a place surrounded by water" in the Nahuatl language. This partly inspired the architectural concept of the new stadium. The encircling structure of the covering strive to portray and resemble the natural shelter that the converging perimeters provide to the tribe.

Managua proviene de la lengua NĂĄhuatl que significa lugar rodeado de aguas, tĂŠrmino que da vida a una parte del concepto arquitectĂłnico del nuevo estadio. La estructura envolvente de la cubierta representa y hace referencia a un resguardo natural resultado de las aguas perimetrales que rodean al pueblo.

Perfection was the drive for this project. From the tall walls of the inside, an outstanding acoustic arises.

Its dimensions, depth, lightning and appearance were designed to reach the perfect balance between functionality and beautifulness, requirements for a coliseum designated for the Arts.

Each area is responsible for retaining emotions and sensations that respond to different artistic expressions.

OFFICES RAISE GRACEFULLY BETWEEN CULTURAL, COMMERCIAL AND RECREATION AREAS. LAS OFICINAS DE GOBIERNO COMPARTEN ESPACIO CON LAS ZONAS CULTURALES, COMERCIALES Y RECREATIVAS.

To provide economic and environmental sustainability is always our objective for every project and it was not an exception for the Civic Center, therefore the design of the building needs to reflect, from the very beginning, a positive impact in the city.

Los acentos rocosos de la fachada sirven para mantener una temperatura fresca en los edificios al mismo tiempo que proporcionan un aspecto estéticamente agradable. El agua de lluvia es recolectada para ser reutilizada en fuentes y jardines mientras que el uso de materiales de construcción y flora nativa han sido utilizados en el paisaje permitiendo al Centro Cívico convivir en perfecta armonía con sus alrededores.

La sustentabilidad económica y ambiental son aspectos que deben de procurarse en cada proyecto, y para el Centro Cívico no fue la excepción por ello el diseño ha contemplado desde el inicio incluir elementos que le confieran estas características al edificio buscando tener un impacto positivo en la ciudad.

The rocky accents of the façade allow the building to maintain a cooler temperature and confer a nice aesthetic appearance; rainwater is collected and reused in fountains and gardens. Local materials and native vegetation were used in the landscape allowing the building to stand in perfect harmony with its surroundings.
