Franchise Dünyası dergimizin yeni sayısında sizlerle tekrar bir araya gelmekten büyük mutluluk duymaktayız.

Yoğun çalışmalarımızın devam ettiği 2015 yılında önemli başarılara imza atmaya devam ediyoruz. Sistem Değerlendirme Programımız Türkiye Franchise sektörü için büyük bir adım teşkil ediyor. Bu program ile Türkiye’deki franchising sistemini çok daha sağlıklı, doğru ve güvenilir bir platforma taşıyoruz. Her yıl Ramazan ayında düzenlediğimiz ‘Geleneksel UFRAD İftar Yemeği’ bu senede değerli üyelerimizi, sektör liderlerini ve ülkenin önde gelen işadamlarını bir araya getirdi. 20 senedir büyük başarılara imza atan derneğimiz büyük bir gururla çalışmalarına devam ediyor. 15-18 Ekim 2015 tarihleri arasında düzenlenecek 24.

Bayim Olur Musun? UFRAD Franchising Fuarı her yıl olduğu gibi bu senede dünyanın dört bir yanından franchise derneklerini, franchising sektörü liderlerini ve 300’den fazla franchising veren markayı bir araya getirecek. Bu yıl Fuarımız kapsamında 30’u aşan Malezya markasını ve Malezya Ticaret Bakanı’nı da ağırlamaktan ayrıca gurur duyuyoruz.

Bunun yanında UFRAD olarak Başkan Yardımcısı olduğumuz Avrupa Franchise Federasyonu –EFF ‘nin Yönetim Kurulu ve Deneyim Paylaşım Toplantısını fuarımızı ile eş zamanlı düzenleyecek olmaktan büyük mutluluk duyuyoruz. Heyecanla hazırlıklarına devam ettiğimiz fuarımıza hepinizi bekliyoruz. Gerek yurtdışında katıldığımız fuar ve konferanslarda, gerekse Türkiye’de düzenlediğimiz sayısız etkinliklerde her zaman belirttiğimiz gibi, UFRAD Franchising Derneği olarak en büyük amacımız Türk markalarını tanıtmak, dünya pazarlarında yer almalarına yardımcı olmak ve franchising sektörünü geliştirmektir. Bu amaçla yürüttüğümüz çalışmalarımız her sene artarak devam etmektedir.

We have the honor to host more than 30 Malaysian brands and Malaysian Commerce Minister during our exhibition. We are also pleased to hold European Franchise Federation (EFF)’s, where we act as vice president, Board Meeting and Experience Sharing Meeting simultaneously with our exhibition.

Ending his speech by expressing his gratitude for his kind hospitality, Dr. Mustafa Aydin presented an UFRAD plaquette to Muhammet Nezif Emek, CEO of Bereket Doner.

FRAD Yönetim Kurulu üyeleri yuvarlak masa toplantısı öncesinde UFRAD Franchising Derneği’ne üye olmak isteyen adayları değerlendirdi. Yönetim Kurulu’nun ardından geçilen UFRAD yuvarlak masa toplantısı’nın gündeminde 15-18 Ekim tarihleri arasında CNR Yeşilköy Fuar Merkezinde gerçekleşecek Bayim Olur Musun Franchising Fuarı ele alındı. UFRAD üyelerinden İlhan Erkan Bayim Olur Musun Franchising Fuarı hakkında detaylı bilgiler vererek fuarın yatırım arayışı içinde olan yatırımcılar için bir fırsat olduğunu ve yapılacak seminerler hakkında bilgiler verdi.

FRAD Board of Directors evaluated the new applicants for membership to UFRAD before the roundtable meeting. ‘Be My Dealer’ Franchising Exhibition, which is scheduled to take place between October 15-18, 2015 at CNR Exhibition Center, was discussed during the roundtable meeting.

UFRAD members Ilhan Erkan gave a detailed information on Be My Dealer Franchising Exhibition and said that it is a great opportunity for investors who are looking for good investments that each year participation grows exponentially.

Son dönemde dünyada hizmet sektörünün çok hızlı bir büyüme kaydettiğini görüyoruz. Hizmet sektörünün büyümesine paralel şekilde, Franchising sisteminde de çok hızlı bir büyüme olmuştur. Franchising sisteminin bu hızlı büyümesinin nedenleri arasında, sistem için gerekli sermaye tutarı, girişimcinin motivasyonu, sistemin standart olması, kabul görmüş bir marka ve kontrol mekanizmasını sayabiliriz. Günümüzde müşteriler, zamanı etkin kullanmak üzere, en kısa zamanda kaliteli mal ve hizmet satın almayı arzu etmektedirler. Bu da kalitesini ve markasını kabul ettirmiş ürünlerin satıldığı mağazalardan alışverişle mümkün olmaktadır.

Bu aşamada franchisingin önemi bir kez daha ortaya çıkmaktadır.

What is your take on franchising sector in Turkey?

We see that service sector has been growing rapidly in the world lately. Parallel to the growth in service sector there has been a growth in franchising system as well. Among the reasons for the growth in franchising system are the capital needed for the system, motivation of the entrepreneur, system being standardized, a recognized brand and control mechanism.

Nowadays, customers would like to purchase quality goods and services in a short time in order to use the time efficiently. This is only possible through shopping from stores that sell quality goods and recognized brands. At this point, the importance of franchising become obvious.

Sektörün Türk ekonomisi içindeki yeri nedir? Ekonomik olarak ne kadarlık bir değere sahip?

Franchising sistemi, yatırımcıya, marka sahibinin yıllarca kurumsallaşmak üzere oluşan bilgi birikimini kullanarak, bulunduğu bölgede fırsat eşitliği yaratmasını ve yatırımcının sermayesini kullanırken var olan bilgi birikimi ile bir iş sahibi olmasını sağlamaktır. Fırsat eşitliği yaratması ve iş olanakları sağlaması ekonominin tam istihdam seviyesine yaklaşmasına ve ekonomide önemli ölçüde gelişmelere yardımcı olacaktır. Bunun yanında firmalar bu sistemle sadece yurt içinde değil, yurt dışında da markalarını tanıtma fırsatı bularak, ülkeye döviz girişini de sağlayacaktır.

Ayrıca bu sistem işsizlik sorununa da çözüm üreten ve istihdam artışı sağlayan bir sistemdir. Franchising sisteminin gelişmesi en üst yöneticiden mavi yakalı çalışanlara kadar geniş bir yelpazeye istihdam olanakları sağlar. Bugün Franchising sektörü ülkemizde yaklaşık 35 milyar USD işlem hacmine sahipken, Avrupa ve Amerika’da bu rakamlar çok daha yüksektir. Ülke ekonomisinin gelişimi ve büyümesinde markalaşma ve Franchising en önemli etkenlerden biridir. Önümüzdeki dönemlerde, ekonomik anlamda büyük potansiyele sahip olan franchising sistemine daha fazla girişimcinin dahil olmasını bekliyoruz. Türkiye’nin franchising ile tanışması başlangıçta yabancı şirketlerin atılımıyla gerçekleşmiş olsa da, Türk şirketlerin de satış ve hizmet ağlarını genişletmesinin en güvenli yolunun bu sistemi benimsemek olduğunu görüyoruz.

What place does franchising sector have in Turkish economy?

What is its economic value?

Franchising system is a practice in which an investor uses the knowledge owner of the brand has and own his own business. By creating equal opportunity and job opportunities the system helps the economy reach full employment and helps the economy improve. With the system, brands will have an opportunity to introduce their brands not only in Turkey, but also abroad which in turn will allow a foreign exchange inflow.

Franchising is a system that helps with unemployment and increase employment. Development in franchising system provide employment from top managers to blue collar workers. Today franchising sector has a $35 billion market, the number is much higher in Europe and USA. Branding and franchising is one of the most important factor in development and growth of a country’s economy.

We expect to have more entrepreneurs included in franchising sector which has a great potential in terms of economics for the upcoming periods. Although Turkey was first introduced to franchising via foreign companies, franchising is the safest way for Turkish companies to expand their sales and service network.

Bugün itibarıyla kaç marka franchise veriyor? Türkiye pazarına giren yeni franchising markaları hangileri?

Türkiye’de bugün 1850 civarında zincir işletme mevcutken, %24’ü yabancı, %76’sı Türk kökenli marka zincirine bağlı şube sayısı 50.000 civarındadır Franchise veya bayilik verenlerin sayısı 1471, zincirler içindeki oranı ise %78’dir. As of today, how many companies franchise? Which brands want to do business in Turkey?

Currently, there are 1,850 chain stores in Turkey of which 24% are foreign, 76% are Turkish. There are 50,000 branches operating under those chain stores. There are 1,471 companies of which franchise which is 78% of the total. 22% of those chain stores operate their own businesses.

We observe that many brands from different sectors improve by franchising and become more successful each day.

Sektörün geleceğini nasıl görüyorsunuz? Franchise markalarının 2015 yılında kaç şube açması planlanıyor?

Global piyasalarda yaşanan çalkantılar, ekonomik krizler bizleri çok fazla etkilemedi. Ancak hiç etkilenmedik de diyemeyiz. Daha önceki yıllarda ülkemizin geçirdiği ekonomik kriz ortamları daha hazırlıklı olmamızı sağladı.

Bu tür kriz ortamlarında Franchising sektöründe ters orantılı bir büyüme görürüz, zira beyaz yakalıların kendiişlerini kurma isteklerinde artış olur. Bu sebeple markalarımız ve Franchise sektörü için 2014 yılı iyi geçti diyebiliriz. 2015 de iyi başlamakla birlikte, genel piyasalarda yatırım durağanlığı bizim sektörümüzde de yavaşlamaya neden olabilir düşüncesi ile gerekli tedbirleri markalarımız ile birlikte alıyoruz.

Franchise veren markaların öncelikle conceptlerini doğru oturtup müşterilerin istek ve ihtiyaçlarına göre markalarını geliştirmeleri gerekmektedir. Franchise sisteminin başarılı olması için kalite standartlarının yüksek tutulması ve operasyon/kontrol mekanizmasının çok etkin kullanılması gerekmektedir.

Gelecek yıllarda Franchising en etkin işletme yöntemi olarak tüm dünyada hızla büyüyen sektör olma özelliğini ülkemizde de gösterecektir.

What do you think the future of the sector will look like? How many more branches are planned to be opened in 2015?

We weren’t effected by the turmoil in global markets and economic crisis. But we can’t tell that we were hundred percent immune to the turmoil. Previous economic crisis in our country prepared us well. During such crisis we see a reverse growth in franchising sector, though an increase can be seen in white collar establishing their own businesses. Therefore, we can say that 2014 has been a good year for our brands and franchise sector. Although 2015 started out well we are taking all the measures with our business not to be effected by the overall stagnation in general market.

Brands who franchise need to have a solid concept and need to improve their brands to meet clients needs and wants. Quality standards should be kept high and operations and control mechanisms should be used efficiently in order for franchising system to be successful.

Franchising sector will be the fastest growing sector in the world as the most effective business model in the coming years.

Markalar hangi koşullarda franchise veriyor?

Franchising ile iyi organize edilmiş ve kanıtlanmış bir sistemin parçası haline hızlıca gelinir. Bu nedenle belirli bir tecrübe ve bilgi birikimi gerektiren bu sistem, ana firma tarafından verilen eğitimler ve denetlemeler sayesinde gelişmektedir. Mesela, bir hamburger zincirinin araştırma ve geliştirme aşaması 5 yıl sürmüş ise, bu beş yıllık bilgi birikimine ve tecrübeye 1 ay gibi kısa bir sürede ulaşılabilecektir. Bu tür bir yatırıma nasıl girecekleri konusunda kendi başlarına olmayacaklar, ana firmanın sürekli desteğini yanlarında bulacaklardır. Her konuda ana firmanın desteği ile adım atacaklar ve günümüz rekabet koşulları içerisinde yalnız, küçük bir firma olmak yerine, güçlü ve büyük bir zincirin parçası olacaklardır.

Aynı şekilde franchising sisteminin ana firmalar için de belirli avantajları söz konusudur. Franchising sistemini benimseyen firmalar çoğunlukla, nihai tüketici (son ya da perakende) ile direk ilişki içinde bulunan hizmet, ürün ya da dağıtım firmalarıdır. Bu firmaların franchise sistemini benimsemelerinde rol oynayan temel avantajlar vardır.

Bu firmalar büyümek ve pazarda daha büyük paylara ulaşmak istemektedirler. Direk olarak nihai tüketici ile karşı karşıya olduklarından, kendi bünyelerinde sistemlerini genişlettiklerinde, hizmet noktalarında ya da mağazalarında çalıştıracakları personeli denetlemeleri dolayısıyla hizmet kalitesini korumaları da zorlaşacaktır. Özellikle mesafe ve ulaşım açısından uzak noktalarda bulunan hizmet noktalarında yer alacak mağazaların işletmeleri, o işletmenin sahibi olan ve gelirini oradan elde eden franchiseler tarafından çok daha iyi yapılabilecektir. Franchiseler, mağazalarına ya da işletmelerine gelen tüketicilerin memnun olmaları ve o hizmet noktasından daha sonra da yararlanmaları için gereken tüm gayreti göstereceklerdir. Çünkü o işletmeden ticari kazanç elde etmektedirler. Under what circumstances brands franchise?

With franchising it is possible to be a part of a well organized and recognized system. Franchising system which requires certain experience and knowledge, develops with the training and auditing done by the main franchisor. For instance, research and development process of a hamburger chain takes five years. With franchising system five-year worth of experience and knowledge will be obtained within a month. Franchisees will have the full support of the main franchisor about how to invest in the business. Franchisees will have the support of the franchisor on everything and instead of being a lone wolf in todays cut-throat competition, they will act as a part of a strong and large chain. There are advantages for the franchisors as well. Franchisors are usually operate in service, end products or delivery services and have direct relations with customers. There are certain advantages for them to franchise.

These companies want to grow and have bigger shares in the market. Because they have direct relations with end users, once they expand it will be difficult for them to control their employees who work at service centers and stores and keep the service quality the same at all times.

Franchisees who earn their salaries from businesses they operate located in remote areas with long commute, will operate the business better. They will do their best to satisfy their customers needs for the expectation for them to come back, because that is how they make money. Customer satisfaction has a positive effect on word of mouth communication. Clients who are happy with the service and the product of the company often recommend to their friends and family.

There are different life styles, shopping habits, and cultures for different regions and the best way to approach them with the right service or product is done by investors who know the region and the people who live there. Cultural differences will have a direct impact on company’s profitability and pros and cons of such differences can be overcame by investors familiar with the region.

Companies with the aim to grow will save investment costs to open new service centers, will reach their expansion targets that could have taken longer if done by themselves via investors in a shorter time.

What do you advice to entrepreneurs?

Management is the most important factor in the development of any franchising chain. Franchises with poor management fail to grow, cannot become a recognized brand and their rivals will grow while they shrink. Franchises with a good management can become a brand name even though they

The most important factor for this is to place training programs, and have a team who will apply the franchising system right and to educate them. We support the sector with our educational programs offered at UFRAD Franchise Academy founded by a collaboration with Istanbul Aydin University and with the system evaluation program we strive to bring our brands to global markets.

UFRAD Franchising Association which is the only umbrella organization in Turkey that brings the 21st century’s retail brands and franchising system, was established in 1991. Supporting the transformation of the well-recognized brands into an entrepreneurial spirit, our Association has and will contribute to direct our investors to become well- established brands, subsidy our national brands to have a place and compete in global markets. One of the most well-established associations in the world, UFRAD has more than 200 members under one roof today.

Being the only representative of Turkish franchising system with a $35-billion annual trade volume, UFRAD strives to assure franchising system to be taught properly, establish the rules and apply them. Supporting our national brands in creating collaboration platforms in Turkey and abroad, our Association is the most important place to share the knowledge in law, culture and finance Turkish companies need in global markets. UFRAD is an active member of World Franchising Committee (WFC), founder and the chairman of the Board of Trustees of Black Sea Franchise Federation, and a founding member of Foreign Economic Relations Council DEIK. They have mentioned that the biggest factor in making this decision was due to UFRAD Franchising Association’s strenght in the sector. They stated that they have been closely watching our Associations works, increasing efficiency of Turkish market, and economic stability and appreciated our determined and result oriented efforts on branding and franchising. Many of our members accomplished important achievements in European markets, we are very well known and demanded for. This will increase in years to come. The interest in our brands in foreign market has been growing. We, as UFRAD, always supported and encouraged our brands to go global. There has been great interest from domestic and international investors. At the beginning, only domestic investors were interested in our brands but foreign investors believe in the strenght and the quality of Turkish brands and buy franchise. Although our food sector seem to have an advantage, we do have brands in all the sectors able to compete with world’s leaders in global level. Companies with the right management and engage in activities in all fields with franchising system are good candidates to become successful in global markets.

ULUSLARARASI OKUL ÖNCESİ EĞİTİM PROGRAMI IPC TÜRKİYE’DE IPC WITH ITS INTERNATIONAL PRE SCHOOL EDUCATION SYSTEM IS NOW IN TURKEY Amerika’da 2008 yılından itibaren uygulanmaya başlanmış,2010 yılı itibari ile de 4 yıl gibi kısa bir sürede Dünya’da 115’e yakın noktada faaliyet göstermeye başlamıştır. Under its new plans its goal is 70 by year end.Faruk Güllüoğlüs’basic belief in the Franchising sector is that it be a work model which benefits Franchisees.

The building of the shops is effected by the company and is completed in 60 working days.

What are the reactions of your customers to the special tastes you offer them? How many branches do you have and where are they?

In todays ever more competitive world what influence does the Franchise System have in increasing a companys’ size and profit?

Over the last years I believe that the rapid increase in Shopping Center openings in Turkey has had positive results for fast food chains.For our own brands I can definitely say this is true.The spread of the Franchising system has been extremely useful for investors by, along with other factors eliminating many of the risks involved in the opening of a new business and this is the reason for this system being preferred.

TAB Gıda has been in action in the Turkish fast food chain sector since 1995. In 2014 we and our brands followed a successful rising graphic.As well as the increase in the number of our restaurants in all brands it was also a year in which we received many awards, we are continuing this acceleration in 2015.

How much do you use the Franchising System within your growth plans? How many branches do you plan to open this year? Which are your Franchising conditions?

We at TAB Gıda began our journey along the Franchising road in 1995 when we opened our first Burger King restaurant. In 2001 with that brand we began to Sub Franchise. TAB Gıda as Master Franchisee of Burger King, Sbarro. Popeyes, Arby’s and Usta Dönerci reached a number of 1000 restaurants in 2015 while the number of Sub Franchises reached 230.

We entered the Chinese market in 2012 and we are steadily and surely increasing there. We have more than 300 restaurants and plan to open 200 more in 2015 with a goal of 1000 within 5 years. Our Chinese Unit advises those entrepreneurs who wish to invest in Burger King there.

The chosen candidates gain administrative rights on completion of the training course which TAB Gıda supplies.Those who obtain licences have the right to administrate him/her self or to appoint a manager.

From the very beginning even of restaurant opening preparation we supply intense back up, we give them support in marketing, advertising, stock buying, logistics, training, human resources, work operations and quality control. Investment for Burger King begins from 700,000, for Popeyes 400,000, for Sbarro 300,000 and for Arby’s 500,000 all US$ all plus KDV. We are presently working on Franchise preparations for our Usta Dönerci brand and will very shortly start to give those Franchises. TAB Gıda gives time period contracts to its Sub Franchisees of Burger King 20 years, Sbarro 10 years, Arby’s 20 years and Popeyes 10 years. The licence which we offer authorises use of premises and of the brand name.

1971 yılında Ankara’da doğdum. Evli ve 2 erkek çocuğu babasıyım. Turizm ve Otelcilik alanında öğrenim gördüm. Gıda sektöründe 25.yılımı tamamlıyorum. Sektörle ilk tanışmam 1990’da Wimpy ve 1996’de Burger King ile oldu. 2004 yılına kadar Burger King’de çeşitli kademelerde yöneticilik yaptıktan sonra franchise işletmecisi olarak devam ettim. 2014’te Payna Grup şirketlerinde iş ortağı ve Genel Müdür Yardımcısı olarak başladım. Payna Grup; bünyesinde Erciyes Börek, Dilim Börek ve Pastannecim markalarını barındıran güçlü bir grup. Payna, bu üç markayı tek bir denetleme mekanizmasının çatısı altında topluyor ve organizasyonları kolayca yönetmemizi sağlıyor.

Will you please briefly introduce yourself?

I was born in Ankara in 1971. I am married and am father of 2 sons. My education was in the Tourism and Hotel sector. I have been in the food sector for 25 years. My introduction to the sector was at Wimpys in 1990 then Burger King in 1996 where I worked in many managerial positions until 2004 after which I continued as a Franchise admimistrator. In 2014 I became a partner and also Assistant to the General Manager in the Payna Group of companies. The Payna Group is a strong one which has under its administration the brands Erciyes Börek, Dilim Börek and Pastannecım Payna by collecting the control mechanism for these 3 brands under one roof has organized their very feasible management.

Will you please tell us about the formation and growth of your company?

Dilim Börek was formed in 2003 however it is the Payna Groups newest element. Our constantly enlarging group wished to include Dilim Börek therefore began investment there in 2015. This Istanbul brand, famous for its very own tastes became, in June 2009 the 444 4 356 line’s most successful brand in its field. Dilim Börek with the quality of its production, delivery and service carries general taste and quality to the top level.Its primary aim being customer satisfaction contributes to the brands constant renewal and quality improvement.

Day by day its logistical line is being brought into a more qualified one and this together with its constant goal of customer satisfaction ensures its position as an influential Payna Group member.

Our company groups’oldest member, Erciyes Börek, which began under the “from the housewife to your table” slogan has now completed 12 years in the sector. It began in Ankara and now continues to enlarge by offering its traditional tastes to Eskişehir, İzmit. Kayseri and Karabük under its title of Ankara Börek Maker. Our brand, at the recent Ramazan religious holiday broke the existing Turkey record by selling 250 tons of baklava and börek which qualifies it to carry the title of Ankara Börek Maker.

Since 2013 Ankaras ‘Birthday cake maker, Pastannecim, has been making Birthday Cakes, daily prepared display cakes,its cupcakes and its shortcakes all which make special occasions even more special. Pastannecim cakes are a combination of the tastiness of mothers cooking combined with the mastery of famous sculptors which results in art.

Pastannecim has been growing rapidly since the beginning of 2015 and at the moment serves at 8 taste shops in Ankara. We have now included it in Dilim Börek within the Istanbul face of the Payna Group. Our group has under its roof the 3 brands plus Dilim Börek.With 14 Dilim Börek,8 Pastannecım and 28 Erciyes Börek the total of our branches is 50.

When and how did your company begin to give Franchises?

In order to reach more customers and send out their tastes even further Dilim Börek began with the Franchise system in 2012 at the moment it has 12 Franchise points.

How many branches and staff do you have?

Presently Dilim Börek has 14 branches in Istanbul.The other brands in our group have a total of 50 branches. With the management, the production group and the sales staff there is a total of 600 people.

What are the standards you search for in potential Franchisees?

Those who will value our brand name and also will add value to it, who understand the Franchise system, who will take the responsibility in the running of their business and who will constantly add to the development of the brand. These are the type of partners with whom we wish to grow.

What do you believe are the reasons for Franchisees choosing your brand?

In order to be a permanent brand having an institutional system and persona are very important. We believe that it is essential to have a professional team which will supervise the management, the organization, the production period timing and the trial sales throughout. Girişimciler neden bu alanda Franchise almalıdırlar?

Gıda sektöründe, lezzet, hijyen, hizmet ve güçlü marka imajı gibi bileşenleri yan yana getiremeyen işletmeler, daha büyük firmaların ortaya çıkmasına neden oluyor. Bu süreçte hijyen standartlarına uygun olmayan merdiven altı işletmeler, sosyal güvenliği olmayan işçi yapıları, uygun olmayan üretim şartları da insanların sektöre bakışını olumsuz yönde etkiliyor.

Sektördeki dengeleri aşağı çeken asıl problemin ise sektördeki yetersiz hizmet şartlarının olduğunu düşünüyorum. İnsanların bu konuyla ilgili sorunlarını çözüme ulaştıracak olan yolun, sistemi genel olarak değil Franchise dahilinde değerlendirmesi olduğunu ve bu yolla birikimlerini kullanıp geliştirebileceklerini düşünüyorum.

Sektörün Türkiye’de son dönemde geldiği noktayı nasıl değerlendiriyorsunuz?

Tarım ülkesi olarak anılan ülkemizde en kaliteli gıda hammaddeleri yetişiyor fakat bu sektörde faaliyet gösteren firmalar, yenilikleri dünya ile aynı anda hayata geçiremedikleri gibi lezzet ve hizmeti de aynı oranda önemsemiyorlar. Bu durum da dünya pazarında çok az Türk firmasının söz sahibi olması durumunu açıklıyor.

Sizden Franchise alanların başarılı olması için nelere dikkat etmeleri gerekir?

Gıda ve hizmet sektörleri, sürekli büyüyen ve talep gören sektörlerden. Franchise sahiplerinin alanlarında başarılı olmaları için ilk yapmaları gereken yatırımı yaptıkları firmaya yani bu noktada bize güvenmesi şart. Karşılıklı yaratılan güvenden sonra ise girişimcinin işini sevmesi, sürekli takip etmesi, iletişim dilinin güçlü olması ve yapı olarak takım çalışmasına uygun olması büyük önem teşkil ediyor. Önümüzdeki dönem hedefleriniz nelerdir?

Biz grup olarak yıllık 55 Milyon TL perakende cirosu yapıyoruz. Önümüzdeki süreçte de markalarımızın İstanbul’da etkin olmasını istediğimiz için bu yönde bir büyüme stratejisi kurguluyoruz. Erciyes Börek ve Pastannecim’in İstanbul operasyonlarını bir an önce başlatmayı ve Dilim Börek’in mağaza sayısını arttırmayı hedefliyoruz. Kısa dönemde ulaşmak istediğimiz nokta; İstanbul ve Anadolu’da mağaza sayımızı 150’ye, ciromuzu da yıllık 250 Milyon TL’ye çıkarmak.

What is the average investment for a Franchisee to open under your system?

On average according to size between 250-350 thousand TL. What do your Franchisees receive in the way of support from you?

Our professional team shares all the experience and knowledge which it has gained from the sector with them. Choice of location and project is effected by us. After the establishment period we help with quality products, training, staff, national advertising, introductory work and in sales and stock management.

How do you check up on your Franchisees?

Our companys’operations team constantly check them up with both arranged and unexpected visits. In addition to those we use the’ secret customer method’ additionally we are able to check on Franchisees according to the advice and comments received by internet. I am also one of those who often pay visits to Franchisees so then have the opportunity of meeting with the owners and their staff face to face.

Why should entrepreneurs take on a Franchise in this sector?

The reason for larger companies appearing in this food sector is that small units cannot combine the required flavours, hygene standards and strong brand name. At this period in time unhygenic, small illegal setups, with workers without social security and incorrect standards of production results in people viewing that type of setup unfavourably. I believe the main problem for the sectors’ lowered value was unsatisfactory service. Therefore people who have observed these problems believe that they can be overcome by Franchising and by investing within this system they will obtain more satisfactory results.

How do you evaluate the point that Turkey has come to in this sector?

For the Franchisee to be succeeful from the moment of his first investment he must have total trust in us.After this mutual trust has been established the entrepreneur must love his work,must constantly be in charge of it, his dialogue ability should be strong and his personality should be one that is suitable for team work.All are important factors.

Which are your goals for the upcoming period?

Our group has a yearly retail volume of 55 million TL. As we wish our brand to be present in Istanbul we envisage this enlargement strategy, in Istanbul we aim to immediately operate Erciyes Börek and Pastannecim and to increase the number of Dilim Börek’s shops. In the short term we aim to increase the number of our shops in Istanbul and Anatolia to 150 and to increase our turnover to 250 millionTL.

1992 senesinde, İstanbul Üniversitesi İktisat Fakültesi, Ekonometri bölümünden mezun olduktan sonra, o dönemde deri sektörünün ihracatta ilk sıralarında yer alan bir firmada uzun yıllar yöneticilik yaptım. Deri Sektörünün Türkiye’de krize girmesiyle, ani bir karar sonucu, her zaman her dönemde kazanç sağlanabilen bir sektör olduğuna, kazancınızın sizin hayal gücü ve çabanızla doğru orantılı olduğuna inandığım Gayrimenkul sektörüne geçiş yaptım. 2007 yılında kurumsal bir firmada Gayrimenkul danışmanı olarak başladığım sektörde, ofis müdürlüğü ile yoluma devam etim. 2008 yılında katılmış olduğum Eskidji bünyesinde, 2014 yılı Haziran ayında Eskidji Gayrimenkul Pazarlama A.Ş. Genel Müdürlüğü’nde Kurumsal Pazarlama Yönetmenliği görevine başladım, 1 Temmuz 2015 tarihi itibariyle Franchise ve Projeler Direktörü olarak çalışmaya devam etmekteyim.

I graduated from the Istanbul University Economic Faculty in 1992 and then became a manager in one of Turkey’s foremost leather exporting companies and worked there for many years. When Turkish leather exports entered a period of crisis I took an instantaneous decision,to move to the Real Estate sector which I believed was a sector in which one could always make a profit, that profit being based on ones own imagination and ones own efforts. In 2007 I became consultant in an institutalized Real Estate company and continued there as office manager. I joined Eskidji in 2008 and in June 2014 I took the position of Institutional Marketing Manager in Eskidji Gayrımenkul Pazarlama A.Ş. On July 1st 2015 I became and continue as Franchise and Project Director.

When and how did you first give Franchises?

We began to give in 2003 under a system named Regional Partners.Within this special system which was built up from a basic Franchising system qualified regional partnerships were formed under Eskidji Gayrımenkul A.Ş. This system does not entail only use of a brand name. All Regional Partnership Organizations are attached to each other and also attached to Eskidji Central.

Presently we have 3 offices abroad, Northern Cyprus,Northern Irak and in Nice France these together with our domestic ones add up to a total of 75 offices with 310 personnel.

What are the standards you search for in the Franchisees you have given or will give to?

Under our slogan”we sell Real Estate we NEVER sell our principles” the qualities we need are honesty and dependability, Franchisees must be aware of the responsibility involved in becoming a Regional Partner. The candidate must have an interest in the Real Estate sector,should be a person of vision,their social and business past must fit with our criteria and they must be able to finance a 6 month period of overheads.

Additionally they must attach importance to training must constantly renew their own and their staffs’ capabilities then success in this sector can be achieved.

What are the reasons for Franchisees giving preference to your company?

First of all,Eskidji Gayrimenkul Pazarlama A.Ş. is a registered domestic state depositary.

It differs from standard Franchise systems by using its Regional Partnership system.

The Regional Partners use the brand name however additionally the also receive a portion from all business which comes to or is effected by central,as they will on any Real Estate sold by Eskidji Müzayedecilik. The Regional Partners also earn on all sales or rents which the Special Projects and the Central signs.In other words a Regional Partnership does not earn only from ıts own marketing port-folios it also earn from all business the company effects.

Bunun yansıması olarak Gayrimenkul aracılık hizmetleri de, kazançlı bir alan olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Bugüne kadar profesyonellikten uzak, karmaşık bir yapıya sahip olan Gayrimenkul aracılık sektörünün artık kaliteli hizmet ve kurumsal yapı yönünde ivme kazandığını görüyoruz. We have a contracted’ghost customer’ company which supplies reports which we then share with the Regional Partners so that they can offer better service.

Why should entrepreneurs enter this sector?

I believe that Real Estate is a rather dynamic sector and correctly worked, one which offers many opportunities to earn money. The ability to earn is not based on the size of your office or the number of your desks, it is your imagination and your motivation which push you forward.

Working in this manner and with a strong brand name behind you paves the way to good profit. The Real Estate sector while it has excellent opportunities has one bad side to ıt,on the market there are many people who do not have enough training and who are not ethical, for this reason working under the roof of a brand institution immediately makes a differece. I am of the opinion that one should value this.

How do you evaluate the point that Turkey has come to in todays’ market?

In Turkey,Real Estate has always been a good investment,over the last period, because of the building sector it has surged forward. Therefore the sector is a profitable one. Up until now the sector had been unprofessional and mixed up however we now see that it has developed and is offering good quality institutionalized service. As it is a very wide sector, it will take time to reach the actual required level. At Eskidji we continue our work according to our quality and trust principles and advise customers to always work with institutional companies. However the state must also pass and action the laws needed to set the sector on a more stable basis.

Müşteri odaklı çalışma anlayışı ve eğitim konusu çok önemli, Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi ile anlaşmalı olarak sürdürdüğümüz eğitimlerimize katılmalarını, merkezimizce hazırlanmış olan, sözleşme ve matbuu evrakları gerektiği şekilde düzenli olarak kullanmalarını, piyasayı iyi takip etmelerini, sahada aktif olmalarını, hedeflerini doğru belirleyerek sabırla hedefleri doğrultusunda ilerlemelerini tavsiye edebilirim.

What must Franchisees do in order to be successful?

Training and customer focusing are very important.Our organization has an agreement with Yildiz Teknik University and Franchisees should attend this program, should use the contract and printed matter in the correct manner, must follow market trends catefully, must be active in the market place,must set their goal and work steadily towards it. This is my advice to them.

Önümüzdeki dönem hedefleriniz nelerdir?

Biz Eskidji Gayrimenkul olarak, hiçbir zaman agresif bir yayılma politikası izlemedik, kalitemizi taşıyabilecek seçkin ofisler yaratmayı amaçladık. Önümüzdeki dönemde de aynı seçicilik ile ofis sayımızı arttırmaya devam ederek, 2016 yılı sonuna kadar 95 ofis olmayı planlamaktayız.

What are your future goals?

We at Eskidji Gayrimenkul have never followed an agressive enlargement policy,we have always aimed at forming offices which were of the right type to suit our quality. In the future, we shall continue to increase by making the same careful choices and plan to have 95 offices by the end of 2016.

Will you please tell us about your company?

The root of the word WINKELEN is Flemish and means shopping. Winkelen was formed in 2012 and opened its first branch in 2014. Company capital is 100% domestic. It is a brand which sells personal care products.

Winkelen olarak iki yıl süren forecast çalışmasından sonra, merkezi noktalarda dikkat çekecek şubeleşmelere gitme kararı aldık. Kurtuluş Caddesi Üsküdar Meydanı, Bahçelievler Ömür Plaza ve Esenler Atışalanı gibi prestijli noktalarda üç tanesi franchise olmak üzere dört şubeye ulaştık. Tabi ki bunda Kurtuluş’taki başarılı çalışmalarımız franchiseelerimize vaat etmiş olduğumuz arka plandaki hizmet ve kapsamı etkili oldu.

Wil you tell us about its formation and development?

Winkelen,after a 2 year forecast study decided where branches should be situated and where they would attract most attention.They were,Kurtuluş thoroughfare in Üsküdar Square, Bahçelievler Ömür Plaza and Esenler Atışanlar, all prestigious locations. There are 4 branches, 3 of which are Franchises. The planning and successful working of our Kurtuluş shop was an encouragement and an influence for our Franchisees.

Firmanız Franchise vermeye ne zaman ve nasıl başladı?

Kurtuluş şubemizin açılışından 5 ay sonra franchise vermeye başladık. Franchise fikri zaten şirket planlarımız arasında vardı.

When and how did you begin to give Franchises?

We began to give Franchises 5 months after we opened our Kurtuluş branch. The intention of using the franchise method had always been in our company plans.

Additionally they should be trustworthy and their proposal for branch location should meet our criteria. The premises should be situated on a prestigious thoroughfare with a high customer profile.

In this way the entrepreneur can concentrate all his energy on the business or can use his time in a different work field or in his own business. This procures extra income. Additionally with our high profit margins and low establishment imvestment we appeal to almost every budget.

What is the average investment needed to set up a branch within your Franchise system?

Presently our sq m price is between 1200-1400 Euros which means we are talking about a 70 sq m shop being approximately 300 thousand TL. This covers total establishment of shop and inventory stock.In addition, in 2015, we have started to take a 10 thousand Euro franchise fee.

What kind of support do you offer to your Franchisees?

Stock buying and management,staff training,staff management,publicity and marketing, know how, campaigns, advertising, organization and display and all other merchandising backups.

How do you check up on your Franchisees?

With weekly and monthly routine checks, with the ‘ghost customer’ method and with periodical update training.

Why should entrepreneurs take franchises in this sector?

Tabi bu durum kalite değeri yüksek ürünlerin ve çeşitliliğin ülkemize akışını sağlamasından dolayı bize olumlu olarak yansımaya devam etmektedir.

Sizden franchisee alanların başarılı olması için nelere dikkat etmeleri gerekir?

Mağazaları ile yakından ilgilenmeleri, sektörle alakalı olmaları mümkün olduğu kadar eleştirel yaklaşımları ile bizi daha iyi hizmet vermeye itmeleri dışında bir beklentimiz yok, çünkü biz kendilerine kazandırmak ve başarı sağlamak için gerekli tüm hizmetleri sağlamaktayız. Önümüzdeki dönem hedefleriniz nelerdir? Şu anda 13 franchise talebi tarafımızdan takvimlendirilmiş durumda. Bunun yanında kıyı bölgeler, orta ve doğu Anadolu’da franchiselar ile ulusal bir marka haline gelmek istiyoruz. Bunun yanında kozmetik ürün yelpazesini genişletip sektöre katkıda bulunmak, istihdam anlamında ülke ekonomisine katkıda bulunmak gibi hedeflerimiz var. Tabi bunun yanında yerli marka gücünü uluslararası boyuta taşımak istiyoruz.

How do you view the point which Turkey has presently come to in this sector?

With its swift enlargement the cosmetic sector has reached a point of great interest.

The cosmetic consumption rate of 90% in other countries versus the from 20% up to 50% in 10 years means that here can be judged as a first class economical category. It appears that it will reach the % of the most developed countries within a short period. Naturally high quality value and the ongoing assortment we offer will continue to have a positive effect.

What must Franchisees do in order to be successful?

They must follow their business and view the rest of the market with a critical eye, they must make it a principle to always give us good service apart from this we expect nothing as we give them all the support necessary to make a profit and to be successful.

What are your goals for the upcoming period?

Presently we have 13 enrolled requests.We also wish to enlarge to coastal regions and middle and eastern Anatolia and so become a national brand. We wish to widen our range of cosmetics. We also have the goals of being a help in the market and being a source of employment so as to help the economy of our country. Eventually we wish to carry our domestic brand abroad.

On principle one can say that within the Franchising system brands constantly aim at improving their image. Staff are trained, the work system is defined, advertising is effected to expand the brand image, attention is paid to customer satisfaction and most important of all with no state support or backup they themselves have to protect their own brands.

As for the brands which wish to enter the Global Market; They must ensure that their product is both good and original and must make certain that products which are right domestically can meet the standards of and fit in with other cultures. Most importantly customer loyalty must be created, the brand style must be ongoing, they must teach their brand to the consumer, share know how and gain customer trust.All are essential steps. Here we come to another important point,one that is even more important than introducing their brand, they must offer reasons as to why their brand be bought.

Franchise işletmeler devletin koymuş olduğu tüm kurallara uyarken, bağımsız çalışan küçük işletmeler kontrol edilemiyor! Edildiğinde de zaten kurallara uygun olmadığı belirleniyor ve hiçbir ciddi yaptırım uygulanmıyor. Tüm denetlemeler kontroller sistemi olan işletmeler yönünde ciddi baskılar oluştururken kontrol dışı kayıtsız işletmeler ülkeye sisteme çalışanların sosyal haklarına zarar verip hayatını noktalıyorlar. Arkalarında zarar verdikleri bir sürü mağdur bırakarak ülke ekonomisine ciddi yaralar açıyorlar.

Franchise işletmeler ise ya orta ölçekli büyüyerek bu haksız rekabetin yarattığı açığı sisteminin gereklerini yerine getirmek adına satmış olduğu ürün fiyatında yansıtarak belirli kitleye hitap ediyorlar. Ya da hızlı büyüyerek alım gücünün desteği ile bu alanda rekabetin içinde var olma mücadelesi veriyorlar. Ülkemizin franchise sistemine şiddetle ihtiyacı var. Kalitesizliğin, eğitimsizliğin, kayıt dışılığın çaresi Franchising sistemi. Franchisingte başarı çaba gerektiren diğer işlerde olduğu gibi çok çalışma, bilgi, beceri, eğitim, sistem ve kontrol yoğrularak ve bu disiplini sıkı sıkıya uygulayarak oluşturulur. Bu sistem kurallarına bağlı kalan franchiseler gerçekten başarının keyfini yaşarlar.

A Franchising system is the best way for a brand to enlarge and develop, however, while it is the state that would benefit the most, it has still not passed the required Franchising laws, this is a considerable disadvantage to the Turkish brands. How a Franchising system can be run under Turkish Business laws as is today’s situation I really do not know! We are faced with the position that the Franchising system without ever being properly studied was placed under already existing laws which means Franchises are run under laws which were actually formed to oversee illegal companies while the Franchising system is one of complete legality so that this ends up as an obstacle to brand protection. In our country,companies which enlarge under the Franchising system are faced with unfair competition both quality wise and financially.

While the Franchise system adheres totally to the existing laws which state authority had passed small illegal entities work and are simply not controlled! Even if contolled and discrepancies are found no action is taken. Result forceful serious controls are effected on legal businesses while illegaly working small companies continue to destroy workers’ social rights.They leave behind them lots of wronged victims and open wounds in the countrys’ economy. In order to comply with the regulations which the unfair competition does not comply with Franchises are then obliged to effect only medium growth when they increase the price of their products consequently can sell only to a certain income group.

Or increase swiftly and hugely and fight to compete with the support of their buying power.

The Franchise system is a serious need for our country. It is the solution to bad quality, lack of education and illegal business. To be successful within the Franchise system it is necessary,as in other systems, to work hard, have know how, capacity, training, a system and its control all must be molded together and that discipline be closely adhered to. The Franchise which follow the rules of the system will then be able to really enjoy the fruits of success.

düne kadar sokaklarda seyyar satıcılar tarafından satılan simit, yeni markaların öncülüğünde bir endüstriye dönüşüyor. Modern, konforlu salonları ve ekonomik ürün seçenekleriyle simit zincirleri, girişimcilerden yoğun talep görüyor. Peki, simit bu noktaya nasıl geldi. Geleneksel lezzetlere yönelen girişimciler son dönemde inanılmaz bir hızla büyüyor. Çok değil 10-15 yıl öncesine kadar sayıları 5-6’yı geçmeyen yerli zincirler, şimdi yabancı rakipleriyle dişe diş rekabet edebilir hale geldiler. Şimdi bu yoldan simitçilerimiz de ilerliyor.

Genelde iki ya da üç katlı konumlandırılan simitçi dükkanları, bulundukları şehrin gözde semtlerinde kendilerine yer buluyorlar. Açıldıkları ilk yıllarda sıradan bir kafe konseptinde olan simitçiler için şimdi “çağ atladılar” denilebilir. Zira rahat koltukları, temiz masaları ve şık dekorasyonlarıyla son derece konforlu ve sıcak mekanlar haline geldiler. Çünkü tek bir merkezde üretim yapıyorlar. Tüm şubelerine de oradan gönderiyorlar. Zincir mağazalar dışında satın aldığınız simitlerin lezzeti, tadı ise bulunduğu bölgeye göre değişebiliyor. until recently simits were sold by street vendors but now under the direction of new brands they have developed into an industry. Investors are immensely keen on these modern comfortable premises which sell a wide choice of reasonably priced simits. So how did the simit arrive at this point?

Investors, recently, are rapidly increasing within the indigenous food sectors.

Up until 10-15 years ago there were not more than 2 or 6 domestic chains, but now our brands have become capable of fighting tooth and nail against foreign competition.The simit has now followed this pattern.

In general the simitçi shops are 3 or even 4 floored premises positioned in their citys’s most prominent streets.In the first years when they opened they were simple little places but now we can say that the simit concept has really leaped into modernization.

With their comfortable arm chairs,clean tables and smart decorations they have become really hospitable, attractive places.Simit shops are not affected by economical crisis nor do they live with the fear of having to close because of competitive pressure.One can even say that they have turned these problems into opportunities. We witness simit shops which take over premises from restaurants which had to close.In addition to simits you can also find other snacks there.In fact each brand offers its different choices however there is a standard which the brand has developed this standard does not vary as all are produced at the same central then sent our to the branches, but street sold simits do differ from region to region Brands active in the country in general,maintain their standards of customer satisfaction and are effecting rapid growth. The brands working by the Franchise system have also become an important source of employment.These brands aim to enlarge even more in Turkey. They wish to work with people who are capable of carrying the brand name,entrepreneurs with modern ideas, with principles,people who follow market trends and they are succeeful. In this edition of our magazine we wish to focus your attention on the simitçis who are giving Franchises. With this intention,we have had discussions with the foremost brands in the sector so that we can pass on advice to new investors.

Will you please briefly introduce yourself?

I was born in Alaca,Çorum in 1969.I am an economics graduate.I was a professional in the food sector for almost 20 years. In 2012 together with 3 partners we established Simitçi Dünyası. I am a partner and General Manager there.

Şirket merkezimiz Çamlıca / İstanbul’da. Fabrikamız Ankara’dadır. Öncelikle 4000 m2’lik modern bir üretim tesisi kurduk. Sonrasında konsept çalışmalarımızı tamamladık ve ilk Simitçi Dünyası dükkânımızı Bağdat Caddesinde açtık.

Will you tell us about the formation and enlargement of your company?

Our company is Bistorya Gıda San.Ticaret A.Ş.our brand is Simitçi Dünyası. We established it in 2012.Our business central is in Çamlıca/Istanbul and our factory in Ankara. First we built a 4000 sq.m modern production unit. Then we formed our concept and opened our 1st Simitçi Dünyası shop in Bagdat Caddesi.

Şuan kaç şube ile ve nerelerde hizmet veriyorsunuz?

Hali hazırda 80 şubede hizmet vermekteyiz. Bu şubelerin 12 tanesi İstanbul’da 30 tanesi Ankara’da ve kalan 38 şube de Türkiye’nin değişik illerindedir.

Presently how many branches do you have and where are they situated?

We have 80 branches.Of these 12 are in Istanbul,30 in Ankara and the remaining 38 in various regions of Turkey.

Franchise vermeye ne zaman başladınız? Neden Franchise sistemini seçtiniz? İlk 10 dükkânımızı şirketimiz adına ve çok iddialı yerlerde açtık. Bağdat Caddesi, Beşiktaş, Çamlıca sonrasında 7 tane Ankara Kızılay’da. Daha sonrasında Franchise verdik.

Ancak Franchise modeliyle şirketimizi ve markamızı büyütmeyi en başından planladık.

Zira Franchise modeli işin ve markanın hızlı ve sağlam büyümesinin en doğru yolu olduğunu biliyorduk.

When did you begin to give Franchises and why did you choose the Franchise system?

Our first 10 shops were opened in the company name in pretentious places Bağdat Caddesi,Beşıktaş,Çamlıca and 7 in Ankara Kızılay. After that we began to give Franchises.

Actually we had planned from the beginning to enlarge by this method as we knew that Franchising was the correct and safe way of enlargement.

Yatırımcı adaylarında aradığınız kriterler neler?

Yatırımcı adaylarımızda aradığımız şartların başında samimiyet ve güven geliyor. Eğer bir kişi samimiyse ve kendine güveniyorsa o kişiyle daha rahat çalışıyorsunuz. Elbette yatırım için finans, yer vb ihtiyaçlarda işin olmazsa olmazıdır. Ama ben para kazanmak isteyen yatırımcıları çok seviyorum.

What are the criteria you look for in your Franchisees?

Our first criteria is that the investor candidate be sincere and trustworthy. If a person is sincere and at the same time sure of himself then one can work well with that person.Obviously they must have the necessary finance and situation.

However I really like investors who are keen to earn.

Denetimleri nasıl gerçekleştiriyorsunuz?

Simitçi Dünyası şubelerimizin çalışma standartlarını izlemek, önerilerde bulunmak ve gelişmesini sağlamak amacıyla düzenli olarak Operasyon Departmanımız bünyesindeki Bayi Yöneticilerimiz, şubelerimiz ile sık diyalog halindedirler. Şubenin ihtiyaçlarını kendilerinden de önce tespit etmeye çalışarak bayiye yol gösterme konusunda önemli rol oynarlar. Hayalet müşteri çalışmasından elde ettiğimiz sonuçları bayimizle tüm açıklığıyla paylaşıyoruz. Bayinin finansal durumu, ciro istatistikleri reklam ve pazarlama ile ilgili tüm ihtiyacı olan gereksinimleri de tespit ediyoruz.

How do you checkup on Franchisees?

In Simitçi Dünyası we have an operations department in which there are Franchisee Managers it is they who are in constant contact with Franchisees,who follow the standard of their work and who offer suggestions to ensure their progress. These managers play an important role as they estimate the requirements of the branch even before the Franchisee himself does,in this manner they direct him in the correct direction.We also freely share with the Franchisee all the input /criticism we obtain by way of our ‘ghost customers’. We also focus on all requirements for finances, turnover figures, advertising and marketing.

Firmanız bünyesinde franchise sistemiyle açılacak bir işletmenin ortalama maliyeti nedir?

Simitçi Dünyası olarak iki konseptimiz var. Simitçi Dünyası Fırın Cafe ve Simitçi Dünyası Bistro Cafe . Bistro Cafe konseptindeki mağazalarımıza mutfak kuruyoruz ve Makarna – Salata –Beyaz Et – Kırmızı Et vb. yemeklerden oluşan Dünya Mutfağından çeşitleri sunuyoruz. Bistro cafelerin kurulum maliyetleri Fırın Cafelerin kurum maliyetlerinden kabaca 70-80 bin TL daha fazla tutuyor. Mağazaların kurum maliyetleri mekanların metrekarelerine göre değişiyor. Ancak rakiplerimizin kurulum maliyetlerinin çok çok altında bir maliyete kurduğumuzu net şekilde söyleyebilirim.

Girişimcilerin firmanızı tercih etme nedenleri nelerdir?

Geleneksel olan işimizi, yeniliğe açık hale dönüştürerek girişimcilerin yatırım maliyetlerini kısa zamanda geri kazanmalarına olanak sağlayabiliyoruz. Belli bir kitleye değil her kesime hitap edebiliyoruz. Güzel dükkânlar yapıyoruz. Mekânlarımız her yaştan ve her gelir düzeyine sahip insanların tercih ettikleri mekânlardır. Birde biz açılan her dükkânı kendi dükkânımız olarak görür ve kâr etmesini sağlatırız.

What is the average investment involved in your Franchise system?

In Simitçi Dünyası we have 2 concepts, Fırın Cafe and Bıstro Cafe where kitchens are established from which we offer Macaroni-Salads-White Meat-red Meat etcchoices from the world kitchen. The investment on The Bıstro Cafe is on principle approximately 70-80 thousand TL more than the Fırın Cafes.The actual shop investment of course depends on location and site. However I can definitely say that premises which we setup are lower in price to the ones our competitors effect.

Why do investors prefer your company?

We are constantly adjusting our work to new trends in this manner we are able to obtain swift return on investment for our Franchisees. We are not directed to one customer group but to all. We set up attractive shops. They are places which everyone of every age every budget enjoy. Our company also sees every shop opened as our own and ensure a profit is made there.

Dolayısıyla patrona iyi hizmet sunmak gerekiyor. Sunanın ve sunumun da çok iyi olması gerekiyor.

İddia ediyoruz Türkiye’nin en güzel simitlerini, açmalarını, poğaçalarını, böreklerini, kurabiyelerini, yaş pastalarını ve bu alandaki onlarca ürünü biz üretiyoruz. Menümüz oldukça dolu dolu ve zengin. Simitçi Dünyası olarak fırın ürünlerinin yanı sıra Dünya mutfağından sunduğumuz yemek çeşitlerimizde çok farklıdır. Özellikle son 6-7 aydır Anadolu’ya Bistro Cafeler açıyoruz ve misafirlerimiz olarak kabul ettiğimiz müşterilerimiz yemeklerimizden çok memnunlar. Çok önemsediğiniz bir bölge veya mağazanız var mı? Neden?

Ağustos ayı içerisinde Kars şubemizin açılışını yaptık ve şu an günlük ortalamada 13 bin TL ciro yapıyoruz. Ekim ayında Hakkari /Yüksekova ve Bayburt şubelerinin açılışlarını yapacağız.

Türkiye’nin bölgesinde şubeleştiğimiz gibi Doğu ve Güneydoğu Anadolu bölgelerinde de şubeler açmanın sorumluluğumuz olduğuna inanıyoruz.

Simitçi Dünyası olarak hedeflerinizi öğrenebilir miyiz?

Programımız doğrultusunda 2015 yılı sonunda, yurt içinde en az 90 şubemiz olacak. Sonrasında Türkiye’nin Simitçi Dünyası olmayan ili kalmayacak. Hollanda, Belçika ve Hollanda’dan oluşan Benelüx ülkelerinin Master Franchising anlaşmasını yaptık ve ilk şubemizin inşaatına başladık.

Ayrıca Almanya ve İngiltere için Master Franchising görüşmelerimizi sürdürüyoruz. Arkasından Avrupa’nın diğer ülkeleri, Orta doğu ve Asya ülkelerine başlayacağız. ISO 9001, ISO 22000 HACCP, ISO14001, Helal Belgesi gibi tüm belgelerimiz var. Birkaç aya Turquality belgesine de sahip olup yurt dışında yoğun mağazalaşmalar yapacağız. Üç yılda yaklaşık 150 kişinin çalıştığı bir fabrika ve 2000’den fazla çalışanın olduğu 80 şube yaptık. Şirketimizin kısa, orta ve uzun vadeli tüm planlarını oluşturduk. Örneğin 2020 yılında yurt içerisinde 300 ve yurt dışında 100 mağazamız olacak. Franchise, Pazarlama, Operasyon, Finans, Eğitim, İnşaat ve diğer tüm departmanlarımızda alanında uzman arkadaşlarımız bu hedef doğrultusunda çalışmaktadır.

What must Franchisees do in order to be successful?

They must believe in the brand and must work hard.At Simitçi Dünyası we form the complete setup and mechanizms. The investors or their managers must follow exactly all the rules and directions that they are taught. We are working in a tough market.

The consumer is boss. Therefore it is imperative that he is given good service. It is not enough that product and placement be good. The person who serves and the manner of serving must be excellent.

Why do investors choose this sector?

Have you ever met a person who doesn’t eat simit or drink tea? The backbone of this business is simit and tea. These 2 are the mutuals that regardless of age or budget all enjoy. The customer group we aim at is everyone. Because of this the places we open work well and are active all hours of the day. We look upon all the Simit Dünyası branches as our own and ensure they make a profit. An additional reason for their preference is that we enlarge our concept following new trends in the world kitchen so that similar items are to be found with us.

Will you describe the new concepts that you have brought to this sector?

Our claim is we produce Turkey’s best simits, açmas, böreks, biscuits and cakes and we have a very wide range of them.Our menu is rich and large. As well as our oven products the choice of our food, of the world kitchen type is very varied. In particular during the last 6-7 months we are opening Bıstro Cafes in Anatolia and our clients, whom we see as our guests, are delighted with the food.

Do you have a special region or a special shop?Why? In August we opened a branch in Kars. The education year has not yet started,that is the schools and universities are still closed.Despite this our daily turnover is more than 10 thousand TL. Building is being effected in Hakkari Yüksekova. As this placement is in the East of Turkey we are thrilled to be opening a Simitçi Dünyası Bıstro Cafe there.I am sure we shall effect good business.

May we learn the goals of Simitçi Dünyası?

Our plans are to have 100 branches by the end of 2015 so that no region of Turkey is without a Simitçi Dünyası. We are also opening abroad. We have already completed Master Finance argreements for Holland-Belgium-Germany and England. Other countries in Europe, the Middle East and Middle Asia will follow. We hold ISO 9001, ISO 22000 HACCP, ISO 14001 and Helal Belgesı Quality Certificates. Our Turquality education continues. Within 1 or 2 months we shall be owners of that certificate too.

Then we shall begin the huge enlargement abroad. In 3 years we have established a factory in which approximately 150 people work and 80 branches in which there are more than 1500 workers. We are successfully following our short, madium and long range plans.An example is by 2020 we shall have approximately 300 domestic and 100 foreign branches. The friends working in our Franchise, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Education, Building and other departments are all working towards these goals.

‘Our brand began in 2009 by producing the standard street simit, however using our modern production techniques as well as the cooked and frozen street simit, we began to produce açma, poaça (both traditional Turkish flour products) nd yeast type doughs and now salty and sweet we produce almost 200 different items’, Metin Nemutlu, the firms founder stated when answering our questions.

Şti., simit sanatının ustası deneyimli personeli ile üretimini İstanbul Kağıthane’de bulunan 2 bin 800 metrekarelik fabrikasında gerçekleştirmekte. ISO 9001:2008 ve ISO 22000 Kalite ve Gıda Güvenliği Yönetim Sistemleri belgeleriyle en gelişmiş modern üretim tekniklerini kullanan firmamız, pişmiş ve donuk sokak simidinin yanı sıra açma, poğaça gibi mayalı ürün grupları ile tatlı ve tuzlu yaklaşık 200 çeşit taze, çiğ donuk, yarı pişmiş donuk ve pişmiş donuk unlu mamuller üretmektedir. 2014 yılında mevcut ürünlerimize pasta ve ekmek urun grubunu da ekleyerek ürün çeşidimizi zenginleştirip, müşterilerimizin daha geniş taleplerini karşılayabilmeyi hedefledik.

I am an administrative engineer.I have been in the sector for 20 years.While still a partner in one of the leading companies in the food sector of non household consumer products,at the end of 2009 I founded Şehr-i Simit and began to sell to a famous product/shop channel.

Will you please tell us about the foundation and development of your company?

In 2009 Tekiz Gıda Ltd.Sti.was founded,in Istanbul Kağıthane in a 2800m sq factory with an experienced master simit maker and personnel and production of the traditional Istanbul street simit began. We hold ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 22000 Quality and Food Security Management certificates.Our company uses the most modern production techniques,as well as normal street simit or frozen simit,açma poğaca,yeast products both salty and sweet.We make approximately 200 varieties of fresh, frozen, half cooked,cooked and frozen flour products.In 2014 we added to those products cakes and bread with the aim of enriching our product choice so as to satisfy

Bu gün itibariyle biri kendi yerimiz, 5’i ise franchise olmak üzere 6 noktada hizmet veriyoruz.

Bunun yanı sıra İstanbul Avrupa yakasında Zekeriyaköy’den Esenyurt’ta kadar 35 Carrefour mağazasının içerisinde müşterilerimize hizmet veriyoruz. Carrefour, Real, Migros marketlerinde de ürünlerimiz satılıyor.

Franchise vermeye ne zaman başladınız? Neden Franchise sistemini seçtiniz?

2012 yılının sonunda gerekli olan çalışmaları yapıp, alt yapımızı hazırladık ve sonrasında franchise vermeye başladık. Franchise sisteminde yatırımcı işinin başında bulunuyor ve gerekli müdahaleleri anında yapıyor. Yatırımcının yetersiz kaldığı durumlarda ise biz franchıse noktamıza yardımcı oluyoruz. Bu ikili paylaşımın doğal sonucunda ise; hem üretici olarak biz, hem de franchise, işe, dolayısı ile marka’ya sahip çıkıyoruz.

Yatırımcı adaylarında aradığınız kriterler neler? Öncelikle bu işi severek yapmak isteyen yatırımcılarla çalışmak istiyoruz. Yatırımcının işinin başında durması ve işi benimsemesi bizim için büyük önem taşımaktadır. Bu işten anlayan, buradan kazandığı para ile geçinecek yatırımcılar önceliklidir. Parası olup “Bende bir simit kafe açayım, tutarsa bu işi yaparım tutmazsa başka iş yaparım” diyen her yatırımcıyla da çalışmıyoruz. Gerçekten markaya sahip çıkacak, bu işte uzun vadede çalışmak isteyen kişilere franchise veriyoruz.

Firmanız bünyesinde franchise sistemiyle açılacak bir işletmenin ortalama maliyeti nedir?

Maliyetler markamız adı altında açılacak mekanın metrekaresine göre değişmektedir. Bununla birlikte 150-250 metrekare bir mekan açmak için ortalama 300 bin TL bir maliyet ortaya çıkmaktadır. Yatırımcılarımızdan giriş ücreti olarak 30 bin dolar dışında herhangi bir ücret talep etmiyoruz.

Girişimcilerin firmanızı tercih etme nedenleri nelerdir? Öncelikle 30 bin TL isim hakkı dışında, yatırımcılarımızdan herhangi bir ücret talep etmememiz tercih edilirliğimizi arttırıyor. Biz ürünlerimizi, franchisee’lerimize verip zaten para kazanıyoruz. Bu nedenle cirodan ya da başka bir şekilde yatırımcımızdan bir ücret talep etmiyoruz. Aynı zamanda yaptığımız ürünün ve markamızın hep arkasındayız. Yatırımcının karşılaştığı en ufak sorunla ilgileniyoruz. Yatırımcımıza açılacak mekanın dizaynından tutun personel ihtiyacına

Because of the importance that Tekiz Gıda Ltd.Şti. gives to enlargement,to range and novelty of product it continues its work with Research and Development subjects with Istanbul Teknık University Food Engineering.It sells its frozen items under the Şehr-i Simit brand name to such world wide famous chain brands as Carrefour, IKEA and Migros, to big catering companies, to high class hotels in tourist regions, military establishments, school canteens in other words to many non household consumer groups. Şehr-i Simit cafes,which are rapidly increasing in number in Turkey, also offer our flavourful products for the appreciation of our customers there. Tekiz Gıda Ltd.Şti. has started to export and intends to constantly increase those exports.The exports are mainly traditional Istanbul simits but other products also go to both Europe and to the Middle East.

The brand of Şehr-i Simit is always focused on customer satisfaction and it also has the goals of suitable pricing on a quality product so that first of all the street simit, then all its products enter every possible place so that we can become leader in our own sector.

At the moment how many branches do you have and where are they situated?

Presently 6 one of them being our own,5 being Franchises.In addition on the European side of Istanbul from Zekerıyaköy to Esenyurt we satisfy the customers in 35 Carrefour shops.Real and Migros also sell our products When did you first begin to give Franchises and why the Franchise System?

We began at the end of 2012 first effecting the necessary work structures then we began to give.In the Franchise System the investor is in charge of the business and is there to effect any required action immediately. If there is a problem with the capacity of the investor we help out.So from this partnership a natural result occurs both the manufacturer and the Franchisee are responsible for the brand.

What are the Qualities you look for when choosing your Franchisees?

First we wish to work with people who enjoy this business.Their liking it and their being in charge of it is of great importance to us. Primarily people who understand this sector and need to pay their own way. We don’t work with just any investor especially the “I’ll open a simit cafe, OK if it works but if it doesn’t I’ll do something else”type.We give Franchises to people who will really value our brand and who wish to be in this business for the long term.

What is the average investment needed to open within your Franchising System?

It changes according to the m.sq of the premises. A unit of 150-250m sq would need an approximate investment of 300,000 TL. We take as our fee only 30,000$, nothing additional.

Simit kafelerin geldiği nokta gerçekten iyi durumda. Bundan sonra konsept gibi küçük değişiklikler dışında fazla bir şey olmayacağını düşünüyorum. Ancak gıda alanında bir kargaşa da yaşanıyor. İnsanlar para kazanmak için bu tür uygulamalar yapmaya başladı. Bunun önüne geçilip, herkesin kendi alanında faaliyet göstermesi sağlanmalıdır. Bu kargaşa bütün yatırımcılara zarar veriyor. Şehr-i Simit olarak hedeflerinizi öğrenebilir miyiz? Şu an Carrefour Marketleriyle birlikte satış noktalarımız 50’ye ulaşmış bulunuyor. 2016 sonunda bu rakamı 100’e çıkartmayı hedefliyoruz. 2018 sonunda ise yüzde yüz büyümeyi planlıyoruz. Piyasanın düzene girmesiyle birlikte franchise ağına ağırlık vereceğiz. Aynı zamanda fabrikamızı büyütüp, personel sayımızı artırarak yolumuza devam edeceğiz.

Son olarak eklemek istediğiniz şeyler var mı?

Sektörün; doğru üretici ile doğru satıcı bir araya geldiğinde büyüyeceğine inanıyorum. Gerçekten bu işi yapmak isteyen, bu alanda faydalı olmak isteyen kişilerin yatırımcı olması gerekir.

Doğruların bir araya gelmesi başarıyı getirecektir. Bu bağlamda iyilerin kalacağını ve sektörün büyüyeceğini düşünüyorum.

Why do investors choose your company?

One of the reasons is that apart from the 30,000 $ we do not require any additional payment.In any case when we give our products to the Franchisee we are earning. For this reason we do not ask for any % on turnover or any other. At the same time we, the brand always support them: We help them with even the smallest problem they are faced with. We help with the design of the premises they’ll open and with their personnel requirements. We see our Franchisees as our partners and make an effort to ensure they also earn.

What must a Franchisee do to be successful?

As in any business in the simit business also they must love their work and have vision these are the key factors. This is why we want people who really do wish to do this business, who enjoy the kitchen sector, people who can also help us develop and improve.

Why should investors enter this sector?

In todays world people are often obliged to work far from home.Because of distance, traffic, heavy work load, most of their time is spent away from home so they cannot find the time to enjoy home made food especially at breakfast time.Our culture of the simit is both cheap and filling so it protects its position. As well as the simits the other flour products are being much enjoyed. The facts that our people cannot spend a lot and that their time is limited means that demand continues regardless of season.

People who wish to invest in a long term business find the possibility in this sector.

Additionally in our concept we do not only have flour based products.In our Franchise branches,lunch time and early evening,in order to increase turnover we have added salads,appetizers and mantı (a type of macaroni), world kitchen choices.

How do you see the future of your sector?

The position that simit cafes has come to is a very good one.I personally,apart from one or two touch ups or slightly different concepts,belive it will not change much.

However at the moment the food sector is faced with a mix up.In order to make a profit people have started to do strange things. It is essential to eliminate this ,everone must work in their own sector. This mix up can cause problems for all investors.

May we hear about the future plans for Şehr-i Simit?

Presently with Carrefour Markets our sales points have reached the number of 50.

We hope to increase this to 100 by the end of 2016, and increase that by 100% by the end of 2018.When the market place calms we shall give prominence to our Franchise network.Always marching forward we shall continue to enlarge both our factory and the number of our employees.

Is ther anything that you wish to add?

I believe that the sector enlarges when the right manufacturer and the right seller come together.It is essential that the investors who come really wish to do this work and will be good for the sector.When the right choices come together then success comes too.So from this perspective I believe the good will stay and the sector will enlarge.

ranchise denilince akla önce hamburgerci pizzacı gibi başarılı bir perakende konseptini tekrarlayanlar gelir. Ama büyük ciro, ürün dağıtım kanalı olarak kurulan mağaza zincirlerinde yapılır. Giyim, spor, takı, beyaz eşya, mobilya, elektronik, kırtasiye gibi hemen her sektörde önde gelen markalar bayilikten franchise sistemine geçiyor. Tabela, dekor, tedarik, fiyat, el kitabı, eğitim, denetim, reklam, kampanya, bölge koruma gibi franchise sistemine has unsurlar tamamlanıyor. Şimdi yeni moda bu, üreticiler bayi ağını franchise zincirine dönüştürüyor. Bu işte başarılı olanların satışları artıyor, bayileri para kazanıyor, müşterinin markaya bağlılığı artıyor.

Bayilerin franchise sistemine dönüştürülmesi yaygın bir trend. ABD de çok önce başladı, hatta “franchising” ile “dealership” sözcüklerini birleştirilip “franship” tanımını uydurdular. Bu dönüşüm yeni bir kapışmayı da beraberinde getirdi. Güçlü markalar büyürken zayıf markalar küçülüyor. Başarılı olanların satışı artarken, başarısız olanlar pozisyon kaybediyor. Bayisine kazandıran her yerde daha çok bayi buluyor, kazandıramayan bayilerini rakibe kaptırıyor. Bu süreçte yaşanan sorunlar neler, nasıl yönetilmeli, üzerinden geçelim.

Neden Franchise Neden belli, markalı mağaza, sistemli çalışma, eğitimli personel markaya itibar kazandırıyor, tahsilatı hızlandırıyor, satışı artırıyor. Ama tersi de geçerli, tüketicide yaratılan beklenti karşılanamazsa markanın değeri düşüyor. Ürün beklentiyi karşılamazsa güçlü bir reklam kampanyasıyla toparlamak mümkün ama, hizmet beklentiyi karşılamazsa müşteri kaybediliyor.

Genelde üreticiler franchise sistemi kurmak için özel bir uğraş göstermiyor. Biraz bayinin zorlaması, biraz patronun hevesi, biraz merkezin desteği ile bir şeyler yapılıyor, kervan yolda düzeliyor. Başta tek tip olmasa da, zamanla hepsi birbirine benzetiliyor. Başta eksikler olsa da, faydası görüldükçe destekler tamamlanıyor.

Her yerde yürümez Ürün gamı ve mağaza tipi belirlenmiş olduğu için, her ortama uymuyor, her yerde çalışmıyor. Nerede açıp nereden kaçmak gerektiğine doğru karar veremeyen, bayilik talepleri karşısında her yere veren, sonradan mağaza kapatmak zorunda kalıyor. hen we say Franchise the first thing to come to mind are hamburgers or pizzas which repeat the success of their retail concept. But it also can take place in volume stock turn over and the chain stores which distribute their merchandise.

Ready to Wear, Sport, Jewellry, White goods, Furniture, Electronics, Stationery… in almost every field the big brands are moving away from branches and into the Franchise System. Name panels, decoration, stock preparation, pricing, hand brochures, training, control, advertising campaigns, district protection all are now being completed by the Franchising method. The fashion now is for manufacturers to change their brand chains into Franchising chains.

Those who are successful with this increase their sales, the Franchisor earns and the customer becomes more brand attached.

Turning branches into Franchising has become a widespread trend.America began this system long ago, they even combined the words franchising and dealership and came up with the “franship” word.This change brought with it another problem.

While the big strong brands are becoming even bigger the small ones are becoming even smaller. The ones which are successful increase their sales, the ones which are not lose even the position they had.The brands which make a profit for their Franchisees can find investors everywhere whereas the brands whose Franchisees don’t earn lose their Franchisees to other brands. Lets look at the problems that are now being faced and how they should be managed.

Why Franchise?

Why are certain brand shops, working to a system,gaining respect with their trained staff, speeding up their payments and increasing their sales while at the same time there is the other situation of those who do not meet the demands of their customer,they are losing ground and losing brand value.If the product does not meet the customers’hopes the situation can still be rectified by a strong advertising campaign. But if the service is bad the brand loses the customer. In general manufacturers do not make a special attempt to set up a Franchise system.Some action from the branch, some whim of the boss, some support from central… then something is done the procession improves itself as it goes along the road. In the beginning even if all are not the same, with time they all become alike. In the beginning when all is not working totally correctly a need is recognized and the support completes it.

It won’t work everywhere.

Once the product and the type of shop are defined,they will not necessarily suit everwhere, nor work

Haşlanmış tane mısır, kavrulmuş fındık, tarhana çorbası, bardakta makarna, muhtelif tatlılar, çiğ köfte, tavuklu pilav, cep telefonu kılıfı, hediyelik eşya, çocuk eğlenceleri ve daha onlarca ürün denendi, halen deneniyor.

Bu gibi işler genelde sadece franchise verene kazandırıyor. Biri kapanırken diğeri açılan dükkanlar, franchise alanların sermayelerini batırırken markayı tanıtıyor.

However once interest is lost and expenses are studied it is realized that the business is only just breaking even or that they have to close. When its situated in a good position they extend the time by changing the product. Boiled corn, roasted nuts, tarhan soups, macaroni in a glass, various sweets, uncooked meat balls, rice and chicken, hand phone covers, present items, toys to amuse children and many more are tried and go on being tried.

Nasıl yapmalı İşini ciddiye alan franchise verenlere ise tavsiyelerim şunlar. Ürününüzü tüketicilere doğrudan satıyor veya bayiler kanalıyla dağıtıyorsanız üretici gibi davranabilirsiniz. Franchise zinciri kuruyorsanız perakendeci gibi davranmanız gerekir. Üretici ve perakendeci dost olamaz, çıkarları çatışır, ancak uyumlu çalışırlar. Üretici toplam satışa bakar, perakendeci toplam kara bakar. Üretici ürünü satılsın, perakendeci satılan ürünü ister.

In these kinds of businesses generally only the ones who give the Franchise profits. One Franchise closes another opens while the capital that the Franchisee has is lost but the brand becomes better known.Therefore my advice to people who wish to take out a Franchise is never build your hopes of becoming rich on one single product.

İş oturana kadar kimseyi riske atmayın, işletme yatırımını kendiniz yapın, gerekiyorsa işletmeci ortak alın. Gelişim ve uyarlama sürecinde az sayıda farklı yerlerde mağaza açın, karı görün, her yerde yürüyeceğinden emin olun, sonra franchise verin. Öncelikle eski bayilerinizi işe heveslendirin, destekleyin, özel avantajlar tanıyın. İşi bilenler dururken bilmeyenleri işe sokmayın, durduk yerde rakip yaratmayın. Çok kazanan yerleri kendinize ayırıp bayilerinizle rekabet etmeyin. Çok kazanan bayinize az kazanan yerleri de verin. Aralarında yıkıcı rekabet yaşatacak kadar yakın bayilikler vermeyin. Ürün gamınızı hemen zenginleştirin, buna mecbur kaldığınızda zamanınız kalmayabilir. Az çeşitle çok satış yapmak için çok iyi ürün gerekir, bu zordur. Az müşteriye çok satış yapmak için çok çeşit gerekir, bu kolaydır.

Bayinizi malınızı satacak savaşçı gibi değil, tüketicinin gireceği kapınızdaki bekçiniz gibi görün. Ortamı, giyimi, davranışıyla sizin markanızı temsil eder. Onu yönlendirin, eğitin, donatın, denetleyin. Üzerinden gereksiz her işi alın, sadece müşteriye odaklanmasını sağlayın.

Sürekli ve güçlü tanıtım yapın. Merkezi reklamlarla imajınızı tüketici hedef kitlenize ulaştırmak sizin işinizdir. Yerel tanıtımda bayilerinizin işinin ne olacağını tanımlayın, yönlendirin, zorlayın.

Kampanya düzenlediğinizde hem sizin, hem bayilerinizin para kazanmasını sağlayın. Siz depoları boşaltırken bayinin stokları şişmesin, karı düşmesin. Tahsilat konusunda eski sağlamcı alışkanlıkları bırakın, teminat gücü az ama işe istekli bayileri kaçırmayın. Elektronik ödemeleri kendinize yönlendirin, banka kredisi, kredi kartı, cepten ödeme, yemek çeki, kampanya kuponu vb. ile doğrudan tahsilat yapın.

Yukarıda verdiğim her tavsiyenin, bir türlü kıyamadığınız çıkarlarınızdan vazgeçmek, eski alışkanlıklarınızı terk etmek anlamına geldiğini ve mecbur kalmadıkça yapmayacağınızı biliyorum. Onun için bayilikten franchise sistemine dönüşmeyi kendiniz yapmayın, bayilik sistemini yönetenlere yaptırmayın. Franchise konusunda danışmanlık alın ve danışmanınızın sözünü dinleyin. Unutmayın, çok satmak iyidir, ama hep satmak daha iyidir.

What’s to be done?

My advice to those serious people who are offering Franchises is if you are selling your products directly to the consumer or supplying to branch selling you can behave like a manufacturer. If you are setting up a Franchise chain you must behave like a retailer. The manufacturer and the retailer can not be friends, their aims are contrary to each other. The manufacturer wants to sell his goods the retailer wants products which sell.

Until the business settles don’t put anyone at risk,make the investment yourself and if necessary make a partner of the manager. While still in the development and settling down period open only a few shops in different places, study their profit, be sure they can work everywhere and then give a Franchise. First of all try to enthuse your previous outlets, support them,give them special deals.

While there are people there who know the business don’t put in people who don’t and don’t give birth to competitors.

Don’t place yourselves in the places which earn really well meaning don’t compete with your Franchisees.Give the places that don’t earn much to the Franchisees that earn well.Don’t give Franchises to positions that are so close to each other that competition is inevitable. Immediately increase the scope of your product as when you are obliged to do it maybe you won’t have the time.

If there is only a small choice of goods it is essential that the product be absolutely excellent, this is difficult. To sell to only a small group of customers a large choice of product is essential,then it is easy.

Don’t see your Franchisee as a warrior who is selling your goods,see him as the keeper of the door that the customer will enter.Surroundings,dress sense,behaviour all represent your brand.Lead, train, help and try him.
