Frieda B. and The Story Barn invite you and the children you love to join us for our AWEtumn Afternoons self-led events in nature. Each week we’ll provide a different assortment of nature-based activities and crafts to explore at your own pace, in your own unique way. You’ll come to the barn, receive all supplies and guidance, and be given a space on our expansive front acreage to serve as your home base. Then you’ll have three hours to use as you like, to explore, observe, play, create... and inspire the essential gift of awe and wonder within. The Wood is committed to keeping this “can’t miss” community event available to the public during the festive holiday season and has partnered with The Promenade Shops at Evergreen Walk to provide a safe environment for patrons to enjoy the gingerbread house display. The festival opens the day after Thanksgiving, Friday, November 27, 2020, and runs through Sunday, January 3, 2021, providing a safe and enjoyable holiday event for the whole family. Calling all beer and lobster fans! Cousins Maine Lobster is excited to announce our visit to Tin Bridge Brewing on Thursday, November 12th from 3:30-8pm. Our famous Connecticut and Maine Lobster Rolls are served either warm or chilled with authentic Maine lobster served on splittop New England rolls.
