Who would have thought that a small landlocked country about the size of Maine would be home to just under 100 golf courses? Prague the historic capital city is in the top 5 of most visited cities in Europe and an economic capital of the EU. Arriving in Prague, you won’t have far to go get into some of the world class golf. There are over 20 courses within the region known as Central Bohemia including the new PGA National Czech Republic at Oaks Prague named Best Golf Course in Europe by the World Golf Awards in 2020. Unless combining a visit with neighboring Eastern European country, Austria, Germany, Poland or Slovakia, it is most likely that North American visitors to the Czech Republic would fly in and out of Prague.

A golf vacation to the Czech Republic will be so much more than just great golf. There is no shortage of experiences for historical enthusiasts with chateau’s, castles and cathedrals in many different architectural styles. The Czech Republic also has one of the highest densities of UNESCO sites in the world.
