ituada en el extremo sur-occidental de España, Huelva es una de las 8 provincias que forman Andalucía. Huelva es uno de los destinos menos urbanizados de España, 25 playas prácticamente vírgenes, de arenas blancas y finas discurren entre las desembocaduras de los ríos Guadalquivir y Guadiana. Pero, además, la provincia se caracteriza por lo extenso de sus parajes naturales. La naturaleza en estado puro es uno de sus mayores patrimonios, pues un tercio de su superficie está amparado por distintos tipos de protección. Doñana y la Sierra albergan los espacios naturales más importantes, a los que se suman ocho parajes naturales, tres reservas naturales y cinco monumentos naturales.

uelva is one of the 8 provinces of Andalucía and it is located in the south west of Spain. The coast line stretches along its territory, a real paradise of unspoilt beaches, exuberant vegetation both on the coast and in the mountain areas and it is a melting pot of cultures where traces of ancient civilizations still remain today. Huelva enjoys the maximum sunny hours a month, one of the mildest weather all year long and in addition, charming people, excellent cuisine and a magical light that inspired writers and artists like Juan Ramón Jiménez and Sorolla. All this makes Huelva a powerful tourist attraction and a tempting destination any time of the year.

Huelva is one of the areas in Spain that still remains fairly untouched by

tourism. It has 25 unspoilt white sandy beaches that run alongside the Guadalquivir and Guadiana river mouth.

largo de Bellavista Golf Club, un escenario idóneo para disfrutar del golf durante todo el año. Su Club social pone a disposición de sus clientes su cancha para prácticas cubierta, y las instalaciones deportivas de tenis, squasch, padel y piscina, así como servicio de restaurante, guardería, salones para juegos, lectura y sala de trofeos antigüos, entre otros. El recorrido, caracterizado por calles amplias con poca distancia entre greenes y tees, hace que el juego sea sumamente cómodo y rápido. The itinerary has wide fairways with greens and tees that are closely located, allowing players to enjoy a comfortable and quick game. The sea is very near and it presents a real challenge for all level players as all the clubs in the bag need to be used.

It is located next to the Piedras river marshes, a protected nature reserve of ecological interest and magnificent views over the Atlantic Ocean. El Rompido Golf has two excellent golf courses surrounded by stunning natural surroundings. Players will be able to choose a wide range of relaxing services at the modern Club House, a large Pro-shop with the best brands or enjoy a drink in the café terrace after a tiring golf game. There is also a fantastic five-star hotel. The South itinerary has hosted many tournaments such as the Final of the Professional Spanish Circuit.

La situación del campo respeta y comparte esteros naturales de agua salada que al mismo tiempo son obstáculos de agua en una parte del recorrido. Su cercanía al Mar y su vegetación autóctona hacen de Isla Canela Golf un marco incomparable para disfrutar del golf al máximo. Es un campo bastante llano con greenes de gran calidad y magníficas calles de bermuda con bunkers estratégicamente colocados.

It is set in Islantilla Golf Club, the most important residential-sport complex on the coast. It opened in the 90’s and it is famous internationally as it has hosted prestigious tournaments. The Club House in located on top of a high hill with views of the ocean. The restaurant, a modern pro-shop, a sauna and a swimming pool are located there and Islantilla Golf Resort is only 50 metres away, a modern four-star hotel. The golf course has 27 holes, three 9-hole itineraries designed for different types of golf players.

La Monacilla Golf Club is placed in Aljaraque, only 5 minutes away from Huelva and an hour from Sevilla and Faro airport. The course was designed

by José Mª Olazábal and it is ideally located in a natural environment near the Odiel river mouth. Fairways have been designed for soft movements and slight unevenness adapting to the topography and thus, providing a pleasant itinerary for players as well as attractive natural surroundings. Its soft slopes, the water, its surroundings, the weather and its excellent greens make La Monacilla Golf Club a reference golf course in the area.

6/La Monacilla Golf Club, se encuentra en el término municipal de Aljaraque, a 5 minutos de la ciudad de Huelva y a una hora de los aeropuertos de Sevilla y Faro. El campo, diseñado por José Mª Olazábal, ocupa una situación privilegiada, rodeado de zonas verdes, y cercano a la desembocadura del río Odiel. Un diseño de calles con movimientos suaves y ligeras ondulaciones, muy adaptado a la topografía del terreno haciendo el recorrido agradable para el paso de los jugadores y atractivo desde el punto de vista paisajístico. Las suaves pendientes, el agua, su paisaje, sus condiciones climáticas y sus espectaculares greenes convierten a La Monacilla Golf Club en el campo de referencia de la zona.

7/CORTA ALTALAYA GOLF

7/Situado a los pies de la Sierra de Aracena y Picos de Aroche, el Club

de Golf Corta Atalaya, el más antiguo de la Península, remonta sus orígenes a finales del siglo XIX (1914) cuando los técnicos ingleses que trabajaban para la compañía minera de Río tinto lo fundaron con el nombre de North Lodge Golf Club. Fue reubicado en 1992 en un nuevo asentamiento, desde el que se puede divisar la corta del que toma su denominación actual. Uno de los mayores encantos de este campo es el espectáculo cromático que ofrece la corta minera, con sus tonos rojizos y cobrizos y ocres. Se trata de un campo de 9 hoyos con (3 par -3,5 par -4 y 1 par -5). La mitad del recorrido es bastante llano, no lo son así dos de sus calles que poseen unas pendientes bastante respetables. La gran singularidad de este campo es que sus calles son de tierra.

Placed at the foot of Aracena and Picos de Aroche Mountains, Corta Atalaya Golf Club is the oldest golf club in Spain. Its origin dates back to the end of the nineteenth century (1914) when English technicians were working in the Riotinto Mines and founded this golf club as North Lodge Golf Club. It was relocated in a new place in 1992 and from there the “corta” (mine) that gives its name to the course can be seen. One of the biggest attractions of this course is the colour display of the Corta of the Riotinto Mines with its reddish, copper and ochre colours. It is a 9-hole course with (3 par -3, 5 par -4 and 1 par -5).

Half of the itinerary is quite even except for two quite steep fairways.

Its soil fairways make this a unique golf course.

8/COSTA ESURI GOLF CLUB

8/Situado en el término municipal de Ayamonte, Golf Costa Esuri, es un campo de 18 hoyos, ubicado en un paraje paisajístico privilegiado junto al río Guadiana con una espectacular vista de Portugal y la desembocadura del río. Las excelentes comunicaciones del campo con los aeropuertos de Sevilla y Faro y a sólo 2 kilómetros de la autovía Sevilla-Portugal, unido a un clima suave con una temperatura media de 20º C, hacen de Golf Costa Esuri un destino privilegiado para los jugadores de golf.
