Format

• All events will be conducted in accordance with the rules of golf and such local rules as approved by the tournament committee.

• Each day teams will be mixed ensuring you get to play with new people each day.

Handicaps

• In order to compete for prizes, competitors must have an oﬃcial handicap (endorsed by your club or authorized handicap golf association). Players without handicaps are welcome to join as social players, as these are primarily social events for club golfers. We will help assign a playing division so your paired with similar ability golfers. Social players may still compete for daily technical prizes like near the pin and also any raﬄe draws.

• The ‘slope handicap system’ will be utilised to calculate player handicaps for the Championship rounds. Under the slope system, the diﬃculty of the golf course and the tee blocks played from determine a player’s handicap prior to the start of each round. The course handicap will be displayed on your scorecard each round and is calculated as follows: Handicap Index x Slope Rating (Corresponding Tee) /113.

Das Event wird gemäß den Golfregeln und etwaigen örtlichen Regeln durchgeführt, die vom Turnierkomitee genehmigt wurden.

Flightzusammenstellung

Die Anantara DACH – 3 Länder Team Challenge bietet die Möglichkeit, neue Golfer kennenzulernen und sollte eine freundliche Turnieratmosphäre bieten. Gerne nehmen wir Familienflights und Wunschflights in Betracht und stellen die Flights gerne je nach Wunsch zusammen.

Team Challenge

Für die Anantara DACH – 3 Länder Team Challenge handelt es sich um ein 3-LänderTurnier zwischen Golfern aus Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz. Sobald wir genaue Anmeldezahlen haben, wird das Format festgelegt.

Netto und Lochspiel

Wir werden auch ein 72-Loch-Einzel-Event inkludieren Lochspiel und Stableford. Golfer der ‘A’-Klasse sind auch berechtigt, an einem 72-Loch-Lochspiel-Event teilzunehmen.

Der Wettbewerb wird in Handicap-Klassen ausgetragen und kann je nach Teilnehmerzahl geändert werden. Die Handicap-Range für jede Klasse (A, B, C) wird aufgrund der endgültigen Einträge festgelegt.

Die Gewinner werden durch die höchste Summe von Stableford-Punkten über die vier Wettbewerbsrunden bestimmt. Trophäen werden an den Gewinner des 72-Loch-EinzelLochspiel- und Stableford-Events vergeben. Das Turnierkomitee hat die Verwendung von Distanzmessgeräten bei der Anantara DACH – 3 Länder Team Challenge genehmigt.

Um einen motorisierten Wagen zu fahren, erklären sich die Teilnehmer damit einverstanden, einen gültigen Führerschein zu besitzen. Im Falle eines Unfalls ist der Fahrer für die Kosten zur Reparatur des Wagens und aller beschädigten Eigentümer sowie für etwaige Personenschäden verantwortlich.

Handicaps

Um Preise zu gewinnen, müssen die Teilnehmer ein offizielles Handicap haben (von Ihrem Club oder autorisierten Handicap-Golfverbänden bestätigt).

Das “Slope-Handicap-System” wird verwendet, um die Spielerhandicaps für die Turnierrunden zu berechnen. Unter dem Slope-System bestimmen die Schwierigkeit des Golfplatzes und die von den Abschlagblöcken gespielten Tees das Handicap eines Spielers vor Beginn jeder Runde.

The Competition

• The tournament will be conducted as a single Stableford competition. Depending on final number of golfers and gender there will be 2-3 divisions for Men & 1-2 divisions for ladies. Winners are determined by the highest aggregate of Stableford points daily. In addition, A grade golfers will compete for overall low Gross score

• Prizes will also be awarded daily for Nearest the Pin and other fun competition.

• Competitors must have an official handicap (endorsed by your club or authorized handicap golf association).

About the Event

Joining you in Pattaya Thailand will be golfers from around the world who share your love of the game and your thirst for fun.

Playing as a team of two, bring along your favourite golfing partner, or register on your own and we will allocate a suitable partner. The exciting competition format including 2 rounds of best ball stableford, ambrose and stableford aggregate. There’s an extensive prize table, quality gift pack, sensational lucky draw prizes and the nightly parties and entertainment are great fun.

Siam Country Club Waterside

The Siam Country Club Waterside Course was designed by IMG and played host to the 2022 Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship, with the winner securing a slot in the US Masters. Golf Course features gently sloping terrain, making it very different from the hillier Siam Country Club Old and Plantation Courses.

Siam Country Club, Plantation Course

The Siam Country Club Plantation Course is simply an amazing golf course. Home to the 2009 US LGPA and the 2015 Thailand Open, the Pattaya course plays as difficult as any golf course in Thailand. This layout is routed through rolling terrain, with distant panoramic views of the Gulf of Thailand.

Siam Country Club, Old Course

Siam Country Club has hosted several international golf tournaments including the annual Honda LPGA Classic from 2010 onwards. As expected the course is impeccably maintained and kept in excellent playing condition year round. The Old Course at Siam Country Club is set in the low hills. The course has an out and back layout with many of the golf holes playing past a series of lakes and strategically placed creeks.

Chee Chan Golf Resort

Chee Chan Golf Resort offers golfers the chance to play on one of the most beautiful modern courses in Asia. Located in the shadows of the famed Khao Chee Chan Buddha. Chee Chan is as visually stunning as it is a golfing challenge. The tournament will consist of 2 rounds of 2 Ball Best Ball Stableford, 1 round of 2 Ball Ambrose / Scramble and 1 round of 2 Ball Aggregate Stableford;

Handicaps

• The ‘slope handicap system’ will be utilised to calculate player handicaps for the Championship rounds. Under the slope system, the diﬃculty of the golf course and the tee blocks played from determine a player’s handicap prior to the start of each round. An average of your daily handicap based on the slope index across all tournament courses will be calculated for you and communicated to you at tournament registration.

Pineapple Valley Golf Club Hua Hin

Opened in October 2008 to worldwide acclaim, Pineapple Valley Golf Club Hua Hinwas named Asia’s best new course in 2009. Boasting panoramic ocean and mountain views, pineapple patches, bougainvillea beds and of course, Banyan trees, come into play on this hillside course.

The clubhouse, offers stunning vistas (especially at sunset) of the Burmese Mountains.

Black Mountain Golf Club

Black Mountain was transformed from lush jungle and pineapple plantations and located around 25 minutes west of Hua Hin. Set in a valley surrounded by huge black granite rock covered mountains, the Hua Hin golf course was the site for Asian PGA tour events in 2009 and 2010 and the Europe versus Asia match play Royal Trophy in 2011. In 2012 and each year since Black Mountain was selected as one of the 100 best golf courses outside the USA by Golf Digest magazine.

The course has been set up for the serious golfer with tournament golf in mind. Since its opening in 2007, it has hosted both European and Asian Tour events, plus the prestigious Royal Trophy.

Springﬁeld Royal Country Club

The traditional Jack Nicklaus designed Springﬁeld Royal Country Club located off the Hua Hin bypass road is a top Hua Hin golf course and an excellent cost- effective alternative to Banyan and Black Mountain.

Springfield has been designed to meet the high demands of a championship golf course, and yet it remains an enjoyable challenge for golfers of all standards. Each hole has five tees to play from, but only golf professionals should attempt the back Jack tees. Water hazards periodically come into play, and each hole presents its challenge and character requiring shop making finesse.

Format

• All events will be conducted in accordance with the rules of golf and such local rules as approved by the tournament committee.

• The Championship will be a 72 hole single stableford event. ‘A’ grade golfers will also be eligible to compete for a 72 hole ‘gross’ event. Golfers will be drawn to play one round at each of the four host courses.

• Golfers may choose morning or afternoon starts each round. Subject to availability.

• Competition is played in age divisions and are subject to change based on entry numbers. The handicap range for each grade (A, B, C) will be based on ﬁnal entries. The maximum handicap for men and women are as follows:

• Age Groups and Handicap Divisions (A,B,C)

You are guaranteed to play with golfers your own age and standard

o Men : 35-60, 61-69, 70+

o Ladies : 35-64, 65+

Maximum HDC for Men is 36 and for Ladies is 45. Players with higher handicaps must play off the maximum permitted handicap.Please note that Tournament Divisions and Grades are subject to change dependent on ﬁnal event numbers and is determined by the Tournament Committee.

• Trophies for the 72 hole event will be awarded for 1st & 2nd place in each age/handicap division. Winners are determined by the highest aggregate of Stableford points over the four competition rounds. Trophies will be awarded to the winner of the 72 hole single stroke ‘gross’ event in each age division. Players may only win one trophy.

• The tournament committee has approved the use of distance measuring devices at the Centara World Masters Golf Championship.

• To drive a motorized cart, competitors agree to possess a current driver’s license and have previous experience driving a golf cart equal to a minimum of four rounds. In the event of an accident, the driver is responsible for the costs to repair the cart and any property damaged as well as being liable for any personal injury claims.

Handicaps

• In order to compete for prizes, competitors must have an official handicap (endorsed by your club or authorized handicap golf association). Players without handicaps are welcome

to join as social players, as these are primarily social events for club golfers. We will help assign a playing division so your paired with similar ability golfers. Social players may still compete for daily technical prizes like near the pin and also any raffle draws.

Laguna Golf Phuket features a resort golf course with pleasant breezes from the Andaman Sea. The Phuket golf course reflects the natural beauty and tropical surroundings as it’s set on a valley floor overlooked by low wooded hills and marshlands.

The Phuket golf course was re-designed in 2014, and now the Laguna Golf Phuket is both more challenging and memorable. Golfers need to think their way around the golf course as each hole offers a multitude of shot options, and both nines have a good variety.

About Blue Canyon Country Club, Canyon Course: 18 holes par 72 (7179 yards)

(Site of Tiger Woods’ 1998 Asian victory and host of 2007 Johnnie Walker)

Blue Canyon Country Club’s Canyon Course was the original 18 hole layout and leaped to fame when selected as the venue for the 1994 Johnnie Walker Classic. Since then the same tournament has returned two times with Tiger Woods winning in 1998.

The course set in an abandoned tin mine displays old strip mine characteristics throughout the property. Streams filled with rust-colored water, canyons with sheer cliffs exposing red and white tin ore-laden rock.

About Red Mountain Golf Club: 18 holes par 72 (6905 yards)

(Phuket’s most exciting course; dramatic scenery and great golf)

It’s not difficult to see why this Phuket golf course was named Red Mountain. Its undeniably more challenging with its dramatic, undulating landscape, where soft red rock and dense jungle were the principal ingredients, now transformed into a ‘must play’ golf course.

Red Mountain Golf Course opened in 2007 and is now considered Phuket’s most spectacular golf course. The course was designed to take advantage of a huge variety of landforms and dramatic elevation changes, making it Phuket’s hilliest course.

Around 23 minutes from Angeles City, Mimosa is located in the shadow of Mount Pinatubo, close to the ex-American Clark Air Base in the Pampanga region. The Philippine country club is two-hours from Manila, making golf on the day of the drive over a good possibility.

Mimosa Plus Golf Course dates back its existence from the time of the Americans in the Philippines.

Subic International Golf Club

Subic has a long history, as the course opened in the 60s as a US military recreation facility, this championship course was originally designed by Desmond Muirhead. Surrounded by a rainforest and with an abundance of water hazards, the view from any angle is stunning.

It’s not an overly long golf course, but it is tricky and requires precise shot placement.

The Siam Country Club’s Rolling Hills Course is located 2.5 kilometers past the Waterside Course on the way to Chee Chan Mountain. Designed by Schmidt-Curley Design, lnc, the world-famous design company makes use of traditional elements more commonly found on mature parkland courses, which have stood the test of time.

The front nine moves away from the clubhouse on relatively flattish land. It has more of an open feel to it with hardly any foliage or large trees on the property. Hole 5 is unique in it has two greens switched in and out to change the length and difficulty. Several others on this nine offer different approaches to the green depending on how aggressive you want to be in attacking the pins. There are severe run-offs on most greens, so a sensible pin attack angle is critical.
