Princes Golf Club run a dozen open competitions throughout the year that attract hundreds of players, one of which being ‘the Princes 27’ - an event played across three courses with three different formats. The Princes 27 used three formats across 3 loops of nine holes. These were greensomes, both balls and best balls.

1. WHAT OPENS DO YOU RUN IN GOLF GENIUS AND WHY DO YOU RUN THEM?
We host around a dozen open events each year, with the Princes 27 being one of the highlights. Another is our Open Week in July and August, which features five days of competitions. Open competitions generate significant revenue for the club through entry fees and secondary spending, such as merchandise. They also act as powerful marketing tools, giving visitors a chance to experience what we offer. Many players return for future competitions as a result.
